Thoughts on JJK chapter 260 (spoilers)
Tumblr media
We get to see what Todo had hidden under his bandages and the reveal is both underwhelming because of its simplicity and absurdity (never heard of a vibraslap before in my life) and it's overwhelming because of the sheer mileage and fighting skill Todo can pull out of it.
Typical Gege move on that part. Take one CT and go into the nitty-gritty of its abilities even if it looks silly sometimes.
The vibraslap changes Todo's ability from clapping to making that sound that swaps people. The biggest change? He can now swap things about 50 times in a single second.
Tumblr media
This is the current fighting gang being swapped around in that second and I'm sure anyone else would throw up when subjected to that.
For reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with the end of the chapter, I've only now realized that Todo can swap Gojo too. He wouldn't be able to do anything against infinity though.
Just the same as when they tag teamed against Hanami and Mahito, those two Brothers™ are now going against Sukuna as well and Sukuna knows how bothersome and nearly impossible it is to fight effectively against (Re-)Boogie Woogie and he says himself that Todo came at an inopportune time.
The narrator says that Todo successfully transported the others out of MS so the question of Maki getting out is basically answered. She'll probably make a comment on that later on when she suddenly stabs Sukuna from the back again
Tumblr media
The animators are going to have their hands full with this part of the fight. For Gege it's also difficult to draw this kind of CT on static paper so he opted for those white lines to show where RBW was active.
Sukuna also jumped on air again and Todo had no idea how he did that. Why didn't Maki show them what that is about 🧐
Tumblr media
With all the debris, it was also difficult sometimes to understand the panels but here we have Yuji imitating a pillar while ramming himself into Sukuna
Later on Sukuna gets hols of Yuji's face with his giant hands, stuff I find extremely funny, but Todo saves Yuji before Sukuna can do something to him.
Then Sukuna makes a fatal mistake! He thinks he can outsmart 500,000 IQ Todo and fails miserably (RIP Mei-Mei's crow). Yuji gets another black flash in.
Tumblr media
Then Yuji grabs Sukuna's chest where his injured heart is and the chapter tries to deceive us at that point.
The "JJK ...ch.260/END" box appears and it looks like that's it for the week BUT we have one extra page left and that page starts HUGE with Sukuna making Gojo's handsign for his DE again and it ends even BIGGER with GOJO being BACK!!
Tumblr media
But hold on a second!
Can we be sure that this is Gojo? 🤔
Actually yes, because we have an entire catalog of clues on how he would've survived the World Ending Slash from Sukuna.
There still is the possibility that this is a trick that someone is playing against Sukuna though. Uro's CT of manipulating air might e.g. cause an illusion like this and even the narrator talks about a "spirit" which raises some questions.
But it's also said that his eyes are unmistakable and Sukuna himself seems convinced that he's the real deal.
I'm going to make a post on all the clues we got about how he survived and I'm going to refer to my original post on his survival from way back when he got bisected.

[ARTICLE] Moon Byul hopes to be more than just the rapper of MAMAMOO
Tumblr media
Moon Byul spent the first decade of her career as the rapper of girl group Mamamoo. She now plans to break that frame as an all-rounder artist with her first full-length solo album, “Starlit of Muse,” featuring band music, brass music and more.
“I’ve spent the last 10 years as the rapper of Mamamoo, but I didn’t want to lock myself under that title. I didn’t want to be afraid of taking new challenges,” Moon Byul said during a group interview ahead of the release of “Starlit of Muse” on Tuesday.
The group interview was held at Space Sophora, the art gallery in Jung District, central Seoul where Moon Byul also hosted her special exhibition before the release.
“This is why I started my own battle to break that frame in 2022, joining competition shows and releasing new solo albums. I think I can pack that final punch with my full-length album,” she said.
“I needed all 12 tracks in my album to fully express myself.”
The album's 12 songs come in a variety of styles and genres, including “Touchin&Movin,” the lead track featuring funky brass tunes, “Memories,” a song featuring live instrumentals and “Gold,” the artist's first English B-side.
