i haven't written much this year, but i guess i didn't expect to update her becoming?? also wrote a little bit for rusty lake roots, which was a surprise

the artificial aegis project forever and ever!!!! but i will also always shamelessly plug soup and to be a sword . and since i'm currently rereading it, also my favourite botw/aoc fic honey nut. i think i've already read it twice this year.

There's a few I could talk about but-- tbh what came to mind just now and that I really like is the Forest Temple from Ocarina of Time. I've always really, really, really really loved that place. It feels like home

7 - Truthfully? Kingdom Hearts. I've had a major on/off relationship with that series, and then 3 rolled up and. Wow I just cannot bring myself to legitimately care anymore.

8 - Yakuza. Or. Technically it's Like A Dragon now. Either way - games look obscenely good and I need to give them a proper try some time

9 - I was really really really lucky and didn't get spoiled on anything in OMORI. And now it happens to remain as one of my favorite RPGs. Honorable mention to OneShot for this answer as well!

Emmet was back on track. He meant it.

Gear Station was up and running, even if there. Wasn't really anything he could do about the Multi Line. (It was still too painful to go near the cars, let alone imagine replacing-) The paperwork was up to date once again. All of their, his pokemon were back in fighting shape, care routines on track.

Emmet hasn't, however, put the brakes back on.

He has never run the station alone. He was a two-car [train]. He *has* to keep the Singles and Doubles lines running, even on fumes. Until his brother comes home, Emmet will keep things going as best as he can, no matter what.

Last night, there was emails from the league about. Something. He can't remember. The last email he sent back was dated 4:17 am.

Emmet has, perhaps, not been sleeping much.

Another challenger approached, and Emmet opened his mouth to  let his script tumble its way out on rote. Its hard to focus, after all...

The car shook around him. He swayed with it, a natural rhythm, a familiar companion.

He blinked, slow, like through molasses.

And then, Emmet collapsed.

And then.

(And then,)

Ingo stood up.

He groaned, and wondered briefly why he was on the floor in the first place. He had fallen asleep in his bedroll, for once, not on a surface so... cold.

Bracing himself, there was a thrumming beneath his feet. It echoed in his blood, and when Ingo met the eyes of the young man facing him, Ingo easily lost himself in that rhythm.

He knew this. This was a good dream, and he would ride these rails as far as he could.

So! Who would be interested in having a Kingdom Hearts fix-it fic delivered to their inbox?

It was originally a long-running fic that I started writing prior to KH3D's release. Given how KH3 released years after I finished writing the fanfic, it's now a KH au that's honestly more of just a fix-it fic because, well, I know a lot of us were disappointed.

But also, even if you weren't disappointed, but AUs are still your thing... well, ATPverse is the thing for you.

ATPverse stems from "All the Pieces Lie Where They Fell" which, interestingly, fell in line with the naming of "Falling to Pieces," (FTPverse) written by @rarmaster, who is definitely sending out their KH au to people's inboxes starting next month.

Anyway, I'm currently in the process of porting everything from fanfiction . net to Ao3 largely for archival purposes, but I do miss the community that was there back in the day and it'd be nice to share my work with people who were interested in reading it!

All the Pieces Lie Where They Fell is about Sora and Riku going to take their Mark of Mastery exam, but Kairi tags along. Once the exam is over, it's clear everyone (Kairi included!) must join in the fight to stop Xehanort. Also, there are people to remember - and they can help in the fight.

Betwixt and Between follows Sora, Kairi, Riku, Namine, Roxas, Xion, and Axel finding their ways in the wake of Xehanort's apparent death. There are some old friends who want to see them, but also some old enemies. Also, the worlds shouldn't leak darkness and someone should do something about that.

In Remnants, our heroes must find the scraps of Xehanort's soul and destroy them, so he can never return again. With each soul remnat they encounter, they must resist being dragged into darkness and becoming a puppet. If they do not destroy the soul remnants in time, he will come back in full. Unfortunately, some of those soul remnants have attached themselves to familiar faces.

Those are the main three fics, but there's also some bonus content, including a full-length prequel featuring many Final Fantasy characters from the KH universe (and some not). I adore that one fondly as well and content from it would be included in serialized delivery. (Current plan would be to deliver What's All Gone on Before between Betwixt and Between and Remnants, as that was original posting order.

6) are there any fics from others you reread all the time?

Oh yeah, for sure. There's Tailwind and its related series by my friend @mirrormystic. There's YWKON, started and mostly penned by my friend @rarmaster, with some additions from some other friends (including myself!). There's Bladework, by my friend @starcrossed-sky. There's this classic from you, Tea, that I find myself rereading a lot when I'm in the mood for some nostalgic comfort.

And there are a few fics written by people I don't know that I constantly reread, too. signal to noise, which, though unfinished, is perhaps the best TWEWY fic out there. Sinnatious' The Fifth Act, which is still one of the better FFVII fics out there, in my opinion. As N Approaches Infinity, the Madoka Magica/Bleach crossover I never knew I needed that blew my tits clean off. The Hours 'Verse, which I found before it had reached Persona 5 in content and have kept up with since. marigolds, which is perhaps my favourite Persona 5 fic of all time.

I could honestly probably keep going--I reread fics more than I read new fics--but those are the ones that immediately come to mind.

10) is there a fic that got a different response than you were expecting?

This question's a little difficult to parse, but the answer could be that there are several, all in different ways. Like--I never expected The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year to blow up as much as it did, even as I was writing it. It's still my most popular fic; I look at its stats sometimes and lose my mind over them. And I certainly never expected to get as much harassment and Um Actuallys in my Xenoblade fics as I have, lmao.

For the most part, I think I generally get the expected reaction from my fics? With maybe one or two small outliers who have a different takeaway from most. I'm honestly thankful that my intent and themes generally come through lol ;__;

Thanks for asking!! 4. How many WIPs do you have right now? Man, a lot? Probably upward of 8 or 9... 5. What’s a fic idea you’ve had that you will never write?

Mm... Oh come to think, I thought about writing a KH fic with Airy (Bravely Default) and Athena (FFXIV) and well. The setup to even get to that Epic Team-up alone would take so long I've had to give up on it. But a group of Final Fantasy villains to parallel the Disney villain group in KH1 is a really fun idea... 6. Are there any fics from others you reread all the time?

Well, you didn't specify fandoms so... a random three. I have to put Drich's Again on this list. Its probably one of my favorite time loop fics I've ever read, and if you like BOTW, you'll probably like this.

Spreading the fandom spread, Inheritors of Flame by Kyogre is some of the best Canon Divergent AU I've read. Its a VRMMO AU, but one that stays true to the source material in a way I've rarely seen.

I know this spreads the net even further, but Systems, Update by Vathara is great worldbuilding fic, that adds a delicious extra layer to the events of canon. I know its a fic for an anime very few people have watched, but it was good enough that I watched the anime week to week after that.

Finally, the Artificial Aegis Project by @rarmaster is very very good. Really just an amazing exploration of trauma and friendship in high stress environments. It was hard deciding on what part of this fic series to choose because nearly every segment is lodged in my brain somewhere.
