headcannon:
everyone who has ever seen you and sugawara together thinks you’re dating. the first couple times it happened, both of you had laughed it off— you and sugawara? please! he’s your best friend. but when it started happening more often, you couldn’t stop yourself from imagining it. reating your head on his shoulder was a normal occurrence for you, but you suddenly started thinking anout him leaning down and kissing your forehead. watching movies on your couch, sitting a little close, you wouldbstart thinking about what it would be like to lay in his arms rather than beside him. and then came new years. of course you drank, because who wouldn’t? the ball dropped and, surrounded by couples kissing and with a little bit of alcohol in your system, you turned to sugawara and planted a kiss on his lips. is it just the alcohol or did he just kiss you back?
TLDR; you and sugawara have been friends for years, will one drunk night ruin that?

NOTES So, something quite funny happened before this reading even began, and it has something to do with that reading I mentioned before, the BTS Bias Breakdown reading, a reading that was going to be included in the countdown event but it ended up being huge and there just wasn’t enough time to include it. In that reading, there was a significant element for Namjoon involving the Loss card from the Oracle of The Radiant Sun deck, which came out and seemed to demonstrate his direct guidance for his soul group that exists within the overall soul group within ARMY. It was a whole thing, very detailed, and while I was meditating on this reading here, this card kept coming to mind.
I then wrote a whole bunch of notes about it, went much further in on it and followed the process that it was laying out, showing that Namjoon’s trial is not one of karmic balancing (which can register as “punishment” from poorly informed perspectives) nor is it one for higher development, it is one of demonstration. His trials show him relearning a map he already drew out eons ago so that he can be a tour guide “up the mountain” and “through the trees” — something that came up in the Bias Breakdown.
Anyway, the funny thing is, in the main Saturn’s Trial reading, the top center card is meant to be the Saturn card from the Oracle of The Radiant Sun that matches the person’s Saturn placement in their chart. It provides focus and messages based on the meaning and images of the card, just as a baseline focus for the reading. And guess which card is Namjoon’s Saturn in Pisces match! It’s Loss.

See, now I really do wish I could have done the whole Bias Breakdown so you could have the reference, but I suppose I can explain things here, and then this can be a reference for that going forward. Boom, problem solved. So, Namjoon as an individual soul is guiding people through light and dark, specifically from the inside-out, from within the self to the outside world. The lower image of the card, the crow scraping meat from a skull, is the internal, more personal process of self-analysis and exploration, a very visceral reflection of shadow work or operating in the lower realms of the subconscious. This would be Namjoon on his own and would mostly reflect his own personal trial.
In the image above, it reflects Namjoon’s personal, individual mission or soul purpose, acting as a guide, teacher, or leader through elements of duality, primarily shown as elements of Light and Shadow. In the top image, we can see a few people present, and the closest pair of people appears to be a man and a woman, with the man gesturing in such a way that it seems like he’s presenting the landscape to her and the people's children in the back. What was standing out to me in this image is the fact that the house itself, and part of the yard, are cast in sunlight, while a very harsh line of shadow runs across the lower part of the yard. This is what the man is presenting, or this is what Namjoon is meant to be presenting to people, especially his soul group. In short, what he is meant to do is show, demonstrate, how the shadows, the darkness, the negative elements of life internally and externally, are a part of the same wondrous image, something to be appreciated rather than cropped out.
In the same way one might crop out the shadows in the top image to make a more “pleasing to look at” photograph, someone may have tossed out the skull in the lower image, deeming it useless, vile, or disturbing in some way to keep around. Namjoon, as the crow and as the man in the upper image, is finding appreciation for the darkness, for the heaviness, for Death and Decay, alongside Light, ease, Life, and Regeneration.
There was quite a significant note being made for Namjoon’s singular soul group which was all about elements of fear and how fear (directly connecting to shame, hatred, anger, and resistance) can essentially be one of the most devastating natural disasters to hit a soul’s progression while moving through the human experience.
“To fear something is to inherently submit to its perceived power. To submit to a power outside of your own is to commit self-sacrifice. To sacrifice yourself is to damn (lose connection to/drop in frequency/fall from grace) your own soul. This is the only sin you can commit.” — This was the main lesson being distributed through his soul group by him on a higher level.
There was a reflection in the idea that, down to the most primal, physical aspects of the human mind, darkness is something we all fear as it takes away our ability to survey our surroundings and conduct ourselves with surefootedness, leaving us feeling vulnerable and on high alert. This fear is a primal response that reverberates upward into the highest levels of human consciousness, including the higher unconscious where the soul plugs in. Within this space, we can, as we have before, especially with Namjoon and Jimin, observe souls, who exist beyond ideas of fear and separation, hesitate to initiate new phases of their destinies out of fear of what will come next, latching onto old systems to linger in comfortable familiarity, and essentially work against their desire, knowingness, and power. All of this because of a primal human instinct that is hardwired into our brain and nervous system.
