#Kusuo learning from Akechi that competition can be fun and playful and not like. Torture.#And then learning that Kuusuke despite his shitty brother-isms is deep down seeking that exact thing #but just doesn’t know how to approach it #because of how their relationship functioned for years and how they both are #Like don’t get me wrong Kuusuke is uh. Not a good brother and his inferiority complex lead to him hating and mistreating his brother for #Many Years #And I don’t think this scene functions as forgiveness exactly (Kusuo still has resentment towards him in later arcs)#But I think it’s a moment where he realizes they’re both on some level really lonely people #Who have been fighting their whole lives #And being like “hey I don’t hate you. Let’s be friends instead of enemies.”#And Kuusukes response being “I should really be the one saying that to you”#I just. Like it’s a Start.#IDK like Kusuo was completely justified to hate his brother especially after something like the catgun arc #But he doesn’t and I think it’s because he realizes that his brother genuinely doesn’t hate him anymore #Their whole deal is just really interesting to me but idk how to phrase my thoughts on them coherently #The only thing I wish this arc had was Kuusuke having a “what did I do to you” moment but it is a comedy and we already got that from tori #so ynow #i just say he had that moment post meteor #does any of this make sense #Also it makes me so emo that he pictured akechi

#my art #not my art #both #trolls #dreamworks trolls #they had a lot of fun making these #i actually really love the color palette for princess i think my cpusin did a very good job on that #claw is something else #he is a unicorn troll #neon green was an interesting choice but hey claw is an interesting guy #is it obvious idk how to draw country trolls lmao #ever since i told them i also liked trolls we have had our own little club #im their person who they can talk to about it #they will also just sit and ask me to draw tiny diamond and guy diamond over and over and over and over and over again #they really like tiny diamond #but hey i love those little guys so i draw the trolls they demand of me #they also asked me to draw poppy and branch so they could color them #i still have to finish my viva coloring page for them #the younger of the two who made princess is really good at color picking and color matching #she colored poppy without a ref and its p accurate to her colors #the older one who made claw used the ref for every color but he got pretty close when he tried to guess #the older one also misunderstood me when i said id been practicing art since i was 5 and thought i was this good since i was 5 #he was very depressed for about 15 minutes #it was really funny but dw i assured him that was not the case #but like for those 15 min he did not believe me #even his sister was like 'nono you didnt hear it right' but he was already in the emo zone #he was fine later tho and continued on making his troll #and also proud teacher moment but i had taught princesses creator some art techniques off handedly #not expecting her to remember any of it but then she did and apparent shes been using it ever since #im like omg i actually taught another human bsing something its insane

This may be an unpopular opinion but I GENUINELY really miss the vibe of Umbrella Academy season 1. It was so fucking emo and that just felt Right.

#i know people really like the bright fun goofy vibes of s2 #3 is more divisive but I think it was still largely going by s2 vibes #i dunno I've just started a pre-s4 rewatch after a long time not seeing it #so i will have more thoughts later #but aside from the 'god please light your scenes so i can fucking see them' critique which you can apply tomost dramas these days #i genuinely love s1 in it's edgy emo-ness #you can feel that it's based on a Gerard Way comic #gets off to an absolutely banger start with the lindsey stirling phantom medley #and idk i think i preferred the show when there were silly bits and they were v fun y but we didn't undercut everything with jokes?#later season vibes are a bit more disney/marvel #also s1 is before they fucking gave up on trying to give diego his fair shake as a compelling main character lmao #i love you diego 💛#and god rob sheehan was absolutely fucking SLAYING s1 with his portrayal of the klaus/dave story #that scene where he reappears from the past on the bus with tears and bloody hands still fucks me UP #and then they just kind of rushed through the dave thread in s2 and started mainly using klaus for comic relief #idk s1 was emo as fuck but we got to spend so much time with these characters and their unpleasant messy feelings!!!#just thinking shit don't mind me #mr. bees speaks
