Ravio sleeping headcanons?

This somehow turned from Ravio sleeping headcanons into raviolink sleeping headcanons, oops.

While falling asleep, he doesn’t stop moving, trying to find the perfect sleeping position. He falls asleep very quickly once he found it, but he doesn’t move and he doesn’t make a single sound, Link thought he died the first time he saw him and panicked a little, Link know better now, but can’t stop himself from checking if he is breathing, especially after he had a nightmare.

He usually end up sleeping on his stomach, or more rarely, on his side, it make him feel less exposed, he also has more trouble breathing while laying on his back.

If he want to nap, he will usual do it on the floor, force of habit, he used to sleep on the floor too until Link made him use the bed, it took him a while to get used to a soft surface to sleep on, now he doesn’t want to get out of bed.

Somehow, Ravio and Link always end up tangled up together in the morning. No matter what position they fell asleep in they will wake up cuddling.

While napping, he is a very light sleeper, getting woken up from the smallest noises, but while sleeping barely anything will wake him up, this confuses both him and Link because he was never a deep sleeper while living in Lorule.

Ravio used to have lots of nightmares during albw, and a few months after, passing from a life full of danger at any corner with the fear of not finding food, water or shelter to an relatively safe life where he didn’t have to worry about anything but his shop, was quite the shock, add to that the anxiety of his world dying and possibly getting taking Hyrule (and Link!) with it wasn’t good for his sleep cycles. He only has them on especially stressful nights now.

im thinking about the fucking twins again. i think they're telepathic. they can create and break connections to be able to talk to each other without having to be together.

the connection breaks every time ledge goes through a portal so he has to constantly fix it. it freaks fable out if it breaks mid conversation

Oh I love this ask. I’ve been binge watching. Here’s my recs:

Season 5 episodes 1 and 2 “La Galleria 33” parts 1 and 2. owners are a pair of sisters who are honestly fucking hilarious and he revisits them later and they do turn things around for the better so that makes watching even more satisfying for me. This is the episode with that famous waitress recommending the ravioli that’s terrible on purpose and smiling when asked why

Season 1 episode 15 “Black Pearl”. One of the most insufferable bastards of an owner on the whole show

Season 2 episode 2 “Flamangos” Gordon hates these guys decor so much he sets all of it on fire

Season 2 episode 12 “Sushi Ko” this one is more heartfelt. Owner is genuinely a good guy and good father he’s just very tired and needs help

Season 3 episode 12 “Capri” owners are a pair of goofy twins. Pretty fun episode

Season 3 episode 13 “Zeke’s” I hated these owners a lot lmao they bought a locally beloved restaurant after the previous owner Zeke died and then made it cheap and shitty and the whole staff hates them

Season 4 episode 15 “Cafe Hon” this owner fucking trademarked the word “hon” in Baltimore and would send cease and desist letters to anyone else trying to use the word “hon” so the community absolutely HATEDDDD her and Gordon interviews them. Very juicy

so to set the scene the au takes place thru like 2013-2025, first jaeger was released in 2015.

alden's mostly funded the program and he n quinlin were training to be the first copilots(cognate bonds as neural handshakes what who said that!!) but when the push comes to shove he backs out and changes things irreparably between him n quinlin !!

so who become the first pilots? well. his newly 18 year old son (alvar)and ruy. except ruy dies in 2017 and fitz is pushed into his place in 2018 being problematically young at like 15-16 !!!

this is where shit goes down so im putting the rest under the cut bc its lengthy 💨

alvar and fitz are copilots between 2018-2022 until fitz finds out that alvar's been caught up in some illegal smuggling shit and breaches his trust . forever . cuz that was his brother and they drifted together and shouldn't he have known ??

so now we have fitz whos lost his idealism and a record of severing drift compatibility :)

the years get blurry around here but first theres keefe, his best friend, where they always promised to copilot together . but fitz can't get over the lingering idolization of alvar in keefe's mind so they have a very messy separation

there's sophie, but she doesn't last very long after fitz finds out she's been training with biana (who he was drift compatible with! but there was no way in hell he was letting her fight)

and then theres linh. she and tam were copilots before her brother 'retired' and they had a falling out. she was reassigned with fitz and for the most part it goes rlly well!! theyre friends and there arent trust issues lying around

until she gets injured after a kaiju attack where she would've died if fitz hadnt pulled them out. but now she's out of commission. which brings us to tam.

tam doesn't like fitz at first. his impression was that fitz was some priveleged glory seeking asshole who couldn't hold a partner (which in his defense was also largely public opinion). but then he sees how much fitz cares abt linhs well being and what have you . he kinda respects the guy.