“All the genres that I’ve tried before in my past solo lead tracks are included in ‘Starlit of Muse’,” Moon Byul said. “There’s a song similar to ‘Lunatic’ (2022), ‘C.I.T.T.’ (2022), I have a powerful song just like ‘Eclipse’ (2020) and much more.”
Tumblr media
Moon Byul joined and took victory in JTBC’s competition show “The Second World” (2022), which saw girl group rappers such as Oh My Girl’s Mimi, WJSN’s EXY and Billlie’s Moon Sua competing.
But Moon Byul, despite her history as a singer-songwriter who has written lyrics for both her own and Mamamoo's music, is only credited as a producer on two of the album's tracks — “Like a Fool” and “After Sunset,” which Moon Byul wrote three years ago, but has been saving for her full-length release.
“I’ve only decided to put two of my own songs in the album because I wanted to be open to different perspectives — I didn’t want my album to be limited by my vocabulary and the language I use. I wanted to sing songs of love, youth and other different stories seen in different perspectives.”
Nevertheless, Moon Byul clarified that she was at the center of the album's production process, thinking of ideas and making decisions to craft an album that she, herself, would want to buy.
“When I was in a group of four, the agency gave us the big picture and we didn’t have much input in the album. When I was in a duo in Mamamoo+, I could put half of my input into the album. With a solo release, I can have all my input in the album,” Moon Byul said. “Everyone can release a bland album, so I wanted to make a fun and exciting album.”
Tumblr media
Out of the many songs in the album, “Memories,” featuring RBW’s boy band Onewe, was Moon Byul’s favorite B-side track.
“'The Second World’ really taught me that I like band music and made me realize that I’m quite good at it,” she said. “'Memories’ is a song that fits just right in that category. It revolves around the theme of refreshing youth, and I think it will be best performed live.”
“I’m so glad and thankful to have Onewe as instrumental performers in the song, because imitating band music using synthesizers just didn’t feel lively,” Moon Byul said. “Listening to Onewe’s live performances, I could feel the liveliness, and I could sense how the band communicates with the listeners.”
But despite praising her collaborators, Moon Byul remained humble and cautious about debuting her own band.
“You know, as much as I want to start my own band, I’m very much well aware that people around me would have to suffer [in helping me],” Moon Byul said with a laugh. “I also can’t play any instruments. I think I’ll have to be ready first.”
Moon Byul hopes that fans will enjoy the merchandise she's prepared to accompany the album, including a limited-edition tote bag made out of demo and various “unique and fun” photocards.
Tumblr media
But the most important thing, the artist said, is that she, herself, is happy with her work.
“I never felt the feelings of satisfaction as I released my previous albums, but I was truly satisfied with everything with my album as I produced it,” Moon Byul said. “So regardless of how other people judge me, I’ll be happy with my album.”
But, she emphasized, “I hope my fans will listen to the album and be proud of their favorite singer.” She added, “I hope it turns out to be an album I’m not ashamed of and one that’s worthy of Mamamoo’s name.”

We Are Lead Actors as K-Pop Boy Group Concept Photos: A Deep Dive [1/2]
Because I can't be normal about anything, I took it upon myself for self indulgence (rip We Are Wednesdays) to share my takes on which boy group concepts the We Are lead actors are based on their editorials/professional photographs (with my own ideas for future photoshoots). I had a lot of fun with this and if anyone has other comments to add, please feel free to do so!
Pond Naravit as NCT 127 - 2 Baddies
Tumblr media Tumblr media
youtube
Tumblr media
Pond is such an amazing performer (yeah I see them kpop covers!) and I feel like his vibe definitely suits the more modern take on the hip hop concept. His pictorials from ELLE Thailand suited this perfectly, especially with the accessories (the earrings are my personal favorite). I'd love to see Pond's future editorials showcase more accessories and experiment with pattern and cuts of clothing, but keeping it on the darker side. His hair is also his selling point so styling his hair to show his facial features more is a huge plus.