It’s not something we can work out of our system, and it is not something that anyone can just “get lucky” and not be born with — even the people in the world who seem to live without fear oftentimes are not living without it, they are actively attempting to operate against it. To operate against something, you have to acknowledge its existence or its power on some level, you can’t deny something, “not believe” in something, and deliberately work against it at the same time. Fear of the dark is a constant and foundational pillar of reality within the human experience.
This is something I was exploring on my own some time last year, the idea of resistance or opposition being its own form of submission, in the sense of a submission to belief. I was thinking of it in different areas of life, the most extreme being the idea of some Christians low-key worshiping Satan without realizing it, seeing evil in everything that is not familiar to them, holding fearful and negative superstitions, and in a way demonstrating a lack of trust in their God. It’s a subtlety in context, perception, action, and speech that can easily be missed if you’re not intentionally trying to observe it, but I find that most people, especially in terms of the “fear of God” motif, do not actually believe in God and instead hold more of their belief, more of their submission, for Satan/The Devil, for what they claim to fear.
On another level, I was thinking about the idea of people who either believe or don’t believe in the paranormal or things within the occult, primarily ghosts, psychics, and astrology. The thought stemmed from the idea that indifference is an option amongst believing and not believing, but you don’t often hear the indifferent being part of the conversation — which, you know, duh — but the point is you have non-believers who are often quite vocal, sometimes even more vocal than believers, and this never made any sense to me. If you don’t believe in it, my mind tells me you would automatically be indifferent as it would not register as something that is part of your reality, and yet, you see it everywhere, it triggers you, makes you angry, makes you judgmental, commands you to speak against it… why??
The most common response to such a question seems to be that person wanting to “tell the truth” or bring clarity to people they believe are misinformed or just downright insane, but we’re not talking about matters of wider public concern like politics, the economy, or the influences of structured religion on these factors, we’re talking about personal spiritual awarness, beleifs, and practices that for the most part are often pretty low-key, solitary, and often regarded as being part of media and entertainment… in other words, completely harmless and easy to avoid if you wanted to. There is a keen type of anger and resentment that drives these people to speak, to insert themselves in spaces they were not invited, to “just check in” and see if their all-knowing clarity is needed, and with it you can gague a level of egoic projection, a need for validation which says they, under everything, are not trusting SOMETHING. They’re not trusting what they’re saying, what they believe, what they know and experience, and something in this space brings that into question, and it upsets them greatly.
Some people can admit that they “don’t believe in ghosts” because they are more comfortable believing that there is simply void and nothingness when we die, and once you get them to say that outloud, their mockery and aggravated rebuttals simmer down, but there are some people who will just push, and push, and push to the point where it almost seems like they’re inviting you to fight back, inviting you to join them in their uncertainty, demanding that you too feel just as unsure and just as much of a need to validate, validate, validate.
It went on and on, lots of other examples, but it came down to a realization that the “Belief” and “Disbelief” fell into the same category, where I’ve put “Life” and “Death.” They are often regarded as opposites of each other and, of course, a standard dictionary will tell you that, but through a broader lens, I really can’t see this being true anymore. In simple terms, you can say something was alive and now it is dead; someone believed in this and now they do not believe. Something is there and then it’s not, which registers to me as substance. Life is a substance, Belief is a substance. Death and Disbelief are a lack of this substance, but not the opposite. Life runs through a continuous loop where Death and Decay are parts that contribute to a cycle’s renewal or the ongoing of a cycle that never ends. Life is all there is, with Death being an element. In such a way, we can look at Belief as being a constant, a representative of the conscious awareness of all that is, with Disbelief being an element within that constant awareness.
With that in mind, we can return to the concept of Fear and how it is relayed as a submission to or a belief in something that can do harm, overpower, or hinder you in some way. Namjoon’s soul group is and has been learning how not to fear the dark by standing within it and looking at it alongside the light, standing in the negative and looking at it alongside the positive. In this, there comes the “opposite of submission” but not to the extreme of domination. Instead, I was seeing this as an easing into trust, trusting that the darkness you have come to know, the unfamiliar that you have now recognized and embraced, will not do any more harm to you. It can not harm you so long as you are aware that there is light.
If you fear the dark/The Devil, you do not trust/can not see the light/God. To live in fear is to live in a state of submission to something you may be claiming to be above or out of alignment with. To be able to stand in the dark, to stand next to The Devil/Satan/Evil and not cower or even really think about it, to even engage with it in a politely passing type of way, shows a trust in the dark that stems from a trust in the light. If you live with fear, you have condemned yourself to the lowest aspect of the human experience: submission, restriction, and dehumanization (sheep/herd mentality).
