“So how did you and your husband meet?” Me: “I was perfectly fine *snaps* I lived on my own *snaps* I made up my mind I’m better off being alone... “ @taylorswift there is no doubt I will absolutely lose my CHILL in the Snake Pit on May 22nd!!! My family and I are driving up to Oregon for rep Tour Seattle and I can’t wait to watch you shine. It feels like just yesterday I was watching you play your guitar on stage opening for George Straight. I’ve never missed a tour since that day!

So this one time, I went to see @taylorswift for the first time and one of my friends thought to record me as she came on stage. There is a 100% chance I literally vibrated for at least 2 hours before the show. I also very narrowly avoided having a panic attack from the excitement (thank you deep breathing). It was a magical night that I will never forget.
I did not think I would get to see her this time around as I have a small child now (9 months old as I write this) and would have had to buy a ticket for him and the concert starts at his bedtime and that just sounds miserable for both of us. At the time when tickets went on sale I also didn’t anticipate having childcare and he wasn’t yet sleeping through the night. He is also still breastfeeding so it would be a bit much for me to be away for a full 2 days which I would be because the closest show to me is in Seattle (a 5 hour drive). I was totally resigned to this and decided I will catch her again next time and probably bring my son for his first concert. Then, in March, my mom was here for a visit to help me after a minor surgery and we got to chatting one day about why I wasn’t going this time. I realized that our situation has changed and now I have childcare, and he sleeps through the night which means that if I left the day before and drove back first thing in the morning he would only need a small amount of breastmilk which I could definitely pump, and my hubby could take him to daycare and I would be there in time to pick him up. I decided to see if there were even any tickets left and how much they were. They were reasonably priced (for higher seats) and I started to get a bit excited. My mom suggested that maybe my hubby would buy one for me for Mother’s Day and I was like “Nah, he wouldn’t do that, he’s so not a fan”. So she decided to buy me a ticket…. and pay for a hotel… and come with me to watch the baby while I go see Taylor slay the Reputation Stadium Tour.
I have my outfit ready to go and can barely contain my excitement at the fact that I see her again in 15 more days!!! I don’t even care that I am going by myself, I’m going to have the BEST TIME EVER!!

This is the biggest tour stage I’ve ever seen. Oh, and this is only stage right of the main stage. There’s another side to it, plus 2 other stages, not pictured. It’s SO BIG that there’s a “rocket chair” under the stage, to get Taylor from one end to the other, in time. 👀 SHOUTOUT TO THE STAGE CREW who tears this beast down and puts it all back together again, show after show, securing everybody’s safety. SHOUTOUT TO PRODUCTION for prepping the backstage area for Taylor and crew, and all of you under the stage that make this show happen (while wearing 3 headsets) - sound, lights, pyrotechnics, confetti cannons, props, camera work, stage action - keeping organized chaos behind the scenes so that everything above the stage looks flawless. Oh, and keeping Taylor alive while she soars through the air (twice), no big deal. SHOUTOUT TO WARDROBE for doing the dirty work, literally. Laundry ain’t fun. Thank you for keeping all of the tour outfits organized and immaculate, doing quick-changes, keeping track of a million accessories for Taylor and everyone else onstage... no pressure. SHOUTOUT TO TOUR MANAGEMENT for coordinating schedules, booking accommodations, scheduling flights, updating daily itineraries, planning last minute events. For. Every. Person. On. The. Tour. Who needs sleep? Obviously the show wouldn’t happen without Taylor. But it takes HUNDREDS of people working behind the scenes to make a tour happen. Without ALL of these people, she’d be singing to us from a stool with her guitar (though we wouldn’t complain). THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH for bringing Taylor to us, and allowing her to put on an incredible show. ❤️ @taylorswift @taylornation photo by @shanita911

Taylor has been an inspiration to me since 2005. The term “Swiftie” wasn’t coined yet, especially given that I didn’t know specifically who she was at the time either (scroll to my first post to see the story!) I just knew she was a young girl who had the courage to perform, and I hoped with everything in me that I could do that someday.
Fast forward 13 years, I love her more than ever and she constantly gives me new reasons to be inspired by her. I am so proud to call myself a Swiftie. I have enough of a control on my social anxiety now to be part of the online fandom most days, and honestly, it’s been a huge part of why my experiences this era have been as memorable as they have been.
The reputation era has been absolutely amazing, and it continues to be. I am endlessly grateful for every single person that made this era’s experience exactly what it was this year (and a HUGE congratulations to Taylor for continuing to break numerous records!!) I’m so excited for TS7, whatever and whenever that may be. Long lives the walls we continue to crash through, the kingdom lights will shine for us forever 💖
Over the next few days, I will try to recap all of the things that made Arlington as amazing as it was. It’s just been incredibly hard to find the right words and funnily enough, I get so overwhelmed with happy I just want to keep them my own 🙈 but I do really want to share too! In sweet time ✨

Taylor has made me the person I am today. Yeah my parents helped, but we all know who was the true influence! Ever since I was around 6 years old Taylor has been apart of my everyday life. She’s taught me to grow and taught me to be myself no matter who watching. It’s ok to cry and it’s ok to laugh, and smiles can bring out the best in people! The top left photo is my first day of kindergarten! (Yes I was REALLY tan, I played outside everyday day.) The top middle photo is me at my first concert! The RED tor was absolutely a life changer and I wouldn’t have changed that day for anything! The top right photo is me when I first got my “no it’s Becky” shirt in the mail! I was so happy and put it on immediately! NOW ITS TIME FOR THE MIDDLE ROW! The left middle photo is right after my older sister did my makeup for the Seattle Rep Tour! She’s good at makeup and I was excited that she was coming over to the house just to do it! The center photo is me at my little sisters birthday party, it was a unicorn party and I wore a unicorn onesie, bows, and lots of glitter in my hair and on my cheeks! This photo really shows who I am! I love wearing onesies and glitter! And the candy choker just added to the look! The left middle photo is me when I was bored and I was taking selfies in the mix of eating a bagel. I decided to add the bagel in the selfie a couple pics in because I thought it looked good 😂 (it tasted good too!). FINALLY, THE BOTTOM ROW! The bottom left selfie is me on a fairis wheel with my little sisters. I love hanging out with my family and I love the pretty colors on the rides! I had to take a picture! The middle bottom photo is me ‘modeling’ , my sister was doing my makeup (like I said, I love when she does it) and we took her ring light outside, I threw my hair up in pig tails and took photos of each other!!! Last but not least is the bottom right picture! My mom took this of me during the 1989 tour! I was higher up, but it didn’t take away from the experience... the light up bracelets were born this era and seeing each person in the stadium light up was magical! Taylor definitely thinks of fans when she’s planning her tours. Everything is for us and I’m so thankful for that! She’s an amazing icon and I can’t wait till the day I can thank her in person!

My husband and I might be able to make it to @taylorswift concert in Seattle. We weren’t going to be able to make it for several reasons so we’ve waited to buy tickets. Well it seems like we may be able to go, it’s going to be a last minute decision, so I’m trying to gather info! I was wondering if the floor tickets have actually seats. My husband has injuries to his knees from his time in the military, so he wouldn’t be able to stand the whole time and I want him to be comfortable! Taylor has meant a lot to me since following her on MySpace, just a little awhile ago 😂, it feels like she’s written the soundtrack to my life. This would be a very special night for my husband and I if we are able to go. I’ve never been to a Taylor concert so I need as much advice as possible!!!
