How beautiful was Shrimati Radharani?

Srimati Radharani is the supreme transcendental woman (na rādhikā samā nārī - ‘’There is no woman like Radharani’’- Padma Purana 5.77.52). All women of this world, whether earthly or heavenly, who may proudly consider themselves beautiful by material standards, partake of their minuscule beauty from Srimati Radharani.

Actually, Lord Krishna, famously known as Madana-Mohana, is more beautiful than the goddess of fortune- Sri Lakshmi Devi. However, Radharani is so beautiful that She enchants even Krishna, who attracts the goddess of fortune. Thus, Sri Radha is also known as Madana-Mohana Mohini.

In the words of Srila Prabhupada

The beauty of the goddess of fortune is secondary in the presence of the Lord. In the words of Vaiṣṇava poets, it is said that the Lord’s beauty is so enchanting that it defeats hundreds of thousands of Cupids. He is therefore called Madana-Mohana. It is also described that the Lord sometimes becomes mad after the beauty of Rādhārāṇī. Poets describe that under those circumstances, although Lord Kṛṣṇa is Madana-Mohana, He becomes Madana-dāha, or enchanted by the beauty of Rādhārāṇī.

Actually, the Lord’s beauty is superexcellent, surpassing even the beauty of Lakṣmī in Vaikuṇṭha. The devotees of the Lord in the Vaikuṇṭha planets want to see the Lord as the most beautiful, but the devotees in Gokula or Kṛṣṇaloka want to see Rādhārāṇī as more beautiful than Kṛṣṇa.

In his book Ujjvala-nīlamaṇi, Rūpa Gosvāmī explains the characteristics of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. He points out that the body of Rādhārāṇī is in itself an actual evolution of transcendental pleasure. That body is decorated with flowers and fragrant aromas and is complete with transcendental love for Kṛṣṇa. That is the personification of His pleasure potency. That transcendental body takes a bath three times: first in the water of mercy, second in the water of youthful beauty, and third in the water of youthful lustre. After taking a bath three times in that way, Her body is covered with shining garments and decorated with Kṛṣṇa's personal beauty, which is compared to cosmetics.

Thus Her beauty constitutes the highest artistry. Her body is also decorated with the ornaments of spiritual ecstasy—trembling tears, petrification, perspiration, choking, cessation of all bodily functions due to transcendental pleasure, stumbling, high blood pressure and madness.

ratim- gaurī-līle api tapati saundarya-kiraṇaiḥ śacī-lakṣmī-satyāḥ paribhavati saubhāgya-balanaiḥ

vaśī-kārais" candrāvalī-mukha-navīna-vraja-satīḥ kṣipaty ārād yā tam- hari-dayita-rādhām- bhaja manaḥ

O mind, please worship Lord Hari’s beloved Radha. With the splendour of Her beauty, She outshines even Rati, Gauri, and Lila. With the power of Her good fortune, She completely defeats Saci, Laksmi, and Satyabhama, and with Her ability to control Krsna, She completely eclipses Candravali and the other pious young girls of Vraja.- Manah Shiksha [10], Stavavali, Srila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami.

Vaishnava Acharyas describe that Srimati Radharani’s personal beauty is like the reddish powder known as kumkuma, Her affection for Her associates is like a sandalwood pulp, and the sweetness of Her smile is like camphor. All these, combined together, are smeared over Her body. The beauty of Srimati Radharani’s eyes forcibly devours the beauty of newly grown blue lotus flowers, and the beauty of Her face surpasses that of an entire forest of fully blossomed lotuses. Her bodily lustre seems to place even gold into a painful situation. Thus the wonderful, unprecedented beauty of Srimati Radharani eternally manifests in Vrindavana.

Let me conclude my answer with the following description from the book ‘’Nectar of Devotion’’

The beauty of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is described as follows: "Her eyes defeat the attractive features of the eyes of the cakorī bird. When one sees the face of Rādhārāṇī, he immediately hates the beauty of the moon. Her bodily complexion defeats the beauty of gold. Thus, let us all look upon the transcendental beauty of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī.

I’m very pleased to have donated an artwork to Artist Fundraiser auction, raising money Médecins Sans Frontières for their vital and urgent work in Gaza and the West Bank - medical aid which is so desperately needed at the moment. 