Now, the element of denial is in here too, because denial is directly connected to fear, and can be directly connected to disbelief, such as what I mentioned with people choosing not to believe in ghosts because they are afraid of the possibilities of an afterlife. When I visualized this matter of denial, it just frustrated me more, because what I was seeing in these very vocal nay-sayers was them pushing against a wall that they insist is not there, punching with bloodied knuckles against a wall they swear is nothing but thin air. To actively and very deliberately deny something, to work against it, is to, on some level, insist that there is something there, that there is some validity, force, or power behind what you say is not real. It’s so strange and it’s so frustrating because you have to assume that there is a deep lack of self-awareness, self-denial somewhere in there to have such an odd position within something and not, at the very least, choose indifference for the sake of preserving your ego.
The process itself, the one that I was seeing Namjoon having a map for, one he had to relearn in this lifetime and then demonstrate to others, is reflected in the Loss card, as well as in his birth chart where we can see his retrograde Saturn in Pisces trining and playing off of his Jupiter, Venus, and North Node in Scorpio. According to the chart I was looking at, it had his Saturn in the 3rd House and his Jupiter, Venus, and North Node in the 11th. I wasn’t sure if this was an accurate birth time, so I won’t focus on that too much, but if it is, it’s showing a consciously and deliberately initiated internal self-communication and observation occurring in the 3rd House followed by a soul-initiated, externalized, coded expression delivered to the masses in the 11th.
The influences of Pisces and Scorpio are very relevant here as these are the Water Signs that carry shadows and fog, unlike Cancer, which remains illuminated in the subconscious and emotional space, heightening expression and emotional input. Scorpio and the 8th House is where things are deliberately hidden away, either consciously through intentional masking or covering up, or subconsciously through such things as repressed trauma and ego-based blindness to personal insecurity and fear. Pisces and the 12th House exist beyond the glass ceiling of the human experience, which is found at the edge of Aquarius and the 11th House. Within the Neptunian fog, Pisces and the 12th House contains all that we do not know and could never know as human beings on a grander level, while, on a more mundane level, represents things you don’t know about personally as they’ve just never come into your awareness, or they have not been discovered.
Nothing is deliberately hidden in the 12th House, as that would require someone to know about it. It’s always been a pet peeve of mine that people still associate prisons and institutions with Pisces and the 12th House, as they fit there momentarily at a time when they were hidden establishments that no one knew about, and a majority of the collective had no awareness of them at all. But the second there was an exposure back in the day to the conditions of these places, people deliberately hid these things, and many other people chose to look away, leaving it a matter of the 8th House and Scorpio, not Pisces.
Namjoon’s Retrograde Saturn automatically puts his trial on an inward slope first and foremost, as a planet in retrograde will create the inverted focus, putting it more in the realm of self-reflection or a more deconstructive system. With that Retrograde Saturn in Pisces, the aspect of deconstruction and redefinition becomes deeply connected to the soul, a much deeper sense of connection to the self and the world that can be quite abstract. This processing becomes more visible through Scorpio when he begins to project it and lay it out, having it register as more of an emotional and subconscious process of self-exploration. Even while Namjoon is known to be quite deep and broad with his scope, this would suggest that we’re only seeing maybe 10% of what is going on inside of him, but it is possible that his soul group, considering they may share similar processes, would be able to feel or sense those additional markers, pathways, and destinations that are laid out in the map that he shares.
Regarding the map itself, the process was demonstrated to me in very simple steps that began with needing to discover both Light and Dark within himself:
Begin life disconnected from the Light, deeply entrenched in the focus of external darkness — his externally oriented judgment would have been a tool in this process as a teenager.
Reflect the darkness of the world within himself — would register as self-hatred and insecurity.
Alchemize the darkness within himself — creation through the purging of this darkness, it raises the frequency, human creativity and creation boosts frequency.
Generate Light externally through that release of creativity.
Recognize the Light in the world that he generates, this would reflect within himself, seeing his creation create something good, something bigger than himself.
Lose track of the Light — become overwhelmed with what he has created, feeling pressured, unfit for the position.
Inherent position and perspective forces him to recognize the good and bad alongside each other, forces him to see the Light and Dark both in himself and the world around him, creating a dynamic and dualistic frame of reference.
Remove fear and shame of the Dark, coexist with the Light.
Guide others through this process through demonstration.
“Love yourself” — love the Dark, love the Light. Do not hide yourself, see yourself. Do not silence yourself, speak yourself. Do not fear yourself, trust yourself. Believe in yourself.
GUIDELINE READING Here, in the guideline reading, which just adds context and focal points for the main reading, there is a big emphasis on the idea of learning to add structure where structure is deliberately taken away, something that could align with the higher process of finding Light, then losing it, just to balance it with dark and create an unbreakable sense of inner awareness and self-connection and acceptance. This reminded me a lot of what I’ve mentioned about the 3 of Swords. I talked about it in that Taekooker Vs. Jikooker video, but I’ll explain it here as well as, again, it could be something good for his soul group to know as well.

