After Janus and Patton get together, Janus will often pull things out of Patton's ear (while using a cheesy pick up line) as a reminder of the butterfinger thing. One day, he pulls out a small circular golden object of Patton's ear and gives it to him. Patton chuckles, believing it to be another coin. Turns out it's a gold ring. Patton turns around to see Janus on his knee. "Hopefully, he will be a better husband than boyfriend," he says. Patton smiles and says: "I hope so too."
