Companies have built AI "art" generators to make money. Money that would go to artists. Real art is created from the mind, heart, and hand. It does not come from programs that have stolen from artists, no matter how cool it may look. Do not trust the advertising. Do not accept the simulation. Do not abandon real artists. Because real creativity requires human dedication.

This just got personal. Yes, some of these images are older, but it doesnt matter. All of my art represents almost 30 years of hard work and dedication, of giving up other things in life and other career paths, of literal blood sweat and tears (especially with those paper cut illustrations). Of almost 200k in student debt. And now, each of those ai generates images represents a job I didn't get, a sale I didn't make, a bill I can't pay. Ai art isn't cute or fun. It is a crime with thousands of victims. AI Art is not here to replace artists, expressing ourselves through paintings and images is something humans do since the beggining of our history. However, today the work of lots of artists is being stolen to feed AI's algorithms and produce "new" art made of pieces of other people's work. This is ART THEFT and NEEDS to be regulated, AI is an exciting new tool but as every new technology, it needs new laws since lots of people will try to use it to maximize profit without concern for the work of dozens of very talented artists. And for the people who feel like they're doing art by typing prompts on a software, go grab a pen and paper, art truly is more about the experience of doing it and less about the final product. Don't be so foolysh to try to automate a basic form of human expression.

Chester "Monkey Man" Munkie

No relation to the film by the same name. Monkey Man is a character I've had since the start of my career, and he's a member of Goldy the Chow's crew. Son of the underworld crime lord Mad Monkey, Monkey Man grew up perfecting his skills as a petty thief. Over time, he stopped seeing eye to eye with his father and ran off to pursue his own goals. He soon began targeting other criminals to steal from, and in particular the criminals that happened to work with or for his father. Eventually, this would bring him on a collision course with Goldy the Chow and after a handful of mishaps and a brief rivalry, the two would eventually see that their goals were aligned and Monkey Man officially decided to join Goldy's Crew.

Monkey Man equips himself with a multitude of Banana themed gadgets, from his Banana Phone to his Banana Flashlight and his Bananarang. He's also nimble and adept at using his tail for swinging and plenty of other things as well.