A while back, in a personal reading I was doing for myself, I was guided to look at the 3 of Swords in a new way, which completely changed my mindset around this card and many obstacles and setbacks in my life that I face and continue to face. Originally, I viewed the 3 of Swords in a way that more so aligns with the 10 of Swords, an undeniable end being brought to an idea, vision, hope, or dream that is represented by the heart in the image. The three swords, representing aspects of reality, words, and thoughts that are sharp, clean, and logical, rip through the heart and create the storm that we see. In my reading, I was guided to focus on the fact that, in this image, we do not see the heart bleed, pop, or fall, but instead retain its shape and position in the sky, even while caught in a storm.
While the swords can represent obstacles, setbacks, or second-guessing that is brought to a vision or dream, it is not something that is meant to burst your bubble, deny you, or make you want to not move forward with something. Instead, it is there to apply more structure, make you plan things out better, consider weak points that you may have been blind to before, something that could trip you up in the future if you don’t address it now.
The example that was running through my head was the idea of a person very suddenly, spontaneously, without any planning, deciding to go on a road trip. They pack their bags and get in the car only to realize they don’t have enough gas to make it to where they want to go, nor do they have enough money to fill the tank and keep it filled for the duration of the trip. If they were to view this through a lens that is more suited to the 10 of Swords, they would think a road trip in general is now completely impossible, would throw the idea away completely, and maybe even be angry with themselves for thinking of such a thing and experiencing that disappointment. Through the lens of the 3 of Swords, however, there is still potential.
With the 3 of Swords, these obstacles are taken into consideration and, when the person goes back inside, they begin to make a budget to save the right amount of money for not only gas but also hotels, food, souvenirs, and they communicate their plans to their friends and family, expanding on it and even adding other destinations into it. These setbacks that they faced did not HAVE TO lead to them giving up, it had, as all obstacles do, the potential to help them solidify their idea, turn their dream into a more concrete plan that could be followed through on much easier.
In this way, when I look at the 3 of Swords now, I do not always see swords stabbing a heart to kill something off, I don’t see “harsh reality” slapping someone’s hope in the face, I instead see bones being added to skin, supports being applied to vision that holds it in place, makes it stronger, so strong that not even the biggest storm imaginable could knock it out of the sky.
Just the same, this is something that seems to be quite prominent with Namjoon’s trials, learning to see the potential within setbacks, learning to see spaces of support within the cracks he finds in his foundations. Especially with that Virgo energy rolling through there with “6th House” over the Earth Element — Stability, and Riches (Saturn in Capricorn) and Inheritance (Saturn in Scorpio), having to find the best in every situation, to make something out of nothing, to be resourceful and innovative in times of crisis or major elements here.
That section in the lower left corner of the spread carries a lot of weight and seems to register quite strongly with his physical and conscious level of experience. Again, this set includes the Earth Element — Stability, Riches (Saturn in Capricorn), Inheritance (Saturn in Scorpio), along with the Sprinkle, “6th House” and a black Sprinkle which is meant to point out traces of what I like to call the “Black Pond,” or traces of the 8th House, the lower subconscious, lower frequencies connected to negative feelings, thoughts, and experiences.
There seems to be a lot of strain there with building something, creating structures both in a physical and mental sense, creating security and stability for himself and others. This is a very pressurized thing that I’m sure would relate to his position as the leader of BTS, as well as his desire from a young age to make something work, to not be a disappointment, to make it all seem worthwhile for himself and the people who have supported him from the beginning, especially his parents.
On the far right side, at the bottom, there is a higher perspective on this matter through the 6 of Swords and the 3 of Wands. The 6 of Swords represents the entire lifetime he is existing in, with focus put on the creation of structure, movement, and security for himself and others. The 3 of Wands is his current standing. In the 6 of Swords, a person is shown to be rowing a boat with other passengers, implied to be an escape from a bad situation in the hopes of finding a more peaceful place somewhere in the unknown distance. In the 3 of Wands, we see a man standing on a cliff, looking out over the ocean as ships come and go, meant to imply a businessman either watching his products be shipped off or waiting for resources to come in that he can use to continue his business. Between these two, there is a transition from self-driving, self-navigating, constant, straining effort to stay afloat and a seeking of security to a stable, secure standing where the money, the work, the success is self-sustaining. Numerologically speaking, this is a transition from a 7 (deliberately stimulated energy) to an 8 (self-sustaining energy, infinite production and projection).
Over this entire set, he has “don’t worry about this,” coming through very literally as, “you’re past this transition, you are in your new standing, relax.” Which is then emphasized with the Sprinkles over the 3 of Wands on its own, which say, “settle down now,” and “no ulterior motives,” or, “you can relax now, you can breathe, there are no more trials for you here.”
In between these two lower sets is the card Bloom, which feels to be bursting through the cracks of these two sets, something that feels a bit hidden away or unnoticed, as if through these processes and trials, he was not fully aware of how many seeds he was actually planting, how every step contributed to the stability and rooting of everything that was to come later, everything he has in the 3 of Wands.
