how would the ro's react (crushing stage) to mc talking very highly of them to friends/family on the phone when they think the ro's can't hear them? 👀

Beck: would be super energized/hyped up by it. Like--what a huge confidence boost!! The person they have a crush on has been talking them up!! They'd honestly be kind of smug about it lol. Honestly they might end up blurting something out that gives away that they heard.

Croft: would be very uncomfortable. It feels wrong to eavesdrop, even unintentionally. Especially when they're the subject being talked about. Secretly they'd be flattered, but that would be minor compared to the discomfort.

Jay: they'd be supper flattered, and also slightly embarrassed. At the same time, they'd feel more confident knowing how the MC feels about them. Probably would confess their feelings much sooner than they would have otherwise because of it.

Perri: they'd be both EXTREMELY embarrassed and also very guilty. Chances are a few days later they'd blurt out a confession to MC, telling them that they heard everything and apologizing profusely. They'd be too anxious about it all to even feel happy about it.

Ravi: oh he'd be extremely smug about it. Would probably drop hints later on about what he heard, but always with plausible deniability. Enough that MC could suspect he knows, but never enough for them to be sure. He'd be very happy about it, too.

Yasmin: she'd also tell MC, but she'd do so by teasing them about it. She'd be very upfront--"If you like me so much, why don't we do something about it?" She'd be thrilled and would hope that the confession moves their relationship along even faster.