What I'd Love to See: NCT 127 - Favorite (Vampire)
youtube
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pond's features can be emphasized by playing around with lighting since his clothing is rather simple, or even utilizing motion blur like Taeil's image second on the left. It's also the era of vampire content in QL recently (still mourning over no Boss as a vampire but we have Zomvivor so I guess I'll let it go this one time) so playing around with set design and props would be interesting, even something as simple as the location of the photoshoot itself to take advantage of the architecture.
Phuwin Tangsakyuen as ATEEZ - BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
youtube
Tumblr media
I feel like from the images that I've seen Phuwin in, from his editorials to the fashion brands that named his ambassador like LOEWE, they seem to keep him in a more dapper and polished style such as the Frank Muller photoshoot for the Vanguard Beach watch collection. The green background instantly reminded me of one of the various concepts for ATEEZ's THE WORLD EP.2: OUTLAW EP featuring BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILI PEPPERS) as its title track, but the clothing for ATEEZ is more cyberpunk influenced to fit their alternate universe in their music video and lore. I'd love to see Phuwin take on more experimental fashion for his future editorials but I'm sure that's a big ask given he's very set on what he wants for himself as a person working in the entertainment world, which I heavily respect.
What I'd Love to See: ATEEZ - 멋(The Real) (흥 : 興 Ver.)
youtube
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jongho's hat always sends me but to not take away from Phuwin's dapper style, there can be experimentation with color and pattern with minimal fashion statement accessories. From something as simple as including a turtleneck like San in the second image or adding mismatched pattern like Yeosang's dress shirt in the third image, I think his stylists could include more fun textures into his wardrobe without overwhelming or taking away from his established image.
Winny Thanawin as ONEUS - Baila Conmigo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
youtube
Tumblr media
I was torn knowing that Winny is overdue for a new editorial since L'Officiel and I need someone to get on the ball with that asap. Although I included both images, ONEUS's La Dolce Vita EP had gorgeous photos for their mermaid concept (which I'm still mad at RBW for not even including it anywhere except the story teaser images like bruh not even in the damn MV or physical album), so I can totally see Winny embracing a more oceanic and beach vibe (just from scrolling his Instagram feed with all sorts of photos of the beach or poolside). Blue being his favorite color is also just a no brainer for this type of concept.
What I'd Like to See: ONEUS - 쉽게 쓰여진 노래 (A Song Written Easily)
youtube
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I need the photographer to take this man outdoors, preferably somewhere along the coast to really utilize the sun and ocean breeze. He also deserves to expand more with his blue tones, given that he seems to wear a lot of it just in every day life. If not a denim set, definitely in some cargo shorts with a Hawaiian inspired shirt.
Satang Kittiphop as P1Harmony - 겁나니 (Scared)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
youtube
Tumblr media
We need to give P1Harmony their flowers because when I saw these Satang photos for KAZZ Magazine, my mind really went to their DISHARMONY: BREAK OUT EP with Scared as the title track. He's also around the members' ages (born between '01 to '05) so if he really wanted to, he could be their secret seventh member (he blends in so well with Keeho in the second image my god). I also think GMMTV should continue marketing Satang's visual image as more tough and badass simply because I find it enjoyable to watch him in series like We Are as the silly goofy little brother archetype while also serving face.
What I'd Love to See: P1Harmony - 때깔 (Killin' It)
youtube
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y'all cannot tell me Satang wouldn't suit the best of both worlds with having his edge while also tying in his more silly image from the characters he's played that we know and love. Whether they achieve this look from fun statement pieces like fur coats or bold colors, I'd think seeing Satang push beyond his edgy image and becoming more experimental with his wardrobe would be insane.
If you made it this far, I really appreciate it! Y'all, I don't know anything about fashion like that so please: don't expect too much out of me. I recognize patterns because I'm neurodivergent and have a hyperfixations LOL so I have to split this post up into two due to the image limit (found here) but otherwise, I hope y'all get to check out new music or groups, or even the genre of K-Pop if you're unfamiliar and want to venture into it. All these groups are extremely talented and deserve all the love and support they can get <3

I know plenty of people have already talked about a possible return to Alara set, but since the original shards were so popular, how about a twist to it, wedge worlds instead of shards?