At the top, going back to the idea that “there are no more trials for you here,” The Comic at the very top was quite an odd thing that seemed to throw me all the way into his teenage years. It was rooted in self-hatred, the sinking into darkness, a lack of clarity, and a sense of abandonment. The face of the cat in the image, which has human eyes underneath, making it look like someone has skinned a cat and is wearing their face (this card really does freak me out sometimes, easily my least favorite), which here gave me this feeling of a dunce cap, or a sign of embarrassment or mockery.
It’s such a specific thing but the combination of “interesting…” leading over into Remembrance with “cellular level,” the number “6,” which connects to free-will and self-empowerment, going back to the progression of 7 to 8 between the 6 of Swords and the 3 of Wands, and “a place to remember” over Building Blocks, there is this idea of him asking questions, trying to connect with and seek answers from something beyond himself, looking for guidance, which he was denied intentionally so that he would have to learn on his own, figure things out, and remember and draw out that map. Over The Comic is also “ask us now,” which felt like it was bouncing off of the 3 of Wands. There’s a feeling of pride, of his Guides being very proud of him, literally smiling and saying, “You did it, you made it, you can ask us now, we will gladly answer you.”
Expanding on the trial and the process, bouncing off the 6 of Swords is Building Blocks moving into Visualization and Self-Mastery, which both have a Sprinkle going over them that says, “you are better than this.” Since Self-Mastery was hidden underneath Visualization, a bright card hidden under a darker one, it gave me the feeling of this being an aspect of self-hatred or denial, an idea where his image did not line up with what he wanted to be or what he thought others wanted him to be, his Self did not line up with a certain vision he had in his mind. Visualization represents a kind of box that he, at one point, wanted to fit into, but his Guides and soul were saying constantly, “you are better than this, you are so much more than this.” With that, Building Blocks, all of his experiences, all of the seeds planted, were building him higher and wider, well beyond the capacity of whatever that box was.
The Sprinkle that says, “daily gifts” laid out between Building Blocks and the 6 of Swords, showing again this idea of seeds being planted every step of the way, blessings and gifts hidden within his trials, obstacles, and struggles, that would contribute to that foundational bloom.
At the very center, and this is something to keep in mind going into the main reading, he has an interesting combination of Sprinkles that came out together that don’t feel connected to anything specific. The Sprinkles “I’m gonna miss you,” and “this is flexible,” come together to create this feeling of grief, something that seems to be a foundational element to Namjoon’s experience in this life but in a more abstract way, that is “flexible,” or something that can be flowed through. I’m seeing this opposing the idea of the 5 of Cups, where we see a person somewhat trapped in their grief and disappointment. To say Namjoon’s grief is flexible feels like it’s saying he can or does move through it quite well; it hits him softer in a way, despite the pain being quite tangible.
I was also seeing this connecting to past versions of himself as well as other people, recognizing on some level the necessity of moving on from experiences, people, relationships, beliefs, and mindsets. Doing it with a strong heart, but still really going through it on a conscious level. There’s an urge to cling on, to go back, but there is always an urge within him to let it pass by, let the people leave, let past versions of himself fall away. I think this kind of reflects a trait of his soul, where he knows when it’s time for something to end, but there’s still quite a stress there to the idea of what is to come next.
One of the last notes I made for this reading says, “all to prove to himself that there are no ulterior motives, that he was never being punished.” And with this, there is an element of peace brought to pretty much every single aspect of this guideline, the peace that is meant to be felt in the 3 of Wands, the ability to look out over the entire ocean, to look back at the entirety of his experience and see that those storms, those waves, were a natural process, were roads he was rediscovering, were passages that he was able to lead others down because he was meant to, because he always knew how, because he has done it before. It was never a punishment, he was never a bad person, he was never wrong, he was never risking himself or others. He was just in the process of blooming.
MAIN READING WITH SPRINKLES!
SATURNIAN FOCUS: LOSS — SATURN IN PISCES SATURNIAN INFLUENCE: DIVINE MASCULINE + NO PLACE LIKE HOME / UNIVERSAL LOVE + BUILDING BLOCKS The key influences of Saturn here for Namjoon, or more specifically his trial, is based on an interesting reflection between the Divine Masculine with No Place Like Home and Universal Love with Building Blocks. With Divine Masculine, I can see the self-isolation aspect with the house that hangs high above the ground, along with the idea of emotional isolation in connection the Divine Masculine. There’s also a heaviness there with the dark blues and blacks that feel to reflect the element of personal shadows, self-hatred, and personal denial, possibly more of what was coming through from his teen years and 20s.
This then follows over into Universal Love and Building Blocks, where a lightness begins to build, but there is certainly a strain to it, like walking up a mountain, or even building a pathway up a mountain, step by step, as he was ascending it. This connects more to the idea of stepping out of that house, out of himself, meeting the world on a much broader scale. The ascent up the mountain, in some regard, could even line up with BTS’s ascent in the public eye. It’s connecting back to his North Node and Jupiter in Scorpio, a trek upward through the Black Pond to meet the world, to connect with the collective.
