Aaaaaaaaaand here’s the finished results! :D I really enjoyed doing this challenge and honestly might do another one sometime soon. Thank y’all for sending me characters :3

okay so. i challenged myself to try and draw some snakes and try to capture the features i want to stand out for them. i wanted to see if i could make them all look distinct but where its obvious they look extremely similar.

heres the main lineup but i want to get into design elements for them as well as some personal headcanons.

FIRST! bibo.

okay so. i'm going to toot my own horn here. i think his beard looks so fire and i did a good job. i imagine this design is around the portable ops era... not much else to say because most of the interesting stuff (at least to me) comes from the differences the others have from him.

V!!! I LOVE YOU V!!!!!!!!!!

for venom snake, i made him look like big boss but Something's Off. in the game people often (notably huey and the boss' ai) don't recognize him as big boss for a few seconds. an imperfect replica because you cannot get that close with plastic surgery. i made the fat distribution on his neck a bit different from bibo's because i imagine the way that the human body configures itself is hard to change. if you noticed the little snake-tongue-shaped-hair-doohickeys, he is the only one with a slightly different shape. it's a genetic thing, you wouldn't get it. just thought that was silly. his hair texture is different, too. can u tell i like him a lot. also, my favorite detail might be his different nose shape. they never got bibo's nose right i guess. in mgsv, he actually has a bit of a downturned nose, and i honestly don't think i captured that enough.

SNAVID! the most obvious difference here is his nose. he broke it as a kid lol. i love headcanons. there's not as much to say about him as with venom, but i can say that he is incredibly handsome and i like him. i think he is cute. was he free yesterday? if so i would like to have dinner yesterday with him yesterday. well... i will say that out of this specific lineup i think he looks the most like good old dad. which is awful and i feel bad for him.

FINALLY: LIQUID!!!!!!!

i gave him his canonical sharp nose and high cheekbones! i based a lot of his features off how he looked as a kid so he really has little shit vibes about him. he also has thinner eyebrows, and i headcanon that he does them himself lol. he has less sideburny sideburns than his brother. his eyelids are also smaller. he also does look kinda like kaz so its plausible that he tricked dave! yippee! i also like drawing his hair. its such a great hairstyle. it reminds me of a lion's mane.

N E WAYS... i hope you enjoyed me rambling about giving these goobers a more realistic design for future reference. i like talking about this kind of stuff. life is so much better without same face syndrome.

Introducing; my version of Rise’s Venus de Milo! (OUTDATED; adding the canon design for BM’s assistant!)

(she/her/thon/thons) She’s about 9 ft tall since she’s equally based off of Frankenstein, IDW Venus and the OG Venus de Milo. more info about her and her life under the cut! (Like, a lot more info, she’s been living in my head since last April) (She’s a year old and I’m only now revealing her info!) (HBD Venus!!)

Her Family in the Hidden City

Big Mama had her made by a scientist/patron of hers during the first 2 seasons as a synthetic competitor for her Battle Nexus, but after her change of heart in the S2 finale, she took thon in as her heiress and daughter to try and do something right for a change. It’s very hard for her. Her parenting style is a good balance of gentle and stern but she thinks praise is a good replacement for emotional vulnerability and it’s turned Venus into quite a megalomaniac. Venus just calls her “Mama” and BM calls her “Veedee” (If she calls thon “Venus,” thon’s in deep shit)

Time wise, after the movie she’s physically at age 1.5, 2 years old, though mentally thon’s about where Leo and Donnie are, 16. (Still very young, please keep in mind she is a child and has big eyes like the teenagers in the show, she’s just tall. If you sexualize her I will send you to the shadow realm. BEHAVE.)

Venus also sees the doctor that made her, Dr Shelly, as her father, and they’re quite close. She spent the first few weeks of her life in his home, mostly in his library where she filled her head with everything most people know intuitively. She often can recite information she has no memory of learning, these first few weeks were less like learning and more like remembering information but from no memories.

