I too would rather be a creature than a human

or a robot, mythical beast, energy presence, or...

People cannot fathom non-humanity. People cannot imagine that someone would be happy as not human. Most people do not want to be non-human. Most people are happy being human, and don't wish to be anything else. Most people don't have a desire to be non-human.

Most people would be unhappy being an animal or another non-human being. It's in stories everywhere. Becoming non-human is some sort of divine punishment, or a lesson for the characters, or something temporary. It's rarely ever something that is accepted or permanent.

This post doesn't have a point really. It's just an observation that there's a reason they think we're absurd. It's just me going "wow, I cannot understand them the way they can't understand me, I cannot understand why someone would want to be human". Idk