The Sprinkle that lies over it, lying between Loss and Universal Love specifically, says “the soil is too dry!” This is about the idea of someone facing an obstacle while trying to plant a seed, while trying to get something going, the environment not being as supportive as one may need or want it to be. Again, lining this up with BTS’ uprising in the world, as well as Namjoon’s struggles in figuring out where, when, how, and to what degree he can be honest and still be accepted, there’s a strain here were it feels to be a heavy load to push upward, like clawing your way out of a sinkhole, able to see the sunlight at the top, but feeling the weight of the darkness and the pain in your body the whole time.
There’s also an interesting reflection between the numbers on the cards, with Divine Masculine being number 22 and Universal Love being 44. The mirrored numbers in general reflect the aspect of general self-reflection, but also reflection with the world, it is his trial of internal and external reflection and navigation, then being doubled on as it is delivered to the world as a map of internal and external reflection and navigation through Shadows and Light. You can even see the doubling with No Place Like Home being number 50 (5) and Building Blocks being number 28 (2+8=10). 5 would be a place of isolation, stagnation, or entrapment, while the number 10, with 1 passing through the portal of 0, or pure potential, being a space of constant movement and progression that he found in his meeting with the collective, with his uprising, something that lines up with that visual of climbing up and out of a sinkhole, passing through the opening like a portal out into the sunlight, out into what could be seen as the 3 of Wands.
STATE OF THE SOUL: THE SHAPESHIFTER POSITIVE KARMA: THE THRESHOLD + THE UNSEEN + THE KING NEGATIVE KARMA: THE EMPTY ROOM THE TRIAL: PERCEPTION + REMEMBERANCE (REV.) + BELIEF (REV.) DESIRED GOAL OR DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOUL: THE DEAD END + THE TEMPLE + THE FLAME + THE WOMB This is the main meat of the Saturn’s Trial reading, and typically, these would all be read as separate pieces, but all those Sprinkles tie everything together in a big web, so we’re gonna have to look at this as a big picture.
First, I want to point out the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen in a reading — that set of Sprinkles in the very center of the reading, “I’m gonna miss you,” and “this is flexible,” came out together again, stacked the same, and landed in the same position at the center of the spread just as they did in the guideline reading. I can not adequately explain to you how diligent I am when mixing the Sprinkles between readings, since there are so many of them… the fact that these two came out together again and in the same spot… I mean, “cellular level,” and “ask us now,” also came out again, but at least they switched up the vibe a little bit. These two Sprinkles are carrying that same energy that laid detached from everything else, projecting an overall grief and sign of this grief being malleable or something that can be moved through easily for him despite the pain he may feel.
This set of Sprinkles is lying over Perception, which is marked as representing the main focus of the trial itself, being feathered out into Remembrance and Belief, both of which came out in reverse. This seems to highlight the perception of grief, loss, separation, light and dark, positive and negative, and so on. Something about how this is laid out here feels very clinical, like I’m looking at someone’s medical records at a eye specialist’s office, seeing someone being prescribed some kind of eyewash that will help them to clear up their vision regarding Remembrance and Belief, or all of what I was talking about with moving through trials to remember the maps he already drew around the idea of Fear and Trust, and Dark and Light.
At the very top center, Namjoon has The Shapeshifter representing the state of his soul within his Saturnian trials showing that his soul is actively transitioning or experiencing a restructuring of sorts, which could line up with and be more dependent on the state of his soul overall as a passive conduit as was shown in his Elemental Alignment reading.
Representing his positive karma, or positive developments and reward within this trial, he has The Threshold, The Unseen, and The King. Just visually speaking, there’s a clear connection between The Threshold and The King, which is talking me back to the 6 of Swords and the 3 of Wands, the transition from one to the other, the transition from dark to light, from isolation to connection, from silence to expression. The images themselves even mirror each other with the person’s feet in The Threshold standing in the dark, preparing to jump down into the light, while the hand of another person reaches upward through the darkness, toward the light in The King. With both of these being cast under The Unseen, there’s an element of this being something that would be quite personal, as in The Threshold stands as an element of the soul integrating downward, and The King being an element of the conscious mind rising from within. Both of these matters wouldn’t be fully expressed to the outside world, but the expression and creation that is prompted by these transitions certainly would be.
The King also stands as a reward, a position of absolute personal rulership that can not be taken away, one that lines up with the integration of the Soul through The Threshold. A level of perceived power, confidence, and stability pulsing out of The King and seems to stand as a “final form” of sorts that follows The Shapeshifter. This also brings to mind Namjoon’s position as the Crown in the Soul Body.
