i’m glad you asked bc i have thoughts on this!! i got the idea when i was playing through TP a while ago bc there was a line of dialogue from Auru about the oocca creating the hylians from clay (neat little creation myth that is sadly never touched on again iirc…). it got me thinking… if they created the hylians, what if they could also alter hylian bodies? which then tumbled into the idea of Midna and Ooccoo being good friends to their pal Link.

i think the cost would be pretty cheap?? if it cost anything at all. the oocca seem like they don’t really care for money,, i mean, the first one Link meets offers to teleport him in and out of places for free. i personally like free healthcare, so i say it’s free.

as for recovery, also pretty easy. she either teleports them away OR it’s some sort of magic clay surgery?? (Link asks for the cool scars bc he wants them) either way, i assume it’s a mentally and physically exhausting process. so Dr. Ooccoo prescribes plenty of time in the hot springs for her patient 🙂‍↕️