Venus’s closest friend & surrogate older sister is Jennika, who works as Big Mama’s assistant (and a fine artist!) under the codename “Frida.” The 2 spend most of their days on diplomatic missions in the Hidden City mafia underworld and managing/restructuring the Battle Nexus to be more ethical. Venus is a naturally studious academic who loves philosophy, literature, and of course, renaissance art, so adults tend to think she’s mature, but only Jennika really knows how naive she can be. Jennika misses her human family, so they’ve really latched onto each other.

She picked her name out herself. When thon was first revived, Shelly rushed up to her and almost addressed her with a name starting with V but stopped himself before he could say it in full. Changed his mind and said that he supposed that name probably wouldn’t fit right now. So she had a preference for a V name.

Thon’s Physiology

It’s quite the mystery how he did it, but the secret to Venus’s sentience is a machine that manages to convert any matter she digests into energy in the form of empyrean. This is why she was mostly kept a rapunzel-like secret for the first few months of her life before she had Jennika as a bodyguard. Nobody knows about her heart except herself, Jennika, Shelly and Big Mama.

If she bleeds or cries, it glows bright green, so she hates both because thon feels like she’s drawing attention to herself. She’s insecure about most of her organic parts anyway and pushes herself to appear stoney, inorganic and perfect. (The consequences of idolizing and wanting to emulate a literal goddess statue, skill issue) It’s not like her fears are completely unfounded though, she has no idea where Shelly got her dead body parts.

If she’s too stressed, the seams on her upper arms bleed and they fall off like a gecko tail. She kinda looks like the og Venus do Milo statue when that happens, it’s a bit gruesome.

To represent her need to balance the organic/inorganic parts of herself, thon’s biggest dreams vs realistic expectations for herself, her right hand is organic (and based off the 2012 turtles) while her left is robotic. (& made to look like big mama’s claws in her spider form)

Goals & wants

She wants to overthrow the council of heads and rule the Hidden City as president. (Through a democracy of course!) She sees them as ineffective and useless, she went to them during the Kraang invasion to tell them something needed to be done about the alien invaders but they did nothing and said to let the turtles handle it. She’s grateful everything turned out well but she still has a grudge against them and the way they run things. Big Mama thinks she’s silly and Jennika thinks she’s a mentally unwell, workaholic, megalomaniac but pizza supreme as her witness, thon’s gonna do it.

Thon wants to be a good, ethical leader/politician (oxymoronic, I know lmao) and sees the increasing amount of Battle Nexus estate Big Mama entrusts her with as practice for managing yokai society. She would love “the Good Place.”

She also wants to know more about Jennika and for her to reconcile with her father.

Venus’s arc

“Your life is your own, ok?!” She struggles with dehumanizing (de-turtle-izing?) herself because she believes it makes her greater, more fit to achieve her goals. When the fact that she’s a mortal, breathing, living being, that can’t possibly be anywhere near divine like thon thinks she needs to be hits her, she spirals. Thon desperately needs to learn that being imperfect is a necessary gift, that she is “the protagonist of her own life” and that you don’t need to be a great person to do great things, you just need to be a person.

She’s very studious and seen as intelligent and mature for her age, but when she’s put in real life situations after meeting her cousins, the turtles, she has to learn to to manage imperfections and embrace them.

She’s quite based off of MP100 and Barbie haha.

For this internal conflict I was inspired by how the original character’s depiction back in the 80’s was really,, dehumanizing? if that’s the right word? Misogynistic very much too. I find the message that; “no matter what other people think of you or what you think of yourself, you will never be anything more or less than a regular being” both comforting in itself and a neat subversion of the original VdM since one of my favorite aspects of Rise’s writing is how subversive it is.

I can’t wait to show you more of her! Esp how she interacts with the Mad Dogs!

Bonus; Design Details!

All the turtles have shape motifs; square, rectangle, circle, triangle, her’s is a Raindrop shape! Combined with her electric motifs she’s a bit of a storm cloud lol

The Turtles’s shells are s-shaped and follow the curvature of a human spine, I draw Venus’s shell really distorted and disproportionate to this since she’s inorganic.