The “ask us now,” Sprinkle lays over this set, specifically over The Threshold and The Unseen, which brought to mind again the 3 of Wands. The man in that image is standing on the edge of a cliff, and in The Threshold, we see a person standing on the edge of something, seemingly about to take a leap of faith. There’s a call here for Namjoon to connect to his Guides, to find ease and certainty in their messages. The message is even laid out here with the other Sprinkle that tethers this set down into the reversal of Remembrance, which says, “divine timing at play.” This came through very clearly with the idea of Namjoon standing on the precipice of something, which could reflect his conscious level anticipation of a “new life” or a “new chapter” coming out of enlistment, where he is unsure of what to do and when. It’s like we can imagine him on the edge of that cliff, even feeling reminiscent of The Fool card, as he hesitates or lingers there, ready to jump but unsure of when the right time is. His Guides are projecting security, certainty, and reassurance over him saying, “relax, you’ll know when to jump, divine timing is at play.”
This being interwoven into Remembrance, which was reflecting the trials around remembering the maps he already drew up in other lifetimes, shows that his Guides aren’t just asking for him to connect with them, they’re asking him to connect with himself, to trust himself, and trust that he already knows when the right time to jump is. With the onset of The King, they want him to trust himself so much so that he never asks “when is the right time?” and instead would think “when do I want to do this?”
Namjoon’s negative karma, which, again, is not something that is meant to be understood as a punishment, but rather is a challenge presented for the sake of learning and building on yourself for the better, is represented by The Empty Room. This bounces off of what I was seeing with No Place Like Home and the Divine Masculine, where there was a sense of self-isolation and limited expression. With The Emptry Room here, I’m very focused on the visuals of space, giving the idea of a wide reaching mind, a cosmic level of vision that was, at one point, and perhaps still now to some degree, trapped within that space of isolation, trapped behind walls of fear, insecurity, self-doubt, and a desire to preserve the position of himself and others. The Empty Room stands as walls he needs to break down, possibly over and over again throughout his life to constantly affirm to himself and demonstrate for others, personal authority, free will, and the right to express and create freely.
The Empty Room, playing off The Unseen a bit, also feels like a blind and deaf audience, the idea of speaking out into an empty room where there are people, but people who can not or who refuse to listen and see what he is saying and doing. He would have to constantly be moving over the mental hurdle of, “Will they understand this? Will they like this? Is there a point to this? Does anyone care?” every time he puts something out.
He has pretty direct guidance there with the Sprinkles that lie between this card and two others. Between The Empty Room and the main trial of Perception, he has, “follow passionate inspiration,” and between The Empty Room and reversed Belief he has, “don’t listen to them.” This is so interesting to me because the connection to Perception is giving him the tool or know-how to shift his perception, his focus away from the empty room, away from isolation and to instead follow his passions, which would have taken him out of No Place Like Home and into Building Blocks with Universal Love. Alongside this, having “don’t listen to them,” connected to the reversal of Belief, which is centered on elements of self-doubt and the aspect of submission to the fear of people’s judgement… like??? It’s just straight up like, yeah, don’t listen to that bullshit, move freely, keep talking, keep creating, you’re generating something that most people won’t be able to fully comprehend without another 100 lifetimes under their belts.
In relation to the desired goal or development of the soul through this trial in this lifetime, he has quite an interesting setup here with four cards that build on each other, with The Dead End being at its base. The Dead End lying under The Temple, visually and in terms of their general meanings, really reflects what I was seeing in terms of him climbing the mountain, clawing his way out of a sinkhole toward the sun, and moving up through the Black Pond. There is a clear division between Light and Dark, and even a separation between Belief and Disbelief. The Dead End is the starting point, the detachment from light, sunken into the shadows, feeling trapped and having to work through a lot to get out, just to reach The Temple, a space of self-belief and an inner divinity.
There’s even this interesting connection between the images of the hands where we see, in The Dead End, a hand reaching out as if asking for help or seeking something beyond the vines, but in The Temple, as the hands are clasped in prayer, it’s like help came when he took his own hand, when he met himself halfway, when he allowed Light and Dark to mingle within himself, and then from there allowed it to mingle out in the world.
On the outer sides, he has The Flame and The Womb, and the images on the cards have The Flame moving upward while The Womb is moving downward. This made me think again of what I was seeing with The Threshold and The King, where The Threshold was the soul jumping down, and The King was the inner self moving upward and outward. Here, The Flame shows an illumination, a guidance moving upward, while The Womb suggests creation moving downward. As in, his creations from a soul level move downward through him, are delivered into the world, and these creations, these expressions of his, ignite flames, generate a light, that then guides people upward, higher, up a mountain and through the trees. This is the overall goal of the soul — to make it out of The Dead End, map the course, and guide others through.
Between Perception and The Flame, there is a Sprinkle that says, “flying.” This brought to mind a hot air balloon, the heat causing the balloon to rise in the air, similar to the idea of the light, a higher frequency lifting souls and consciousness higher into the air. There is a deliverance of ease and a sense of feeling lightweight, as if, especially in his soul group, people can feel as if he or the community around him are helping them carry the weight of their own trials, helping them ease the fear, strain, self-doubt, and sense of limitation by providing that light, encouragement, and positive example.