Narratively, I'm not sure exactly how this could happen, perhaps the Phyrexian invasion caused even more instability or a nostalgic person/group wanted to restore the shards and Alara separated again but into 5 wedge worlds instead of 5 shards.
So Naya loses red for black and is centered in green with black and white as secondary colors, Jund loses black for blue and is GRU, Grixis loses blue for white and is RBW, Esper loses white for green and is GUB, and Bant loses green for red and is RWU.
How would the new wedges of Alara look compared to their respective shards? Naya but make it goth?
You don't dilute shard world's identity by making it something Magic already has. Ikoria is wedge world. (And the further caveat that Alara stopped being shard world, narratively, so it's hard to return to because of that.)

It’s so funny because these tomoons sound exactly like that judge that freed that guy bc he’d already spent like a month in prison and he was like college age and didn’t want to ruin his future even tho he assaulted an unconscious woman outside of a bar and was caught by two men who held him until the police came.
And then that judge was disbarred because everyone was in an uproar.
But there are sooooo many cases of assault and crimes against women that get this same treatment ALL OVER THE WORLD. Your country has seen it. Every country has.
But when it’s a guy with no attachment to you it’s a crime! He’s evil! That poor woman!!!
But when it’s your ‘beloved man who is a literal stranger to you’ then you’re exactly like these leaders in the criminal justice system of every country who just shrug. ‘Can’t ruin HIS life.’
What about HER life??? I have lived in fear because of a man before. I have massive trust issues with men because of that- NOT THAT I SHOULD HAVE TO JUSTIFY WHY I THINK MEN NEED TO HAVE PUNISHMENT FOR ASSAULTING/STALKING/HARASSING WOMEN. Even if I didn’t have this experience, I would stand with the victims and would be concerned for future victims he could be close to.
He got caught. RBW are never gonna admit it to you, nor is anyone else. Kpop hushes these things down quickly, and don’t talk about them. We’re never gonna get a: ‘oh yeah he did all of these things’, no we’re never gonna hear about this again.
But remember when JPYE let go of that creep from Stray Kids and everyone was outraged and sad only to later find out he was A CREEP??? We literally got to find out r*vn was a creep first and we know why he’s gone and ya’ll still can’t accept it LOL ok.
So like. Idk check yourselves.

you guys dont understand how much im begging begging begging. begging on my hands and KNEES for a jyp to debut a genuinely self-produced girl group.
(rant below the readmore)
let me say this clearly from the start: there is nothing wrong with traditional idol groups. there is nothing wrong with being a (k)pop idol that does not write/produce their own music, and there is nothing wrong with having no desire to.
g-idle is right there yes yes of course they are--point is, there is not only them as female artists who have self-made music and performances they want to put into the world via the idol industry. and g-idle is CONSTANTLY being dragged down into hell by cube.
it doesn't need to be jyp, that's barely even my point here. g-idle are full of talented talented women who have achieved amazing success despite everything that coudlve held them back, but god, their biggest enemy is still clearly their company. constant stories of soyeon fighting for the songs and concepts she wants to be released, mild choreographies, generally terrible working conditions that CANNOT be working in their favor as artists/performers/idols.
purple kiss was marketed as that: a self-produced female idol group. but jesus, rbw, where is the self-producing? where are their writing credits on their titles? their own original ideas? and how can an idol group be self-produced if they're stuck to such a cemented concept for each comeback? is that what they want to be releasing? god knows i love purple kiss and i adore their concept, but that's besides the point here. i always check CCL, check their videos, to see their writing and production credits, and they ARE capable of making good music, *obviously* they are! why would they market them as such anyways? please. these girls have so much potential. i'm not even claiming they're being mistreated here, of course not every idol wants to make their own music, that's not what it's always about, but when it comes to marketing a group as such, how can they come in last as writing credits and have their self-written and self-produced songs be constantly nudged into bsides? their original choreographies like my heart skip a beat?
and jyp. oooooh jyp. you make me so mad. in that japanese skz + park jinyoung interview, JYP explained why stray kids formed the way it did, and let me just use exact quotes here (u can watch vid for everything, credit to STRAY K SUBS on yt for trans).
