I feel like it's time to retire this icon but I've literally had this icon since 2011 and i feel like replacing it with more recent art or my new fursona ("new"-- I've had this wolf for years lol) would somehow cause reality to collapse on itself like if the gods decided to just delete the concept of gravity bc they were sick of it. Me having old ass art of a confused lion as my tumblr icon is just one of the constants of the universe at this point.

so when did tumblr break their t.umblr.com external redirect links. isn't this the second time they've done this. third maybe?

#the last time they broke their redirects I had to add javascript to my custom theme to strip them off all my links #(well actually I'd added that code before the links broke. bc................. wow who could have seen that coming! anyway.)

#scribbles #margit oc #oc refs #very very happy w this design after messing w it for awhile. initial idea for the inverse spiral was a tabard and the other two having--#--some weird medieval theming as well to parallel morri+friends' shared rainy clothes but i just could NOT get it looking right. the cape--#--still fits for it so maybe ill revisit yuliya + keep it more in mind w cattail #margits pretty under the influence of the weeping by this point. got real freaked out over the Possibility of it shortly after the lovers--#--death and took to redirecting any '''standard''' grieving (apathy. depression. etc) towards thoughts of violence without realizing the--#--slow twist from 'i want to kill somebody' to 'i want EVERYONE to die' and the greater presence self destruction gains in her day to day--#--train of thought. she looks at yuliya and wants to tear herself apart to make the woman smile for just a moment bc of how frightening--#--the weeping is to margit without ever realizing how deep in it SHE is #still clinging to the idea of this whole thing being an eventual rpgmaker idea so cattail (weird + rare possibility) and especially the--#--idea of them joining up w margit AND yuliya is very sparse rn. theyre gasoline on the fire of the worst codependent connection possible

if i had a nickel for every time someone has been entitled and weird towards a creator. for depicting conflict and characters that do bad things that are depicted as bad things in the context of the story. and told them to change it. id have several nickels

#ive legit had anons in the past tell me to redirect the entire arc of an rp they werent even in #just bc they found it upsetting that we were exploring themes of generational trauma and familial conflict in it #i dont know what to say to that i think you should understand that sometimes an author makes characters do bad things to progress the story #and not because they have some kind of agenda where they think thats a good thing. its important to understand context #(note: this rp was viewable via blogs it was not closed to the public)#labz.txt #poster's pox