Similarly, while the other turtles shells and plastrons are like boxes that contain their whole torsos, thon’s kinda just sits on top of her torso, where her plastron ends and her legs begin don’t line up. It started out as an anatomical error but i liked how it made her look distorted and off somehow. (Kinda gruesome, but it kinda helps her look like a bloated corpse, which is what she is aksjks) To be clearer, the difference between how the mad dogs’ shells/plastrons/bridges(sides) are attached to their bodies vs Venus’s is like the difference between a bodysuit and a t-shirt.

i love how the fans think us criticals are utterly miserable. ever since i left the fandom after finally realizing what a pos v*v is and actually acknowledging the valid controversy and criticism about both shows and personally being appalled by H*H, i feel, i dunno, more free? i come out of the space that calls ppl like us "haters" or "antis". that's how blindly i followed v*v and her fans. looking back, that whole mess is either a cult or a level of parasocial that's not measurable by any human. i also used to follow the infamous dani*draws. to add to that, H*H and H*B used to be a special interest of mine, and while my heart still aches about this and desperately wants to go back to LITERAL blissful ignorance, i know better than that. its hard, but it's the right thing to do. anything else would be inexcusable to me, personally...

having found the h*zbin critical tags made me feel more at 'home' than the fandom ever has. i'm having a blast over here, this is surprisingly a lot of fun! i love seeing people post their own interpretations and designs, but also the criticism in itself!!

btw, i can't remember who posted it, but I've heard all the exorcists are a) women and b) named after genitalia. (it might be wrong but considering it's viv its so realistic anyways). i also dont know the exact name, but i have seen something along the lines of "lieutenant clitourios" or something like that. i wish i was kidding.

Maybe because you ARE free, for example don't you notice that once in awhile when Mega fans of Vivziflop don't like a certain scene/episode of the show all of a sudden tons of Vivshit stans take it way too far and cancel that person???

About the Touhou drawing, even though it really underperformed, it did the thing that I really love about obscure crossovers: there were some people who connected the dots and went “ah!”. It ended up being a drawing for a very specific audience lol But I am extremely happy that those who liked it did like it, including you! It means a lot that we still get support on stuff that doesn’t necessarily click with a lot of people.

Katsu said it the other day, but I’ll say it too: we really don’t want to seem ungrateful because all the support we receive is honestly insane and we’re really happy that we could be this self-indulgent about stuff that we post. It motivates both of us a lot, and I feel like no matter how much I thank you all, it’ll never feel like I’ve said it enough time to express just how much we appreciate it properly.

I’m pretty sure I talked about this before, but I can’t find the post right now, so I’ll answer again!

Jade and Floyd are interesting because even though they act together a lot of times, they don’t really like being “a set” to each other, so I guess whether they would do something like this or not really depends on a lot of stuff. I do love to sandwich one character between them, and I tend to do it with Idia because of course I do lol But it still doesn’t feel like a poly ship to me, more like two creeps harassing poor guy because he amuses them…

I agree that it would be an interesting dynamic to see Jade and Floyd fighting for a piece of meat someone else’s attention because it would showcase their pettier side, like two kids hissing at each other. But in practice, I don’t really know who would fit to be that one person these two would fight for like that 🤔 They are too good at minding their business when it comes to each other’s love affairs.

I’m waiting for an epiphany on this one.

In a fandom specific sense, I have two main loves: the way people draw Oscar’s hair (simple yet distinctive) and the way people draw Charles’s hands (will not elaborate at this time). More generally, I love when artists intentionally stray away from realistic proportions in order to make the subject more stylist. Either sharper and tougher, elongated and willowy, love it all.

Hi! I see that since you mentioned match ups are open people have eagerly hopped in. I honestly don't blame them since you're so good at it. It's really fun reading everyone's match ups so I wanted to give it a go too! I wanted to avoid mentioning or comparing characters to avoid influencing the results but like simplifying a person's personality is hard so I'm just gonna roll with it, lol.