My contribution is a small wall based sculpture called Yourcodenameis:milo, 2022. It has layers of abstracted shapes and symbols covered in red dots which, when viewed from the front, resemble the pattern of markers for a facial recognition system

Leading voices from across the field of contemporary art join forces to raise funds for essential humanitarian aid for Palestine through an exhibition and major online art auction. Over 200 artworks have been donated, spanning the disciplines of art, engineering and literature. All proceeds will go towards the work of Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) UK in Gaza and the West Bank

Lembranças saudosas para o meu eu, querido José Luiz, você lembra na sua infância, quando você adorava suas fitas de videocassete e tinha um monte delas em casa e ficava assistindo vários filmes por horas, ícones como matilda, Convenções das bruxas, Gasparzinho, A casa da colina, Aranhas malditas, Pokemon, você lembra também que você adorava gravar o que passava no canal Rede minas lembra de um dia que estava gravando Dango Balango e castelo ratim bum e nesse dia deu uma chuva forte, lembra que você adorava as as novelas teen rebelde, e os mutantes caminhos do coração, adorava assistir todo mundo odeia o cris é pica pau, lembra também que adorava colecionar figurinhas do RBD Pokémon e os mutantes comprava elas na padaria do ronildo e em um barzinho do pai do Renatinho, lembra quando assistia pokemon no TV Kids e todos os perrengues para se conseguir uma imagem boa na tv de tubo, lembra de um dia de chuva que você queria colocar um card da Roberta na praia pra ir pela correnteza, lembra de quando você queria ter as figurinhas da Roberta que a Josiane tinha e você pegou o celular da sua mãe e tirou as fotos de todas elas, lembra também que você pegava o celular da sua mãe escondido para fotografar e gravar a tela da Tv, e como esquecer de quando eu ficava sozinho em casa com meu irmão e fazíamos pipoca de microondas e um dia quase botei fogo na casa, e mais tarde ficava acordado morrendo de medo esperando minha mãe chegar da escola fazendo de tudo pro meu irmão não pegar no sono ficava assistindo uma escolinha muito louca com Sidnei Magal, e quando a gente dormia na casa da vovó e eu ficava lendo os gibis da turma da Mônica saudades da vovó mirtes, e nos dias quentes que minha mãe deixava a casa bem limpinha e dormia com a gente no nosso quarto lembro me dê um dia específico que meu pai trabalhava fora e ficava dias fora ficava mos só nós 3 em um dia tava passando Smallville na tv, tenho várias lembranças com as músicas do rasta chinela é de como meus pais eram felizes nessa época,

RATIM Day-shift Mechanics

Compared to the night shift, my day-shift mechanics feel a bit undercooked and this is subject to change in the future, but this is what I have so far!

After every night shift is a day shift where the player will play as Leon. The day shift works as a free roam instead of sitting at a desk like in a usual FNAF game. For the first week of the game, the player will be tasked to search around the three floors of the restaurant to find the missing animatronic. During these times, there will be no threat posed to the player, but there will be lore lurking around the building that might unlock some endings or playing experiences (hint hint nudge nudge). The animatronic that goes missing that day will be an add-on to the next night's crew and the gameplay will get more difficult. In the second week, however, the gameplay will change and get more challenging.

In the second week, you as the player are given a similar task of having to find specific items hidden around the restaurant. You're given an indefinite amount of time to find them and you won't be able to advance until all the items have been found. Much like the first week, there's more lore to uncover. However, the player isn't given a flash beacon like they are in the night shift, so how would they protect themselves against the animatronics that are now wandering around the building? Players now have a wider variety of escape techniques at their disposal, though they have their risks.

Hiding is the safest option, though if the animatronic sees you hide, they will find you immediately. Some other options the player has are to trigger the alarms set up around the building. Doing so will stun Rupert since she's sound-sensitive and will also mask the sound of Leon's footsteps, making it harder for other animatronics to hear you moving around. However, this can only be used twice in one night before the alarms realize that they're being tampered with an will have to be reset manually for the next day. Another option is to throw objects at animatronics to block their path temporarily and buy yourself more time. The final option is to actually hit the animatronic with an object, but you can only hit a specific animatronic once a night to avoid damaging them. They might be trying to kill you, but you could get in trouble for causing thousands of dollars worth of damage!

