Sovngarde!
Sovngarde - How would your Last Dragonborn celebrate after the battle with Alduin, or would they celebrate at all?
Oooh okay okay okay this is a fun question.
So like for Dreveni I actually wrote a whole thing about her processing it, because yeah, it was more uncomfortable than anything. She probably does a bit of lip-service to partying with her adventuring companions, but then I think she takes maybe a week or two off from her duties to kinda let it sink in.
And a few days ago I started a new playthrough with an orc named Gorz gru-Ghol (I am a little behind on introducing OCs; forgive me), who I'm pretty sure will have a different reaction, but I'm not sure exactly what it'll look like. From about age ten they were raised with Traditional Orcish Values (Code of Malacath, etc.), so they definitely rejoice in the glory of combat (sorry, wrong game), and defeating a dragon god is obviously a big deal. Honestly, that will probably be the reigning sentiment, and they might go back to Dushnikh Yal to brag and party. But on the other hand, I think their arc will be about reconciling their confusion over the balance between the life they were going to have (being a city-dwelling Imperial Citizen before their parents died in the Great War), vs. the life they have actually had (as a stronghold Orc), and...frankly, I don't even know yet what they're going to figure out. So my guess as to the outcome might change!

@sasslett Hi and thank you! I picked the drabble option and wrote a little thing about learning to love your old self. :) (prompt source)
---
"Foolish" was what she called it looking back, when she was around fifteen. In the face of the Red Year, a seven-year-old with a children's alchemy set could not have made any meaningful contributions with her watery, chunky health potions, she thought. The adults in Dreveni's life never made such claims, though. No, her mother, her great-grandmother, even Vivec regarded her potions with the same gravity as the Temple healers' skills. And two, five, ten decades later, Dreveni came to agree that her teenage self was the foolish one. She had a child's unwavering compassion. How could she disparage that?

Day 9
Nayli (she/them)
-Child of Hephaestus
-15 y/o
-Malaysian
-Always on that grind!
-You can always find her at the forge
-She always got soot everywhere, even when she tries her hardest to stay clean
-Slightly invulnerable to fire and heat
-Its hella funny when she's just lounging in her cabin without her hijab with her siblings, and some other camper come barging in without notice. She runs faster than the Hermes kids.

Go and Hachi for any of your OC f/os that are on your mind?
Go: Explain (or show) the aesthetic of this ship
the aesthetic of karchess and my self insert marigold is one of old timey japan, with ancient gods and samurai's and stuff like that. karchess is a stoic samurai lured in at sunset by an ethereal beauty, fanning themselves as they drape elegantly across a cushion, burning incense and candles to mask the scent of the night to follow. secrecy, dishonor, and betrayal; not to each other, but to whom they answer to in favor of their partner. a shrine awaits a prayer it never receives from a man who has forsaken god for a fallen angel.
nowadays, being immortal husbands, they have a quaint domestic aesthetic, with a cottagecore marigold covered in paint as he creates a mural for the school his husband teaches at. karchess shows his old samurai sword to his history class and gets a little too worked up when recalling the past. shared kisses as they walk past each other in the halls, paint from marigold's fingers booped onto karchess's nose, freshly baked goods in the teachers lounge made by a husband who can't seem to let his lover be at work by himself.
Hachi: What scenario is your favorite to imagine with them
for razak and my self insert ezra, i always think of their soft moments they share. razak loves what makes ezra different, his hair, so he spends hours brushing and braiding it. i love imagining that. it's such a soft little act from the goddamn dark lord that just so happens to have a soft spot for his butler. also, cleaning him up after feeding from him (vampire coded... drinks blood to survive). it doesn't happen often but when it does it's nice. letting his lover pass out in his arms and wrapping his wounds for him until he wakes up in bed, a nice pleasant surprise.
for metronice and my self inserts beebs and albi (most unserious names ever) i also fall hard for the kind acts from my bf. i'm in a soft mood rn i guess, lol. nice is beebs's boyfriend and albi is beebs's brother that has a huge crush on nice, for context. i love thinking about nice being there for their entire family and just... being a good supportive boyfriend that helps them through tough shit. always there for them during family drama and stuff. beebs has a little brother (not albi, he's older) that nice gets along with really well and i just love imagining that cute kinda family dynamic. and albi is a little more angsty since he's in that unrequited love situation. but nice still is, well, nice to him, and i wrote a fic once where he helped albi communicate through a health incident when he was upset and i guess that's my fav. disability sona from before i even knew i was disabled, lol, so a lot of content of them is just caretaker nice hehe self indulgent