In terms of personality, I'm an introvert but that doesn't mean I'm shy. I can be (I have, like, 3 different anxiety diagnosis) but usually I'm generally low energy and relaxed. Very deadpan. So much so much so that people tend to laugh even when I'm being serious. I'm a Taurus and I find the description very much fitting. I take pride in being pragmatic, grounded, down to earth. I like taking care of people in a more realistic way (and just in general). In spite of seeming calm or blunt I'm actually really sensitive and emotional (although I'll never show others my vulnerability). I always try to consider the other person's feelings which is why I'm often called kind and considerate. A good listener. I'm quiet so that comes with the territory lol. I generally don't like to talk about myself and will only say something if asked/spoken to first. In simple terms I'd say I'm a weird mix of Jumin(practical, decisive, analytical) and V(emotional, sentimental, self sacrificing). I always end up getting the most hearts from them when I respond honestly especially Jumin haha. One last thing for me is that along with my millions of anxiety disorders(including paranoia so I heavily relate to Rika and Saeyoung) I also have ADHD(I guess *also* like Saeyoung lolol). As I'm sure you can tell by now I don't have the one that makes me bounce off the wall. I believe the one I have is called inattentive and it makes me a total space cadet. But I was very imaginative and creative so I think it was good trade off? I'm pretty sure my mom thought child me was a plant because I was so quiet and still. Never cried that much and was an "easy" child except when she had to coax me to do things. Then I was stubborn lolol. Definitely a Taurus haha.

For work and study, ever since I could hold a crayon I've been drawing and art has always been my focus. In public school I'd pick the all the art classes and I'd even take outside classes during summers off and when I grew out of that I'd do self study with books and online tutorials. I do illustration and graphic design and my major in college was visual communication design (which is a wordier way to say graphic design). I got my associates but sadly had to drop while doing my bachelor's (would love to get a master's and study art forever but it's just a dream for now). Currently, I work as a bakery clerk part time until I can get a better job but I like it. I like seeing people's faces light up saying "SO PRETTYYY~" when they see our cakes. I do a little bit of everything so bread bagging, baking, set up, orders, cake decorating. It's very well rounded job where I'm breaking a sweat and feel like I'm earning my dollar while also having creative input. I like giving the customers advice for their get togethers and parties. It's nice. I'd like to one day have my own brand and put myself out there as an artist but for now this is fine enough.

When it comes to hobbies I feel like it's on the nose cause I like to be creative and have my hands moving. The obvious is drawing (both digitally and traditionally. Love using soft chalk pastels) and baking but I also like more crafty hobbies like crocheting and scrapbooking. I'm a big stationary nerd and I love collecting paper, notebooks, stickers/washi taped, pens/pencils, ect. Been into watching bookbinding vids. I also have the more typical hobby of listening to music, reading (big book nerd put me in a book store I'll leave with a tall stack), big gamer nerd.

Some other miscellaneous info about me is my favorite color is green 💚. I generally like deep earthy, natural colors but I also like gentle pastels like pink and lavender. I'm a big dog person and I dislike cats. I'm actually afraid of them and they cause me a lot of anxiety. I would never cause trouble for them and I hope they are homed to people that genuinely adore them. I just don't jive with them. I can and have taken care of them in a pinch. I wouldn't let my personal stuff cause them harm. I definitely understand and relate to dogs more. I want to grow old with a bunch of pups to take care of lol. I don't want kids so cute puppers will do. I have hazel eyes and rusty red hair. When I was younger my hair was much brighter yellow orange compared to Saeyoung but as I got older it turned into a deeper, darker rust red. I also have freckles all over. My favorite shape is stars! I love astrology and magic and whimsy (again such a contrast from how I present lolol ⭐)

Im more prone to forgiving and moving on and I found Saeran's AE really relatable. It brought up a lot of topics that were really important to me that I feel a lot of people overlook in stories about healing from abusive parents. I really can't hold onto my anger for very long and generally prefer to look at people for what they are and either work with them or move on. I don't like letting others take my time and energy which is why I'm "nice", or at least normal, to even people i don't like. I feel like being petty and angry all the time is draining. It's just my style of healing. On the contrary I find anger and yelling very triggering for me even from friends who I know won't hurt me or are speaking on my behalf. The antagonististic energy is just very uncomfortable. I prefer a gentle touch I can trust. Everyone is capable of getting angry, it's healthy and normal, but I prefer someone who's first instinct isn't to jump to anger but understanding. Makes me feel safe.

