hell yeah i have rap recommendations!!

In terms of artists, definitely Kendrick Lamar because of the lyricism and ability to weave a narrative, Metro Boomin', lil Uzi, Cardi B, 21 savage, Tyler the creator, lil nas x, Doja Cat, Kanye, Megan Thee Stallion, City Girls, Saweetie, and ASAP Rocky all have classics that have shaped the genre in their own way since 2012.

Most songs that have collabs /features with people like SZA, kali uchis, kanye, rihanna, the Weeknd, lana del rey, and other pop artists are pretty fire. Don't shy away from popular songs! They got popular for a reason, and having an artist you know in the song can make a completely new genre less daunting.

In terms of songs, I would definitely suggest:

Just Wanna Rock (lil Uzi), Runnin (21 savage and metro boomin), Right Foot Creep (youngboy never broke again), Collared Greens (ScHoolboy Q, Kendrick lamar), Glock in my lap (21 savage, metro boomin), the Box (Roddy Ricch) because they're hype and iconic.

Songs that have dances attached to them are also a great place to start because then you can straight up see people's enjoyment of it. Songs like juju on that beat, drop it like it's hot, even Wobble (by VIC) and low (by FloRida and T Pain) are really good intro dance songs. The important thing about these songs is that the audience is much broader than for some rap songs. The audience for the dance songs (ie. 'all the shawties in the club', 'west coast', or even 'you') is whoever feels like participating, whereas for example, "Not Like Us' by kendrick is a very specific diss that's meant to be listened to a wide range of people but is a response to Aubrey Drake Graham's bitchass.

Because no matter what type of designs you go with (whether it's the more bizarre pre-aoe designs or more slightly humanoid AOE and TLK designs) they're gonna look so fucking cool

I feel like in general? Bayverse Megatron would get along better with the bayverse DJD than IDW megatron did with the IDW DJD. Just a hunch. Maybe it's partially because he's under the influence of the Fallen for much of the bayverse war, maybe he's just like that a tad. More than a tad. Though, I can see him thinking the DJD is a bit too indulgent in their hunts, he doesn't give a fuck about how brutal they are but bayverse Megatron is one of the more direct ones and he likes to Do What He Wants Done and get it over with.

I don't think the bayverse DJD would be as organized as the IDW DJD, but they sure as hell wouldn't shy away from the gruesome aspects of their job.

It'd be hell to animate with larger mecha but I feel like the bayverse Decepticon Justice Division would have this ✨energetic energy✨ to them, like they can barely contain themselves during a hunt. These fuckers are elated to torture mecha to death. Kaon's coils are always zapping a little bit. there's always a faint rumbling noise from Helex. You can see Tesarus's blades twitch occasionally. Vos... I don't know for Vos. I feel like Tarn's the only one who shows no visible or audible sign he's excited. He usually moves very precisely, like each movement is planned in advance. For the most part, they are. This leads to fun situations where he's put in a situation where he's caught off guard and you see his "carefully controlled" facade slip. Like Megatron yelling at him for something or him being confronted by a late pentology Optimus who has so little to lose and is willing to wear his fingers down to the knuckles fighting if it means protecting what he little he has left.

Imagining Tarn being back on a true battlefield. For the first time in a while, Tarn is honestly fighting for his life and he's sucked into the normally chaotic bayverse fighting style. It's like taking someone who's used to hunting foxes for a living and tossing them to a pack of wolves to try and survive. I mildly forget what he was doing before he was the Commandant at Grindcore but I'm suggesting he's played the specialist for long enough that he hasn't been on the generalist playing field in a while.

There are so many ways I can turn the hunters to the hunted :)