Friend Ray what are any/all of your OCs' favorite foods? Or what do they eat on a regular basis? Does your Hero Family have any family recipes that get passed down all the way from a Vestige to an LDB or anything?
Razak I am ecstatic that you asked this thank you so much!!
Esra's family were rotmeth brewers and traditional Bosmer cheesemakers before they were killed and their home destroyed so Esra knows the family recipe and wants to open her own place in honor of her family and everyone she's lost over the years - a pay-what-you-can inn where you're guaranteed at least food and drink, and a bed if one's available. As a Bosmer, food is culturally very important to her, even moreso because she was homeless for her late teen years and early adulthood. Her favorite dish is thunderbug organs that are stewed for hours in a flavorful seafood broth with mushrooms (she's one of the mushrooms aren't plants types). The organs become tender and take on the flavor of the broth, while also retaining the flavor of the meat itself, which is spicy (not in terms of heat but that it tastes Spiced) because it is the organ that produces electricity.
Unfortunately none of the family's recipes make it to Merielle because her grandmother - the only relative she knows who would know any - is Sheogorath and has only vague memories of her mortal life.
The Flamels have a more well documented family history, being a notable Breton family of mages (and later merchants), that does include recipes both alchemical and culinary - thanks to one odd generation where a sibling became a chef to the King of Wayrest. As one might expect from Bretons, a great number of recipes for different types of bread, but the most surprisingly beloved was a fresh herb-coated spring lamb with wilted wild greens (spinach, wild garlic and chicory). Breton chefs have a tendency to be the most unusual in Tamriel in order to impress whatever petty royalty lives nearest them, and yet this simple dish so impressed the king that the Flamel who served it wrote the castle's cookbook - which is most assuredly lost to time.
Elis does most of the cooking both in her childhood and as an adult with her partners and children - she's quite good with pastries both sweet and savory.
Daghmar and Runa and Nord women of simple life and simple tastes - Both are from the colder, more Northern parts of Skyrim and have a taste for horker meat - not common or popular in the southern parts of the region - but the fattiness helps in the cold. Runa makes a pretty good stew with carrot, turnip, potato and horker meat - that with some dense lard bread is Daghmar's favorite (She'll never admit to it but she also loves snowberry tarts.) Runa herself prefers roast goat with a simple vegetable medley - and both love fish stew.
Theodora, growing up the way she did, has a taste for both Redguard and Imperial cuisine but her mother, as an ambassador, never did much cooking herself and neither does Dora. Once she's out on her own adventuring, she does seek out Redguard chefs to find more traditional meals she missed out on growing up. She likes the heavy spice and vegetables and grains that are unique to Hammerfell - Imperial cuisine can be found all over.
All of my characters who have been food-insecure are very serious about it - they don't let anything go to waste and are more thoughtful about what they're eating. Curie for example, who was an orphan and had to steal to eat, lives long enough to see Summerset before she fully mantles Sheogorath and is appalled at the waste she sees (and many aspects of Altmer culture actually).
Nireve is overjoyed when she gets to go to Solstheim and taste actual dunmer food again. Prior to that she frequents the New Gnisis, but the ingredients for traditional foods just aren't available in Windhelm. (She brings back what she can for Rendar and Ambarys).