This is all I have so far for the day-shift and I'll need to flesh it out eventually. Updates will be soon to come.

O Mind, I grasp your feet and beg you with sweet words: Please cast away all hypocrisy and develop intense, unprecedented love for my spiritual master, Vrajabhumi, the people of Vraja, the Vaisnavas, the brahmanas, the Gayatri mantra, the holy name, and the transcendental shelter that is the fresh young couple of Vraja, Radha and Krsna.

Text 2 na dharmam nadharmam sruti-gana-niruktam kila kuru vraje radha-krsna-pracura-paricaryam iha tanuh saci-sunum nandisvara-pati-sutatve guru-varam mukunda-presthatve smara padam ajasram nanu manah

O Mind, don’t concern yourself with the pious and impious deeds described in the Vedas. Rather, intently serve Sri Sri Radha-Krsna in Vraja. Always remember that Lord Caitanya is the son of Maharaja Nanda and that my guru is most dear to Lord Mukunda.

O Mind, just listen to me! If you desire to reside in Vraja birth after birth, and if you desire to directly serve the divine youthful couple there with great attraction, then with intense love always remember and bow down to Srila Svarupa Damodara Gosvami; to Srila Rupa Gosvami and his elder brother, Srila Sanatana Gosvami; and to all their associates and followers.

O Mind, give up friendship with nondevotees, which is nothing but a prostitute who will steal the treasure of your heart–your desire to serve Radha-Krsna. Don’t listen to talks of impersonal liberation, which are a tigress who devours everyone. You should even give up attraction for Lord Narayana, which leads to the world of Vaikuntha. Instead, O mind, just worship Sri Sri Radha-Krsna in Vraja, for They bestow upon their worshipers the jewel of pure love for Themselves.

O Mind, why do you burn us both by bathing in the urine trickling from the ass of great deviousness and hypocrisy? Instead, you should delight us by eternally bathing in the glistening nectar-ocean of pure love for Sri Sri Gandharva-Giridhari (Sri Sri Radha-Krsna).

as long as the impudent untouchable woman of the desire for fame dances in my heart, why should pure love for Radha-Krsna touch me? O mind, continuously serve my spiritual master, the leader of those who are dear to the Lord. Then my master will quickly kick out that harridan and allow that pure love to enter.

Text 8 yatha dustatvam me darayati sathasyapi krpaya yatha mahyam premamrtam api dadaty ujjvalam asau atha sri-gandharva-bhajana-vidhaye prerayati mam tatha gosthe kakva giridharam iha tvam bhaja manah

So That He will mercifully smash my wickedness (even though I am a great rascal), so that He will give me the splendid nectar of transcendental love, and so He will engage me in Sri Radha’s service, please, O mind, with words choked with emotion, worship Lord Giridhari here in Vraja.

Text 9 mad-isa-nathatve vraja-vipina-candram vraja-vane- svarim tan-nathatve tad-atula-sakhitve tu lalitam visakham siksali-vitarana-gurutve priya-saro- girindrau tat-preksa-lalita-rati-datve smara manah

O Mind, please meditate on Krsna, the moon of Vraja forest, as the Lord of my controller, Srimati Radharani. And please meditate upon Srimati Radharani, the queen of Vraja forest, as Krsna’s controller. Also please meditate upon Lalita as the peerless friend of Radha and Krsna, Visakha as the guru who teaches Them many things, and Radha-kunda and Govardhana Hill as two places the mere sight of which bestows charming transcendental love for the divine couple.

Text 10 ratim gauri-lile api tapati saundarya-kiranaih saci-laksmi-satyah paribhavati saubhagya-balanaih vasi-karais candravali-mukha-navina-vraja-satih ksipaty arad ya tam hari-dayita-radham bhaja manah

O Mind, please worship Lord Hari’s beloved Radha. with the splendor of Her beauty She makes Rati, Gauri, and Lila burn with envy, with the power of Her good fortune She defeats Saci, Laksmi, and Satyabhama, and with Her ability to control Krsna She completely eclipses Candravali and the other pious young girls of Vraja.

