Your coworker that you were posting about seems really yucky. Honestly I have no idea what you should do, but making it very obvious that you don’t want to hang out with him and telling your boss about it would be the best steps in my opinion. Also since he has an accent that you can’t easily understand, texting might be a good communication method. Just know that it is completely okay to feel uncomfortable and that there are people here for you. I love you platonically boo boo, stay safe. Someone’s probably pointed this out more eloquently than me already, but it's really cool the way Reigen and Suzuki directly parallel each other.

Like they keep being compared, the first time is when Reigen takes his place at the seventh division and we see him shatter this organization’s ideals with only his confidence, charisma, and strong moral character.

Then it happens again with Shimazaki, when he wonders if Reigen is the powerful leader of a strong organization that’s been gathering in the shadows. But the truth is that he’s not, he’s powerless and people gather around him simply because he is good and he is a good leader.

Then we see it with Suzuki himself. He says that Reigen must also be ‘someone who tricks people and steals from them.’ Because he’s got no powers himself, yet these powerful espers, mob, and all the others, follow him loyally.

And when he says it, you almost think he’s right, that they’re similar in that way, but the juxtaposition this places him and Suzuki in is so stark. Because Reigen scams people for his living, yet he still he doesn't take without giving something in return, we see it with how he runs his business, with how he teaches Mob.

But that’s all Suzuki does, he takes from people. And yeah, Reigen did lie to Mob and use him for his powers for a long time, but we know he also genuinely cared along with all that. We can see just how much he cares by being up there, risking his completely non-psychically powered life to go help Mob because he cares for him so much and wants to be a good mentor.

And that’s what’s so important about the difference between them. Suzuki uses fear, intimidation, and manipulation to get people to bow him, where Reigen uses kindness and trust to lead. It’s his genuine connections to people that make him so unlike Suzuki, who believes he can have the whole world, without having a single person who will actually follow him. And that’s what this whole show is about, of course, how important your connections to people are.