((Malaysia OC)) Hetalia
Country Name: Malaysia
Human Name: Muhammad Amir Bin Arish
((EXPLANATION))
(( In Malaysia, the official religion for the country is Sunni Islam, however, the country does allow freedom of religion. The name ‘Muhammad’ is a very common name for muslim men and is also the name of the Last Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, who is a very respected and important figure in Islam.
'Amir’ means 'commander of prince’. It fits Malaysia’s personality in becoming a leader to lead his people to success and his country to strive forward.
'Bin’ means 'son of’ which is for muslim men while 'Binti’ which is 'daughter of’ is for muslim women.
'Arish’ means 'brave soldier’. I chose it specifically for a meaning that defines Malaysia himself. His national animal is the Malayan Tiger, where tigers are symbols of courage in Asia. The colour red in the flag of Malaysia called 'Jalur Gemilang’, symbolises courage. The two tigers in his 'Coat of Arms’ also represents courage and strength in his country))
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Official Religion: Islam (Sunni)
Birthday: August 31st 1957 (Declared independence from Britain)
Height: 5'1 ft
Weight: 9 st
Location:
Located in the continent of Asia, Malaysia is  located south of Thailand and covers 328, 657 square kilometers of land and 1,190 square kilometers of water
Capital City: Kuala Lumpur
Political Leader: Prime Minister Najib Razak (since 2009)
Official Language: Malay
Other Languages: Most Malaysian Chinese uses Mandarin while Malaysian Indians uses Tamil
National Animal: The Malayan Tiger
National Flower: Hibiscus
Human Age: 19
Appearance: Malaysia has a tan skin and a bit chubby. He has short black hair with a twin ahoge, representing the Petronas Twin Tower in his capital city, Kuala Lumpur. He wears the uniform for the Royal Malay Regiment, embodying the Malay national dress. He wears a cap called a 'kopiah’ which is important for many muslims in Malaysia. Underneath the clothing, he actually has a scar on his body which was made during his time under the ruling of Japan.
Personality and Interest:
Malaysia is a fairly laid-back and relaxed person. He enjoys taking siestas whenever he has free time and hang out with friends at 'mamak stalls’. However, that does not mean he cannot be strict. In his country, he does practice the sharia law but it only applies to Muslims. He can get a bit too lazy and procrastinate a lot in his work but he always makes sure that he gets everything done in time. He is kind towards children but never forgets to remind them to always respect their elders. He rarely gets angry but when he does it is built up anger so the results are not pretty.
He does not work out often but is able to enjoy sports such as badminton, football, field hockey, squash and many more. He can get a bit carried away with his rivalry with his neighbouring countries namely Indonesia and Thailand. Malaysia likes to dream big and wishes that one day his country becomes developed. He very much treasure the friendships he has with many other countries and would lend a hand if they need help. He loves sweet and spicy food. His favourite beverages would be either 'teh tarik’ or 'milo’.
History:
In 2000 B.C., Maritime trade links are established between India and Southeast Asia. Hindu and Buddha begin to spread throughout the region by Ksyatria, Brahmin and Vaisyha where only interesting aspects are adapted by the locals.
In the A.D. 1-99, the Kingdom of Funan is established in the lower Mekong Delta.
By the year of 200, Langsuka, one of the first Hindu-Malay kingdom, is established around the area known as Kedah. It lasts in one form or another until the 15th century.
In the year 600, from southern Sumatra, around Palembang, for six centuries the Buddhist Srivijaya Empire dominates Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Borneo.
By the year of 1000, the religion of Islam spreads throughout the region with the arrival of Arab merchants where locals were impressed by how trusting the merchants are and decided to adopt the new religion.
In the year of 1402, Parameswara, a king of Singapore, had went to search an area to build his new kingdom. He was resting under a tree when he saw his dog chasing a mouse deer. Then, he saw how the mouse deer outsmarted the dog and his dog fell into the river. He thought to himself how wonderful the area us as even the animals there are brave. And so, he had established the kingdom of Malacca, named after the tree he had rested under. At that faithful moment, Malacca was found sleeping under the tree peacefully, much to the surprise of Parameswara. Malacca was then adopted by Parameswara as his own son. After 5 years of that event, Parameswara marries an Islamic princess and adopts the Persian title Iskandar Shah.
In 1442 until 1445, the Malacca ruler adopts Islam and takes the title of Sultan. After this, it was the golden era of the Sultanate of Malacca.
In 1511, the Portuguese had seize control of Malacca which was at the start of the Industrial Revolution. The Sultanate of Malacca fell and lost much of his memories in the process.
In 1641, the Dutch had waged war against the Portuguese for the control of Malacca and won. This was the longest period that Malacca was under foreign control.
In 1826, the British decided to have an agreement on the trade of Sumatra for Malacca with the Dutch. For a long time, Malacca and his people had tried to fight back for control but were unsuccessful.
Many events had happened during under Britain’s ruling, such as the introduction of rubber tree from Brazil, Kew Gardens and Ceylon. Both Sarawak and Sabah becoming British protectorates, the creation of Federated Malay States which includes Selangor, Perak, Pahang and Negeri Sembilan. The Unfederated Malay States were formed which included Kedah, Johor, Terengganu, Kedah, Kelantan and Perlis. There have also been a rise of communists in the country due to the introduction of the Malay Communist Party whom main goal is to get rid of the British through any means necessary even through radical means. Malacca grew and was named Malaya instead after all of the states in the Peninsular of Malaysia.
Japan then came along and used a propaganda in trying to give independence to countries in Southeast Asia that has been conquered. Their slogan was 'Asia is for Asians’.
The year was 1941, Japan had instead invaded Malaya and shortly after Singapore. Both Britain and Malaya tried their best to stop the Sun Rising country but lost and Britain had to surrender. Many people in the country were killed mercilessly by the Japanese soldiers. Already killed Malay soldiers were stabbed until they were nothing but mushed meat, buildings were burned down and the women were taken from their homes as pleasuring tools for the Japanese. It was utter chaos as Japan ruled over the country with such ruthless behaviour.
In the year 1945, two atom bombs were dropped by the United States as an effort to stop the ongoing war on both Hiroshima and Nagasaki which forced Japan to surrender. After two weeks where no one was in charge, the country was instead ran rampant by the communists who were in hiding, Britain came back and reoccupied Borneo, Malaya and Singapore. The Federation of Malaya had replaced the older Malayan Union and so on.
Finally, in the year 1957, Malaya gained his independence from Britain and having his first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman who helped the ethnic groups in the country to work together. Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore had agreed to join Malaya to become one country known as Malaysia. Brunei was considering to but turned down the offer at the last minute due to the differences in the systems in ruling in the two countries with Malaysia being democracy and Brunei being monarchy.
After just two years however, Singapore was kicked out of Malaysia due to the racial tensions and became an independent country.
((OH GOD THAT WAS SO LONG. I apologise for any grammar errors and mistakes. I will continue to check for any flaws, thank you thank you thank you so much if you were to review this. Please do have a lovely day))
Okay, this looks incredible. The history is great, and I'm in love with how much research you did! I'm so proud of you, fam! I saw that you submitted your OC's relations, so I'll look at those in a minute.