Text 11 samam sri-rupena smara-vivasa-radha-giribhrtor vraje saksat-seva-labhana-vidhaye tad-gana-yujoh tad-ijyakhya-dhyana-sravana-nati-païcamrtam idam dhayan nitya govardhanam anudinam tvam bhaja manah

O Mind, in order to attain the direct service of the two divine lovers, Sri Sri Radha-Giridhari, in the company of Their friends, every day you must constantly drink, with Sri Rupa Gosvami, the five nectars of worshiping Them, chanting Their names, meditating on Them, hearing about Them, and bowing down before Them, and every day you must worship Govardhana Hill.

Text 12 manah-siksa-daikadasaka-varam etam madhuraya gira gayaty uccaih samadhi-gata-sarvartha-tati yah sa-yuthah sri-rupanuga iha bhavan gokula-vane jano radha-krsnatula-bhajana-ratnam sa labhate

These eleven excellent instructions to the mind grant all spiritual benedictions. A person who stays with the devotees, follows Srila Rupa Gosvami, and with a sweet voice loudly sings these eleven verses will attain the matchless jewel of direct service to Sri Sri Radha-Krsna in the forest of Gokula

In this chapter Suta Gosvami begins his reply, and what is striking is his outline of entire process for gaining the loving service (bhakti), complete satisfaction (prasidati) and for being reclaimed by the Lord. It starts with arranging all of one's life activities in a way so that they provoke attraction (ratim) to the Lord, and materially - desiring only a healthy life. Qualification to hear comes from serving a pure devotee. And we hear - bhakti comes from his heart. When we joyfully (muda) act on this love, no question of modes remain, and the Lord comes and gets us. 

The verse which "clicked" is 1.2.32

yathā hy avahito vahnir  dāruṣv ekaḥ sva-yoniṣu nāneva bhāti viśvātmā  bhūteṣu ca tathā pumān

“The Lord, as Supersoul, pervades all things, just as fire permeates wood, and so He appears to be of many varieties, though He is the absolute one without a second”

This verse, probably because of my need to be connected with Him - to see a reason behind all the activities. And the fact that he is everywhere makes everything a reminder of Him, an inspiration to connect, just as an object, which belongs or came from the beloved, is very dear to one yearning to meet him again.

(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast) Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful) وَلَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا وَلَدَيْنَا كِتَٰبٌ يَنطِقُ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ 62  بَلْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍ مِّنْ هَٰذَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْمَٰلٌ مِّندُونِ ذَٰلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَٰمِلُونَ 63 62.  And We task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged. 63.  Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur’aan), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing. 62.  Wa  laa  Nukallifu  nafsan  ‘illaa  wus-‘ahaa  wa  ladayNaa  Kitaabuny-yantiqu  bil-haqqi  wa  hum  laa  yuzlamuun. 63.  Bal  quluubuhum  fii  gam-ratim-min  haazaa  wa  lahum  ‘a’-maalum-min-  duuni  zaalika  hum  lahaa  ‘aamiluun. Commentary It became manifest clearly in the previous verses that wealth and property, descendants and luxurious things of the world are not such things due to which the mankind is overjoyed and begin to consider that “I have been provided all things. It is great grace of Allaah Almighty that He gave me entire good things. And now whatever I demand by means of them, He provides me immediately”. These all are vain imaginations. The person, who considers so, is immature. This entire is a means of his examination. Actual praiseworthy thing is – having belief in Allaah Almighty, ascribing not any partner unto Him, having fear of Allaah Almighty in the heart even after doing good work that “I don’t know what will happen after presence before Him”. These are the qualities which should be considered in fact good. It is commanded: Every individual can produce these habits into oneself easily. We have not tasked any soul as such which may be beyond its scope. Deeds of every mankind are recorded with Us in a Roll. On the Day of Resurrection, that Roll will keep the deeds of every person opened before him/her correctly. None will be wronged. Reward of good works and punishment of evil deeds will be given properly. But alas! The people, who have been entangled in the worldly works, are careless from these matters. This ignorance is their greatest sin. Due to it, many other sins are committed by them, which become themselves a permanent crime. The sinners will have to suffer from retribution of such all sins.