Hear me out, I know this might sound odd, but you seem to fall into the same realm as his heart.

Don't take this to mean that you're self-destructive, it's actually that you're passionate and that this passion is what inspires you to be who you are. Even though it may not be a lucrative career to survive as an artist, you find a way to make it work, and in doing so, you don't sacrifice what helps you feel like you have artistic liberty. Not a lot of people have that opportunity, and it would be interesting to be close to Jihyun, wouldn’t it? He didn't give up on his dream of painting, he simply found something else to fill the void in his chest because his father made him believe he would never be able to make it. 

Seeing you be your most authentic self is a challenge to everything he's ever told himself. You're the kind of person who challenges him, because while you are similar, you are inherently different, as well. It's not a bad thing, it's something he welcomes, and he can't help but want more. 

He's not the kind of person who's going to jump to anger when something goes wrong. You don't have to be afraid of being in a conversation with him, especially not with the two of you are upset, because he has a level enough head to know that you need to take some time to breathe, and do whatever you need to do before you come back to the conversation. Nothing ever feels like it's going to explode when you're with him. It feels like you can overcome any challenge that comes your way.

do you have any tips on drawing and stuff? im currently doing anatomy studies and such, but i was wondering if there were any specific tips that would help? if you're willing to share that is, lol

Anatomy studies r defo my #1 for learning how the body works/looks but I recommend not looking at just pictures! Look up videos of athletes (just bc their muscle structure tends to show more) in motion like runners, swimmers, boxers, yoga instructors etc. if you want references of larger physiques and how fat sits on the body I usually look up specific terms/sports like heavyweight deadlifters or boxers

There’s a lot of videos u can find on YouTube but I personally have lots of favs from TikTok of athletes who film themselves working out and sometimes just their bodies (thirst traps lol)

I think it helps bc u actually see the muscles in motion and usually watching videos will give u a better sense of how far a certain set of muscles can stretch and contract

It also helps if ur trying to draw the body from a certain angle or doing a certain motion but u don’t know how it looks bc depending on how specific ur pose is it can get really hard looking for ref pics sometimes

If ur going for a certain artstyle and want to improve ur anatomy but in a simplified/not so realistic way I also recomend looking up artists who emulate that level of realism in their art! One of my favs that I constantly look up to is noahdeaart on insta they do semi realism INCREDIBLY well and I’m a huge fan of their coloring style that looks great with the level of realism they draw

Looking at how other artists simplify very complex angles and sections of the human body is another reason to have a couple to follow and study

Also try not to just draw people staring straight on or in v static poses like in a textbook, you’ll learn more if you attempt drawing bodies in motion and in odd poses!

i think it’s ridiculous to expect people to make stuff for certain fandoms really consistently or to ask why they stopped making stuff for something because that’s just like, not a realistic approach to how liking things works, but since i haven’t posted any ace attorney since winter when i was playing apollo justice and i still love ace attorney, i do just kind of want to give my reasoning. there is of course the simple fact that there were other things i wanted to draw, of course, and draw them i did. but the reason there was a huge lull in ace attorney art?

i was trying to play dual destinies.

no joke. i tried to play all the games in chronological narrative order (trilogy -> aai/aai2 -> aa4 -> dd -> soj) and like. i adore the trilogy so so much, and aai was like... it had a lot of likeable elements but also a lot of problems and it dragged so hard. and then i got to aa4 and it was such a breath of fresh air returning to the good shu-takumi-directed proper ace attorney and finally meeting apollo and klavier and trucy and everyone else and i loved it.

and then i tried to play dual destinies.

guys, it’s so bad. people on here truly undersell how bad it is just because they like some of the characters (but in my opinion, i couldn’t even like, get attached to athena. i’m sorry. she’s somehow both severely overwritten and underwritten at the same time. you’d have to rework her so much to make her compelling and even then she and her story still wouldn’t fit into a sequel to aa4) but it is literally not at all worth it. i ended up dropping it a few months ago halfway through turnabout academy because i couldn’t take it anymore. and like, soj is apparently worse. the moment i made the decision to abandon it i felt better and started wanting to engage with aa again. like. god, dd is so bad.

