PLEASE DO NOT GIFT ME BADGES

Tumblr is getting rid of avatars and no longer showing where a reblog comes from in post headers to “afford more room for badges.”

I always felt kinda bad when I was gifted badges and then didn’t use them, cuz people spent actual money on them. So I’m asking, please do not gift me badges, or any other tumblr merch for that matter.

I threw them a bone last year and paid for the ad-free because the ads and blazed softcore porn on the app were infuriating, but I’m canceling it. They’re not getting anything from me anymore. I’ll have to switch back to using the Firefox mobile browser. Hopefully the new dash un-fuckers that are going around will work on mobile.

What they look like: He's clearly seen better days. Edward is no longer the young, fresh-faced man he was back when he worked at the GCPD, his face instead having become hollow and gaunt due to months if not years of neglecting his health due to mental decline. His single-minded focus on destroying Batman leaves taking care of himself a secondary task, but he's clearly lost weight and become a pale shadow of his former self. His clothes are noticably baggy, with plasters hap-hazardly slapped on cuts, scrapes and bruises that probably haven't been properly cleansed. His cold blue eyes burn with vicious intensity, his mind still a keen blade but dangerous to wield. What they smell like: Machine oil, cheap energy drinks, grease and soot with a bit of grease of his own. Desperately in need of a good shower or three to rid him of such musty aromas. What they taste like: Various energy drinks, whatever crappy junk food he might have recently eaten and mouthwash when he remembers to brush his teeth. What they sound like: Come on, you've all played Arkham. Riddler rarely shuts up, his tone varying between a range of curious, playful and downright obnoxious regardless of whom he's speaking to. Those who've earned his ire are subjected to an array of vicious mockery and taunts, denigrating their intelligence and likening them to lesser creatures. Edward can come across as affable to newcomers or those who've piqued his curiousity but haven't outwardly done anything to earn his wrath... yet. When speaking through communicators, his voice can sound eerie due to hissing static - an effect he uses to rattle anyone listening and prove his superiority over them. What they feel like:ㅤ Firm and rangy beneath those baggy clothes. Edward's physique has become drastically lean though still strong due to hauling metal and machinery around in his workshop. His skin is coarse and greasy due to the amount of work he's been putting into his workshop and his lower jaw is covered with stubble due to the lack of recent shaving. His fingers are rough and calloused even beneath those thick gloves of his, his strong clever digits showing off the bone structure beneath his thinning frame. His body temperature is unusually high, probably due to the lack of rest and manic amount of work in which he's thrown himself into...

....Hey, Stargate was decades ago, which is another country, and a few days ago I was reading that fic in which John finds Ancient TV, do you know which? It was cool. Anyway, in the far past that you'd know more than me about... how did people watch serials, other than when they were running? There were CD's being sold, or something, right? Would SGA cast have any reference for, say, finding Ancient Disney+? Also, was piracy over Internet... different from how it is now? What experiencies would SGA guys have with this stuff?

Are you talking about Blu-rays? I'm not from the US myself, and when I was a kid we just waited for the DVDs to come out or cable TV, which still aired late episodes

Piracy is, in some ways, better and worse now than it used to be. Anti-piracy laws are looser where I'm from, and streaming services weren't as accessible (or as convoluted lol) but from what i understand there will always be tools if you just looked for it. I have my own approach to it (IF i ever pirated anything, but seeing as I'm a good member of the civilized world, I cannot POSSIBLY conceive of such an idea) but you can always look things up

SGA guys' experience on...piracy? serial TV? Are we talking about the cast, or the characters?