basically. endgame titz

havent fleshed out much after this point but additional tidbits!!!!

fitz's first jaegar w alvar is called '(the?) jupiter'

eventually sophianas jaegar is 'the radiant'

dex is a scientist (dr newt core). tho at some point he does drift with keefe

the gangs ages!! fitz is an 03, keefe 04, sophie n biana 05, while the twins are somewhere between fitz and keefe

ruy was picked up 'off the streets' by the government, joined cuz they gave him food and a place to sleep. and he died for it !! which made alvar super bitter after . ravioli is canon in this house . or well. was!

i'm still in the process of figuring that out, but the ones i have are:

laval + li'ella: lucian, landyn, lux worriz + deceased: wynn eris + rogon (adopted): emory gorzan (adopted): gael crooler + unknown: crescent, caesar reegull (adopted): ravioli

i do want it to be stated that most of the pairings for nextgen aren't my preferred ships; just the ones i think follow canon the most. if i did a maverickverse nextgen, then it would be very different lol

cragger is missing from that list, but he's very involved in the lavella kids' lives. he's a close uncle because he and laval are inseparable. and while he has no kids of his own, he's married to another crocodile (that i'm still developing).

the important kids are: lucian, wynn, ravioli, gael, and emory (+ maybe crooler's twins?)

most of this is in collaboration with my friend, @koraydon, but they aren't active on tumblr very much, so it's mostly me talking about the characters i've made.

but here's ravioli! i'll make a separate post about her in the future (+ the other important kids, once i design them.) she's a white raven and a bit of an outcast within her tribe because she doesn't believe in stealing and thievery (the blasphemy!)

and these are crooler's twins; huge troublemakers, of course; have you seen their mother?? they're both 11 yrs old and stereotypical maniac twins.

eventually i'll also post voice claims for each of the nextgen characters. nextgen has been in hibernation since last march, so most of this stuff is being made up on the spot lol

What are the twins favourite gifts? I'm a believer of Ingo loving sweet things and Emmet loving bitter/spicy but some believe its the otherway around. Which way aroused do you believe in?

Ingo appreciates sweets and Emmet is a bitter man in this mod. We haven't really focused too much on food preferences (especially given how opinions are split regarding the subject) so there's only a few items sorted onto their gift lists.

We split the coffee items between the two; so Ingo likes the regular Coffee item (heavilly sugared and creamed, of course) while Emmet likes the Triple Shot Expresso (which is being interpreted as a super bitter and potent dark roast).

As for full gift lists, here's what we have as of now:

Rupee and Ravio headcanons?

Ravio found Rupee stuck in a trap, Link agreed to keep her until she could be release back in the wild, he told Ravio not to get attached and name her, Ravio already found a name and got attached by the time Link finished his sentence.

They had to postpone the released date many time, because Rupee kept faking injuries to stay, clever girl, Ravio used this as an argument as to why they should keep her, Link agreed on the condition that it’s Ravio’s responsibility

Ravio caught Link asleep in a chair with Rupee in his laps, they shared responsibility after that

They only realised that Rupee was a blupee when she accidentally let her disguise slip after a particularly relaxing petting session.

While Ravio think he is the lucky one to have Rupee, she think she is the lucky one to have being taken in by two being who not only are descendants of goddesses but are also blessed by one of the golden three.

Rupee is the reason Ravio had to lower his prices, because Link doesn’t see the point in having such high prices when they have a literally money maker right there

Rupee sleep in their room because Link is scared of the dark, so she act as a night light.

If Ravio or Link is not holding her, Rupee just follow them around, this mean Link has to hold her so she doesn’t wander in the shop and get squished or stolen by the customers.

fable usually messes with legends hair to help him fall asleep. ravio probably does it too once they get together.

because of this, he has trouble sleeping around the chain because he doesn't want to ask them to do that, it would be embarrassing.

Mary makes a scrumptious ravioli lunch and Candy awkwardly brings up the fact that she’s pregnant with Rich’s baby and had Junior’s before that.

This is so sweet Mary, we’re like womb sisters. Which one impregnated you? I know you’re married to Junior but marriage doesn’t seem to mean that much to these two guys, tee hee!

Lana and Rich hate each other and won’t sleep in the same bed anymore. It got annoying to deal with on top of having to take care of toddlers and pregnant sims, and I don’t have any room for a guest room or dressing room for one of them to sleep in so I gave them twin beds.