anyway i’m now like halfway through professor layton v. phoenix wright: ace attorney and i recommend it SO SO MUCH. it’s such a blast it’s got a really strong story and excellent phoenix & maya characterisation and as always kazuya nuri’s art direction rocks and brings a really lovely cohesive and warm palette to the game (and like. the 3d models are SO much better than the ones in the yamazaki games it’s unreal. phoenix and maya look like themselves and are actually expressive and not disproportionate and not whitewashed either) and the puzzles are super fun (as are the layton characters but. i’m selling this to aa fans rn). it also introduces game mechanics that work really well but also serve as like protypes/the groundwork for mechanics for tgaac. it’s definitely longer than your standard aa game but in the good way, not in the “takeshi yamazaki can’t pace his narratives for shit and nobody in the dev team calls him out on it” way like is the case with aai2 and dd and that god forsaken final case of aai at the embassy.

i do agree with what u said in ur post bc to act like any team needs to bend over and drop everything for arsenal’s fight for the prem is very unrealistic and honestly kind of strange but also the helping city win the league idea comes from the fact that players were specifically rested for this game in particular and not the chelsea one on tuesday, which if that same incredible level of football was played then would have levelled chelsea and gotten two extra points already. i think ppl saying that liverpool want man city to win the league is very counter productive but at the same time there was a clear game that was prioritised over the other with a much weaker side and i can understand why arsenal fans would attribute a bias against them bc of that. anyway these were just my thoughts and i hope this came across respectfully, i think ur insights are very realistic and non confrontational in a space where people jump down each others throats all the time, and thats a very valuable thing to offer any community. hope u had a nice easter if u celebrate :)

i more have a problem with people implying we are intentionally helping city to win the league rather than it just being a consequence of the result of that game, like yes it did help city but its not like we did it for that reason, we are really struggling to win games atm so of course we are going to fight as much as we can, for ourselves and to advance up the table, not for anyone else.

to me it sort of made sense to rest the stronger players v chelsea, chelsea are in really inconsistent form and so are we, so maybe jurgen thought we might have been able to come away w more than we did against them with a weaker side. but of course we are going to bring out a stronger side against the league leaders. i imagine every other team is doing the same and has been doing the same with city, its not anything to do w the fact that its arsenal specifically, its the fact that they are top of the league and the strongest side in the prem right now, and so u obv need a strong side to try and challenge that. like. obviously that is going to be a hard match and we would need our best players. idk why ppl are only saying it about liverpool when every other team has been playing their strongest team against arsenal bcus of course they are, arsenal are in amazing form. liverpool desperately need points atm and that was the best players for us to even try and get some, and even then we only got a draw.

I have art elective and for out first assignment we had to choose candies and hot glue them to a piece of paper in contrasting positions and that would be our realistic reference (WE GOT TO EAT SOME CANDYS MWAHAHAHAH) so yeah and I did that and I was drawing and yada yada you know drawing

And I was pretty proud of it I thought I did the details well. My art teacher, who has so many things to say about every students art piece, DIDNT say anything about mine, nothing negative. She said that I captured everything wonderfully, and for her to have no negative feedback was once in a blue moon, and I took pride into being the blue moon girl.

And so I was proud of what she said. I told my friends in my art, and showed them my art, and all they said was just… good. No “that’s really cool!” Or “wow you did well!” Just… good. When I uprooted them and old them their art was actually so pretty like their elements were chefs kiss (it actually was!!! Like v cool) though they kinda have a little bit of flaws but I wasn’t gonna put them down, they were minor anyway so I didn’t care and knew I wouldn’t appreciate if someone pointed out my minor flaws.

