Daily Magic: May 9, 2017 Astrologers have been warning us for weeks to brace ourselves for tomorrow's Scorpio Full Moon. A full moon in Scorpio? Oh noooooo... cue the retro image of a shrieking crowd running down city streets.
As a quintuple Scorpio myself, I have a different take on it.
Life as a Scorpio in a world that fears {re: desires} sex, money, death and dark things hasn't exactly been easy.
But nothing surpasses the intense passion of the Dark Feminine embodied by goddesses like Lilith, Kali, Hekate, or the goddesses of the underworld. Still, that's another topic.
With the illumination {stark realizations} of a full moon, coupled with the powers of Scorpio, what does this mean for you?
A Scorpio Full Moon is about releasing what's hidden. This usually comes out in one of two ways: anger, or tears, and possibly both.
Our emotions can catch us off guard because we like to keep that part of ourself buried in the shadows, hidden even from our own self. Emotions make us vulnerable and open - ripe for love - and that can create even more fear than we're already cradling in secret.
Let's talk about anger. In this case, we're not talking about losing your stuff because somebody didn't acknowledge your performance piece. That's just an ego hurt of probably a Leo. Or it could be today's Mercury conjunct Uranus in Aries. Watch for unexpected news throwing you off kilter, and keep working on those flexible negotiations with partners.
Scorpio anger is much more intuitive and it goes much deeper. You might wake up tomorrow morning and want to throw out EVERYTHING that bores or tires you, such as your entire life.
Or you might be angry at the world. This is a powerful force that can be used for protection, justice and self-empowerment, or as a tool for violence and harm. We reap karma either way.
But the first step is to allow your heart to rage instead of holding it in. Be angry at the social injustice. Be angry at the ignorant holding political power. Be angry that the person you trusted lied, cheated, or broke your heart. Be angry at your own guilt. Or be sad, and feel the despair.
"Forgive yourself for taking shit from others." - Maryam Hasnaa
If you can relax in solitude, and allow your very natural anger or tears to flow without resistance, you can wash out old stale energy to make room for something brand new.
After emotions run their course, you'll awaken to a brighter, clearer, shinier world.... Just remember to love and honor your dark side too. Both the light and the dark have their risks. But they also have their divine purposes. [Image from redneckexplorer]

These are fantastic images. Almost appear to be covered phosphorescence...
Thank you kindly!  I definitely prefer the thought that they were lovely and glowing over their being stricken with some kind of discoloring leaf blight, lol.

Fantastic!!!!
I appreciate that, thanks!
I’ve definitely learned something since I began exploring. During my initial visit here I was more concerned with ‘getting in and getting out’. This little strategy of mine served me well during my first solo exploring adventures. After finally crossing the mental barrier of entering a building that clearly wasn’t open to the public, I simply wanted to limit my exposure to legal and safety threats. The less time I was in an abandonment, the less time to fall through a floor, breathe asbestos, or bump into addicts or the law.
The problem with GIGO is obvious. You simply don’t have the time to really explore, relax, and set up shots. So I returned with the intention of seeing as much as possible in here, and I explored the 2/3 of the complex that I hadn’t already seen. Many of these shots, this one included, were from the unexplored area.

I went to the most heavenly store yesterday. Detroit Garden Works can now be checked off my bucket list but it won’t be my last visit. 😩🌷🪺
