Most Disturbing Animated Kids Show Competition!
have you ever seen something from a children’s show that was so disturbing it made you think “this was made for kids???” Well, we’re going to vote on which show is the most disturbing! disturbing in this context refers to moments, themes, and concepts which are scary/disquieting/nightmare fuel.
There will be four rounds of voting. The first round will have sixteen brackets, the second will have eight, the third will have four, and the fourth will have two. For the first and second round, each bracket will be up for twenty-four hours. I will decide how long each bracket in the third and fourth will be up as we approach the date.
The shows are as follows:
Adventure Time
All Hail King Julian!
Amphibia
AtLA
Camp Cretaceous
Carmen Sandiago
Clone Wars
Danny Phantom
Dead End Paranormal Park
The Dragon Prince
Ducktales (reboot)
Gravity Falls
Hilda
Infinity Train
Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts
Miraculous Ladybug
My Little Pony
OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes
OTGW
The Owl House
Rapunzel: Tangled Adventure
Rebels (sw)
RotTMNT
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
Star vs the Forces of Evil
Steven Universe
Summer Camp Island
Teen Titans (2003-2006)
TMNT (2012)
Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia
Voltron: Legendary Defender
My criteria for this list was ‘western animated shows that started after the year 2000 and are explicitly for audiences 14 years old or younger.’ I have not watched all of these shows, but I have watched over half. If one of your faves didn’t make the list, I’m truly sorry. Tell me which show and I’ll include it if I do something like this again. By ‘most disturbing,’ I mean the show with the most disturbing concepts, themes, and/or moments.
The brackets will be organised by the show which started the latest against the show that started the earliest. Then, the show that started the second latest against the show that started the second earliest, and so on. Here is a diagram:
And here is the matchups for the first round, in the order they will be fighting:
Teen Titans vs Dead End Paranormal Park
Danny Phantom vs Kipo and the Ages of Wonderbeasts
Avatar: the Last Airbender vs Camp Cretaceous
The Clone Wars vs The Owl House
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated vs Amphibia
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic vs Infinity Train
Adventure Time vs Carmen Sandiago
Gravity Falls vs She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
TMNT (2012) vs The Dragon Prince
Steven Universe vs Hilda
All Hail King Julian! Vs RotTMNT
Rebels (sw) vs Summer Camp Island
Over the Garden Wall vs OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes
Star vs the Forces of Evil vs Rapunzel: Tangled Adventure
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir vs Ducktales (reboot)
Voltron: Legendary Defender vs Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia
Propaganda is welcome. Please reblog this post for a larger sample size. The first poll will be up in twenty-four hours

The Golden Rebel and Lord Ballister
This is for @goldenheart-week, day 7 roleswap au
If you're wondering where (comic) Nimona is, Ambrosius told her to make a distraction/mayhem while he talks/flirts with Ballister.
(Explanation of the stories undercut)
(Both versions) Ambrosius is a really good fighter, even though he is disabled, he can fight.
A monster attack happened, which led Ambrosius to be disabled and had the scars.
Ballister tries to have a proper conversation with Ambrosius.
Nimona tries to make some mayhem while helping.
(Movie version) Ambrosius is still the descendant of Gloreth but in this version she was a very known thief/pirate that brought the monster in the kingdom 1000 years ago. Ambrosius shows that he can be good and trains to be a knight.
Ballister is the nephew of the Queen in this (that's how he gets his Lord title).
The monster attack happened during the knighting ceremony, after Ambrosius got knighted.
(Comic/Novel version) Ambrosius is still flirty/sassy with Ballister, but with a mix of Peter Pan (thinks that everything is like a game).
The monster attack happened during the challenge.
Ballister is done playing the 'game', because he's worried that Ambrosius will get more hurt or even die. He also knew what really happened on the day of the challenge/monster attack (don't worry he didn't do anything, he saw either the Director or another knight put something in Ambrosius' bag but he did nothing...)