It’s not like I was asking for something in return… I was just hoping for some uplifting tooo… like who doesn’t like compliments.. I would’ve appreciated some too… it makes me feel so selfish idk

Ans when I showed it to my parents they also just said “mm ok” like? Like it’s my parents now and I always try so hard to at least make them a little bit proud but they just hummed ok. I worked rlly hard on it too but everyone I’ve been showing it to just says… “ok, good, cool” :( some reassurance would be nice…

I was honestly quite surprised but the prompt sure wasn't easy to come up with, with various tweaking I finally get it to work. I used StableDiffusionXL for the reimagining.

My stance on AI bots as someone who draw and post stuff online is a mess. I usually won't accept the result if the AI given me drawing or painting, I only used celebs, realistic photo. Yes, I know even mediums such as movies and photography is a creative profession and that there are talented, hard-working people behind it, I appreciate their efforts and spirits in their craft. The AI images I prompted are for entertainment purpose only, they are the lowest of "art" but it satisfied my curious mind & that's more than enough for me.

I also realized that many of AI limitations and its environmental impact. I know everything I do is not justified for the use of AI for entertainment. This is a rambling post. I just feel I need to voice my reasons to start posting these AI-generated photos project as I named it:

ok so when deciding what kind of powrs i was gonna give her i knew i wanted them to be mental related. so like, all in your head kind of deal. so to name a few basic powers of hers -she can like make you hear shit,  put sounds in your head like whispers or the exact opposite very loud horrific screaming -kind of like phantom touch? so like non existent touches to a person that they can feel. not as much as a real touch but enough to make them agitated -my personal favorite: my take on dream walking so dream walking is where she’s basically at her prime. since the dream realm and the spirit realm are on the same hierarchical level in my eyes, and she draws most of her powers from spiritual and mental beings, she’s pretty fucking powerful in dream state. a downside is she never really feels truly rested because when she falls asleep her mind is still constantly working, its not really sleep. but she has her own little dream place she chills in

(its just a small open patch in a dense forest where the moonlight shines through, its always night there and the sky is v pretty, theres also a little creek and a few flowers she grew in her many nights there)

but dream walking allows her to invade other’s minds. it happens when, kind of like that rumor ppl say where if you think of someone hard enough before bed you’ll dream of them. yeah so that happens. so she can be in people’s dreams that way and manipulate them to a pretty massive extent.

(if multiple ppl think of her at once it kind of like fucks her up because she’s having to concentrate and focus on an endless number of possibilities in different scenarios. i would say she would be able to handle at most three. not like more than three people would ever think of her -sobs-).

so like she’s able to do things like will things into existence, altar something physically (like how wanda removed that dudes mouth) and the best part is that she’s always naked while doing it. bc witches are very much naturalists so it would make sense that in the place she’s most comfortable in, she would be nude. the whole “willing shit into existence” also works in terms of things like teleportation of sorts. so like for example if she wanted to teleport from a desk to a bed, by a very dumbed down explanation, she would think about sitting on the bed really hard. i mean like, what it would feel like to sit on the bed, what she would be looking at while she was sitting there, how she would be sitting, how the bed would sink under her, etc. like the most vivid description ever.

and the dream realm is also cool, i love developing it. so far i have this is how it works: so it can be anywhere, obviously, but the dreamer has to… basically know. so for example if you had a dream about your room, it could very much be your room. but this isnt just a normal dream, its like a freaky very lucid dream she can mess around with. so more often than not there’s situations where she’ll be in someone’s dream and something like a book will exist but it will be blank. because the dreamer doesn’t know exactly what is on the pages, they just know the book is there

alternatively if they forgot about the book it wouldn’t be there type deal

and it works kind of like render distance. so in cases of overactive imaginations, usually dreams are more filled and more realistic. but for others a dream may just be a room or a location in the middle of a fucking void.

she can also be in someone’s dream before they even fall asleep, if they’re actively thinking of her. she just kind of chills in their groovy little mind space until they fall asleep and end up there as well. most people’s mind space happens to be their room because it’s something they don’t have to think about really hard to know exists. it’s also where most people fall asleep at. but it varies from person to person and could just be a dark, ominous room empty of everything but a flickering light in the middle of it. (those people are often scary to deal with, and also really, really boring most of the time).