"we felt like the distance between fans and artists was gradually getting closer. so, it's hard to fool fans now. it's because we saw that it'd be hard to put out something that we planned and packaged nicely. [...] then, in order to show their real selves without any adjustments, we had to make a team that's actually tightly knit and like one body. we came to the conclusion that in order to do that, the company can't organize the members. so we ended up trying that kind of method for the first time."
and how come you went and debuted ITZY and NMIXX with absolutely no hint of these beliefs anywhere?
where is this trust for your female idols? where is this belief in authenticity in your female idols? where is this belief that you can't fool fans anymore?
is it somewhere in the self-love pop itzy sings that they have not even written about themselves?
is it somewhere in the colossal failure of "mixx-pop" that you plastered onto a group of young talented girls and risked their entire career on?
what did you not learn from the massive success of stray kids? what makes JYP think that a group of female artists is not capable of the same thing?
i'm sorry if i sound like i'm ever degrading to other girl groups about this, i promise i don't mean to be. but this subtle and extremely pervasive belief that women are not capable of technical proficiency makes my fucking blood boil. women can write their own lyrics. women can produce their own music. women can arrange their own music if they fucking want to. women are capable of understanding a market, having a message they want to spread, and using the idol industry as their medium.
if stray kids can do it, why the fuck can't any female idol group?
where is the huge amount of funding that goes to stray kids for their constant events, activities, concepts, comebacks, performances, and everything else, going for any other self-producing girl group?
im begging this industry to let women have that kind of freedom.
PS: because i know this wont get any notes but im scared of people missing the point: please god know i love stray kids. i love purple kiss. i love g-idle. and though im not a midzy i have MASSIVE respect for ITZY. and i have so much hope for NMIXX and the talent that those girls have--i only hope for jyp to take their heads out of their asses and truly believe in creativity and innovation, something i dont believe they are doing for NMIXX. i am not trying to bring these groups, or any other groups, down in any way.
PPS: if anything i said here is wrong or you have anything to add, pls do, im very open for discussion on this, it is an important topic to me

Here's a report of me reacting at Oneus' participation at Gayo Daechukjae and losing my mind while doing it (。・ω・。)
Author's note: While writing this I've switched from English to Italian (my native language) here and there. Because I've gone feral and I needed to calm down. Sorry, my dear moots :(
If you want I'll give you a translation in the replies of what I wrote. Or just use Google Translate...
TW: delusional fan over here, don't interact
The red carpet and their outfits: I admit it, I cheated here. I already saw their outfits before the entire show started. And they are so pretty! ヾ(≧▽≦*)o I want to know the stylist who's obsessed with giving a chocker or a necktie to Leedo every time. They're doing the gods' job. Did you see Keonhee and Xion in white?! Men in white are my biggest weak point (❁´◡`❁) Not to mention that pearl necklace on Xion...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH è così bello aiuto, salvatemi.
Can I suggest RBW bring the boys here in Italy during Festival di Sanremo? With these outfits? Oh no, I can't? Oh...ok ╯︿╰ They were so cute during that little red carpet bit but there's a little thing that annoyed me the most: WHO HAD THE AMAZING IDEA TO PUT HWANWOONG AT THE CENTER? BETWEEN SEOHO AND KEONHEE?! Seriously I was laughing hysterically. Did the organizers know that by doing this they made him even shorter than he actually is? Gosh, I hate this, it's my biggest pet peeve. But I rewatched the bit twice so it's a win for them.
The opening sequence: Please, did you see how adorable they were? Just vibing and having fun
Keonhee amorino come devo fare con te, too much adorable for this world,
The Same Scent performance: I...I cried. NOT THEM REARRANGING THE SONG WITH THE TRADITIONAL SOUND! ಥ_ಥ NOT THEM BRINGING BACK THE LUNA (aka the reason why I love them so much) VIBES. Also, long hair Xion, my beloved, my LOML, you're back (but they were exte-I know that random user, just let me vibe and fall in love once again with him)!
