Who says the episode title phrases in each episode of Wolf 359?

I've created a spreadsheet to show which character says the episode title phrase (i.e. the words which form the name of that particular episode) in every episode of Wolf 359. (Please note: I’ve focused here on which character first speaks the exact title phrase within the episode itself. In some cases, this is not the only - or the most significant - time that the title phrase is spoken.)

Day 7

I finished the first sleeve! Only one more to go. I have short arms, so I did have to make some changes to the pattern to make all the decreases fit in the sleeve, and I have some ideas for next time to make it fit me better, but so far I'm happy with it! Hoping to finish the second sleeve tomorrow but I don't know if I will be able to based on how long the first sleeve took me.

I've also used about 2 less balls of yarn than expected. The first sleeve only took one ball of yarn, so I'm anticipating the second to take the same, bringing my total to 7 balls of yarn (approximately 1400 yds) vs the 9 balls I expected (a little less than 1800 yds). I'm not sure if the pattern just gave a lot of wiggle room or if not, where I used that much less yarn, but I have about 1000 yds of this yarn left over, since I usually buy a little extra just in case, and used less than expected. If you have any ideas for what to make with what's left, let me know!

Whew, this one took a while, dude carries a whole arsenal on himself. Argo is one of the characters I've had a lot of difficulty with consistency, but I think I'm getting better at it.

Sorry just looking back at it, I really do think G3 sacrificed having good fashion in order to have good character design. Which like, if it was just the cartoons they were rebooting, then like sure. But all I'm saying if any other doll brand in the year of our lord 2023/2022 come out with tye-die shorts with frills we would have laughed them off the market but it's Monster High so it's fine

I think it succeeds a lot at times, for example, no matter how much I don't like G3 Clawdeen, not gonna lie, they really got that 'quirky protag girl' vibe incredibly well with her. Or how the G3 Werecat Twins personalities show so strongly though their designs, but dear god WTF is Meowlody wearing.

But on the other hand it's not like good character design and fashion are antithetical to each other. Like not only was this the reason G1 Monster High got so popular (that and it's gothicism) but G3 HAS put out nice looking fashion pieces before!

#Also it's not as related to the tangent #but the styles of the individual ghouls have become so much more... homogenized?#Like I don't think it's consistent for all of G1 but most of the main cast had strong personal styles #Frankie was alt prep Lagoona dressed casually with a -surf crush- influence #Draculaura was Lolita-adjecent and just overall very dated #Clawdeen wore a mix of rock fashion and statement pieces #Operetta was a rockabilly Ghoulia base doll was heavily scene then followed by a consistent 60s look #Robecca was steampunk Rochelle dressed like an emo Parisian chic.#But the only characters I'll say have a clear distnct style in G3 is Frankie and Drac #the rest of the main cast have been reduced to mostly motif patterns.#Like Clawdeen's and Cleo's Fearidescent outfits have almost identical construction.#idk maybe I'm judging too early for G3 a bit with this one #they generally seem to be improving the designs #and perhaps when they finally venture out of the main cast the personal style of the rest of supporting cast will show #monster high #Monster High G1 #Monster High G3 #my post #rambles #ohh boy here comes a bunch of tags #normally I don't tag posts like this but I want someone else to chime in on what they think about the fashion of G3 and G1 #IDK I've gotten more into contemporary fashion history and fashion as a whole and it's made me a lot more appreciative of G1

star trek fic and orv got me thinking about the concept of Noble Self Sacrifice and how that plays into self-destructive tendencies and the tragedy inherent in knives doing all that he does so that his little brother doesn't get eaten up by humans

and what happens instead is that vash blames himself. vash decides that if anyone should get hurt, it should be him.

knives: humans will never be able to consume you!! vash, giving bits of himself away and eating away at himself via guilt: like this?

For this workshop, our lecturer Sharon, helped us condense down our original mind maps for radius as all of our ideas were still too broad.

These two minds maps allowed me to focus in on one idea for my project and on one particular place in limerick, St Joseph’s Church.

I decided then to put my focus on the patterns I found outside the church.

I absolutely will! I'm not quite sure where the line is between creature and monster, and there's probably some overlap, but I feel like this one is definitely on the creature end of the scale lol

#ask away!#itsbumblebunnybee #I tried to create a dinosaur pattern and it turns out it makes an okay dinosaur but an excellent creature lol #there are modifications I can make to the pattern to make a better dinosaur base #reduce the slope of the back and the bump of the head #(not visible in the creature because of some creative sewing after the seam had been sewn to cover it)#and possibly extend the neck? or not extend the neck and just add back spikes #but at that point I'm running up on cholyknight's dino patterns #which are excellent dino patterns!#so I think I will let this one stay a creature pattern and not try to modify it into a dinosaur