Vorrei scrivere un intero discorso su tutta la parte di Keonhee e Seoho o tutto il suo bance break in generale ma massacrerei la tastiera nel farlo, ergo 'sto zitta.
The Sexy Back dance: ah yeah, the elephant in the room. I admit that the first time I watched it, my reaction was just like this
Tumblr media
Then I noticed that I'd watched the performance in terrible video quality (thanks Youtube, you're always the best...) and I rewatched again.
And my reaction was:
SOHFSUFHSOUFHSfasiosIFHSDIVHASIUGYSEIDAJPSODKPSFUSEPT
LE SPALLE
LE SCHIENE
MANNAGGIA TUTTO
Then I discovered the fan cams. And I'd decided to watch them. Because of course, I would do that.
Hwanwoong: I've started with the safest one because yes, I need to start with the safest one. Oh well, help me call it "safest", he was flirting the entire time with the camera. BTW thanks again Youtube for the shittiest quality video ever, I needed to watch the fan cam twice. Not complaining though.
Seoho: again, watched the fan cam twice because thank you Youtube...
No sì, ok, se pensavi di toglierti la camicia con nonchalance e andartene ti sbagliavi di grosso frate. Cioè, te fai quella cosa e dovrei stare calma...seeeeeee come no, hai sbagliato persona. TU. NON PUOI. WRECKARMI IN QUESTO MODO!
I need to update the get to know me post now and put him in the bias wrecker list now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Leedo: I've looked myself in the mirror and cried. Of joy. I got pure bless...
EFSKEOIDFJALFJASLKFJALEKGADKFNSKDAKLSFJADLKFAVNAKLVNUU
Slamming the keyboard was the best thing to do, now I'm ok, maybe
And this is it, I'm emotionally devastated and my throat hurts because I've screamed too much. I'll just leave the last message for them before leaving and reblogging content here on this hellsite.
Vi voglio bene ragazzi, sapessi disegnare vi avrei dedicato una galleria d'arte ಥ_ಥ
Side note: today we also got a special video made by Yonghoon. Today was basically a WeUs family Day. I got blessed ಥ‿ಥ
Another side note: I swear, if I discover that Dongmyeong was there I'm gonna lose my mind and becoming emotional ಥ_ಥ

In defense of ONEUS and RAVN
I still remember how seeing those accusations felt. A pot of boiling water was being poured onto my head. I looked at my wall, then my few ONEUS albums, then back to the wall. My eyes were spitting fire. I distanced and distracted myself to pretend I can handle this without pressure, I found an excuse to have some laughter and joy for a couple of hours. Then, days of missed sleeps, worrying days, anxious waitings, trying to dig into small pieces of hope that it is just a terrible nightmare… they came along. I kept track of those days without being able to cure anything. Then, I learned from those loyal fans who truly bothered themselves to find the inconsistencies in those serious accusations. I got encouraged to bother myself to translate those documented inconsistencies to my own native language to help another fan page, to help RAVN, to help ONEUS by hoping to cure people from those sickening mindsets. In the face of burnt bridges, the symbolic/literal attempts being shown to the members as if fans were showing bats under the table, them carrying all this burden after a marvelous era and right before a world tour, probably the worst timing ever that an artist can witness, seeing all the effort being put out there to save them from this disgusting situation leading to cracks is heartachingly sad. ONEUS and RAVN are not only the victims of this scandal. They are the victims of such abusive treatment from their company and from so many fans.
Beforehand, RBW’s immediate action on taking care of the situation is an aspect I still appreciate. The problem starts with they have done afterwards: the fansigns, the cut-out edits, the ridiculous announcements... At the core of these insensitive steps until now, I wish they would just not keep on organizing those fansigns. I wish members would not have to carry all that burden on their shoulders. We cannot know what was in their mind, maybe they thought they could cool down the situation, maybe they thought they could find comfort in the time of chaos but what has been speculated at those fansigns were not worth the effort they put out there. I’m sorry but I just can’t forget Hwanwoong’s eyes and his tightened throat… Was this all worth it really? If yes, at what cost?
To the fans who have put the slightest effort to let this happen by not calming themselves to wait for a proper justice and using such a serious scandal carelessly for their own egoistic choices to legitimize all the superficial hatred agenda towards Ravn, the truth reveal itself one way or another. The question is, will you be able to face your conscience when you realize your populist actions have not only undermined his whole effort in ONEUS’s music and chemistry, how he touched members’ and lots of fans’ lives gently but also you have acted ignorantly and insensitively about SA and the true victims of such traumatizing incidents? If members’ tearful, truly vulnerable and reminiscing, not your “uwu oppa is so cute” moment of ments on the first concert day made you not realize that, I don’t know what else would do that.
Still on this day, hats off to ONEUS to bear with this burden someway, somehow in such a disaster timing of their careers. Lately, I have been seeing comments about them acting unprofessional and fans getting disappointed because of them pushing this 5-member agenda this fast and out loud. I invite you to a moment of empathy, please. Imagine that you have just gained a really important momentum in your career, collecting trophies left and right, you are about to go on a world tour, one of the most essential ways for artists to make actual money, and then bam! Just couple of days  before the world tour, ONEUS had to adapt themselves to their new reality and we don’t have a single clue whether they got through it or not. They even had to act faster than us because at the end of the day, it is them running from schedule to schedule to keep their career safe, not us. What were we expecting really? Them cancelling shows, them unwillingly perform at the shows and put their image at risk? If not acting accordingly, how are they going to continue their schedules? I am not saying this is how it should be but unfortunately, this is how it should be in this industry. I wish it would not be like that and we would talk about these transparently. You don’t have to agree on it but still acknowledging and respecting their side would help to process their situation as well. Let me tell you, the timing of this is sh#t yet they are professional af and that’s why it hurts this much. I wish we could have treated each other’s wounds in another time, not in these conditions…
Still on this day, hats off to RAVN for his legacy on ONEUS. I hope we get to hear his side whenever he is ready to reflect on it. Even if I hate this, his decision on leaving the group is his way of showing respect. In my view, he did not want to be the cause of the possible shades to be thrown in the future to the name of ONEUS and if this is not an act of loyalty, then I don’t know what it is. Yet it does not change the feeling of mine that I am forced to say an unwilling goodbye to a brother who loved this idol life in his own glamourous ways, showed how staying humane and humble in this disgustingly competitive industry still matters, was not afraid of sharing pure love and caring to the members and us, inspired me how to look myself beautifully at the mirror. Today’s me is not afraid to show this affection and appreciation to him and tomorrow’s me, whatever the outcome is going to be, will not be disappointed in yesterday’s me for showing this sincere admiration to ONEUS and RAVN.
Last but not least, to all ot5+1, everyone of us is healing in their own paces. Your encouraging and sincere words on this virtual universe is my reason to start writing a blog and I hope we can heal each other’s wounds carefully. Thank you for your inspirational stance in this time of chaos. Sending big and warm hugs to all of you!

i was supposed to write this on my kpop blog or random blog but i hope posting it here is enough to reach other people. the news of hybe being sm’s largest shareholder and even their growth in general is very concerning to me, especially w/ their strategies to acquire other labels like pledis or soumu under their main branch and also platforms for fandom like weverse and v live…
but it is much more complex to know that sm is doing this to not be acquired by kakao ent, which is also a conglomerate and doesn’t come from the music industry yet they want to monopolize it for them…
from my pov as a business management major, this is not healthy for the business landscape in kpop industry or k-music industry in general, maybe even the world music industry as hybe is literally holding onto a few of the largest pop stars in the US like justin bieber and ariana grande. if they continue with this, they will monopolize the industry like kakao is trying to do and that means…
- no competition
- no substitution
- no innovation
i’m very aware of this situation cuz other than learning it, i’ve made a presentation night topic about this for sims 4, ea, and their monopolization of the life sim genre for games. also, i’m part of the dnd community with the discourse that happened earlier this year on their gaming license and how ppl have moved to competitors because they don’t like how wotc is trying to restrict homebrew content.
what should you do?
- support artists that are not under hybe or kakao through majority shares, acquisitions, or partnerships, like yge, jype, fnc, cube, etc
but definitely!!
- support the indie artists in the k-music industry (companies that aren’t under both of them) or those who haven’t made their company public like dpr, kq ent (ateez), rbw artists (mamamoo, kard, onf), etc

Order of favourites:
1: UNFORGIVEN / Eve, Pschye & The Bluebeard's Wife / Burn The Bridge
2: Fire in the belly / No-Return (Into the Unknown) / Flash Forward
3: FEARNOT
Album rank: S
For this ranking I'm separating the new songs to rank them first as they're new and will share my full ranking below.
I'm also splitting between title, intro's and B sides
Order of favourites:
Title: ANTIFRAGILE / UNFORGIVEN/ FEARLESS
Intro's: Burn The Bridge / The Hydra / The World Is My Oyster 2023 Ver
B Sides:
1: Impurities / Eve, Pschye & The Bluebeard's Wife / Burn The Bridge
2: No-Return (Into the Unknown) /Fire in the belly/
3: Flash Forward / Blue Flame
4: FEARNOT
Album rank: S
-UNFORGIVEN, perfect wild west I don't give a damn vibes! Nile Rodgers guitar is of course iconic! I feel like blazing a path, blowing the smoke away from my spirits pistol!
-Burn The Bridge, the beat rise and emotion seriously lifts my heart and excites me so good! If it was longer it would definitely be in rank 1 but I get sad at the end when it dies down lol, give me more! *I added it to rank 1 line because I love it even though I want more. It's between a full song and intro as it's longer than a usual intro but definitely an intro. A lot of intros make me mad that they're not full songs (ahem RBW) but as this is longer it feels good enough and as I said I love it.
-No-Return, I love the sax and funky beat! I can imagine the MV of them being after school and secretly being secret agents but it's a fun style like scooby doo haha!
-Eve, Pschye & The Bluebeard's Wife, I wanna vogue and feel boujee but I don't care about anything! Natural, casual but high fashion! Backstage vibes with a spacey feel. As in I imagine backstage at a club and the girls getting ready but the style being like the 90s but they're in a space station/ planet but it's normal life haha. Like a dusty but popular bar/club, maybe a bit of Ugly Coyote vibes but more chic style than wild west theme. Basically a idc fashion vibe.
-FEARNOT, I'm generally not big on ballads because I like up beat music and ballads tend to also make me sad so it's more exhausting to casually listen too. Like most Kpop ballads is okay, I love the girls vocals and as usual if I understood Korean it would hit deeper like of course I get the feel but ballads especially made for the fans is easier for me to attach to if the song itself is extra amazing or I can understand the words.
-Flash Forward, is like the morning version of No-Return. It's bright but not too bright and sparkling! A happy and relaxed vibe it's very nice!
-Fire in the belly, I love how Yujin sings here to match a Spanish vibe so cool! A song you can't help but move too! It's fire but in a cool way, maybe matching blue flame! Olé Olé Olé Olé!
The album would have gotten an S+ if the album has more hard hitting songs as it's called Unforgiven after all and I'm big on themes matching. That being said I loved it! Le Sserafim really make me happy, so talented with great music and their personalities are bright and make me smile.
I'd love MVS for Eve, Psyche and The Bluebeard's Wife, Fire in the Belly! I would also love a longer song in Burn The Bridge style, so pretty and uplifting a real mood is set! I love rising songs!
🗒Notes: As usual I might add more later and there is probably some spelling and grammar mistakes.
🗒️Notes 2: The '/'do mildly set the rankings of each track higher than the next but they're all the same level. So all rank 1 songs are all rank 1 but the first one is slightly higher than the next in line if there is one. On that note a lower number song doesn't mean it's bad, after all I give an overall ranking at the end. It's a lot to do with how much I'll relisten to a song as well. So for example a lot of ballads are good but I rarely listen to them unless they are exceptional for my tastes.