HOW TO WORK THROUGH THE TRIAL: 2 OF PENTACLES + 10 OF PENTACLES + 5 OF SWORDS This set shows either pieces of assistance, guidance, or tools for progression through the trial, or it can show a sequence to move through to ease through the trial. For Namjoon, this feels like pieces of a broader puzzle with focus on balance, stability, security, and clarity, which was pretty much what we were seeing in his guideline reading. The 2 of Pentacles and 10 of Pentacles connect back to the Earth Element — Stability, along with the references to the 6th House, and Riches and Inheritance. The 2 of Pentacles is the literal demonstration of balancing the internal and external world, doing so in a very open way, very consciously. The “I’m fine,” overtop feels quite stabilizing, a self-encouragement rather than a self-shutdown or denial of struggle. It comes through more as a, “It’s cool, I got this, I can make this work.” There even seems to be a feeling of orchestration here, like a technician mapping out places for wires, or a chemist mixing chemicals. Something quite deliberately being woven between those two pentacles, between what he does for himself and what he does for others.
The 10 of Pentacles is a drastic upswing from the 2 of Pentacles, where there is a self-sustained stability and abundance. The transition between the 2 of Pentacles and the 10 of Pentacles is the same transition marked between the 6 of Swords and the 3 of Wands in the guideline reading, even showcasing the deliberate stimulation of energy (7) in the 2 of Pentacles and the 6 of Swords moving into a self-sustaining system of energy (8) in the 10 of Pentacles and 3 of Wands. The 10 of Pentacles also matches up with the energy of The King, and with this being connected to The Dead End through the Sprinkle that says, “sudden departure,” this feels to be reflecting a more conscious and physical level occupation of the 3 of Wands and The King energy, mindset, and position.
The 5 of Swords is focused on cleaning and clearing out something to do with either his own mind or the minds of others. I’m seeing it as him picking up and cleaning words, which could be something to do with the, “don’t listen to them,” which he could do for himself, others, or both. This was also making me think of that bit I saw in the ARMY Outlook Reading about them being given the idea or inspiration to talk about how the “growing pains are not real,” in relation to the idea of becoming an adult and having to “lose your youth,” or “not being able to go back,” suddenly having to strip yourself of your joy, wonder, and inner child, and instead replace this with the understanding that life simply moves as it has always moved, you love as you have always loved, you find joy the way you have always found joy, you face pain the way you have always faced pain, you do so with more confidence, more self-assurance, more personal authority, and absolutely none of that is anything to fear, resist, and deny.
He may be, with The Shapeshifter even, in a process of resetting his mindset, may be going back and rewriting things he’s said, preparing to change his stance on some things, clearing his mind of these metaphorical “dead ends” in life that we apply based on age, and preparing to share that as a way to clear the minds of the people who listen to and follow him.
With the way these cards fall in the reading, the 2 of Pentacles connects to The Flame and is an element of the uprisings, while the 5 of Swords connects to The Womb, showing this to be something he will deliver, create, and share on a more conscious and physical level.
And that’s all I have for this one, thank you for reading! :)

ngl if bts' comeback doesn't involve
-RM having to retcon some timelines
-Taehyung finding some way to die or gravely wound himself but maybe he's also a demon
-Seokjin catching on via hints from universe-bending flowers
-Yoongi burning something down
-Jungkook bawling his eyes out OR existing in some purgatory state
-Jimin dancing to distract himself from everything
-Hobi trying to figure out the demon thing alleged earlier
-Hooded figures looming in the background, and
-English vocabulary words written on parts of the background set
then i don't want it

i'm the worst kind of bts elitist, i insist dark & wild is their best album, i brag about liking the prologue mix of butterfly better, i'm the bitch crying about how shit butter is and how "i miss when they were hip hop"
#dark & wild is so good#... man#what am i to you-- rm's vocal delivery in the latter half of the song is so goooood#danger-- she's a classic. the mv is so funny watching a bunch of teenagers in egregious eyeliner jump around but she has banger qualities#war of hormone-- this track is a crime against humanity and she's a banger while she's at it. jhope's part 😍#hip hop phile-- trust a bts song to start with an appalling beat 😭😭 i confess however i love this track#let me know-- kinda nasally i know the fandom really likes this one but eehhh . rapline is good as always tho#rain-- the spiritual successor to 13430 but more groovy. she bangs so hard. suga always whispering 'suga' before his verse 😭#cypher 3-- i like the other cypher's better this one suffers from having supreme boi on it. this has the suga bisexual line tho so W's ther#what are you doing now-- 40 seconds of groovy sounds what more do you want#could you turn off your cellphone-- A BANGER what can i say??#embarrassed/blanket kick-- this song gave us chaotic fake making out choreography#24/7=heaven-- jungkook gets a bad rep these days but boy can sing#look here-- this song is STRANGE it does not sound like a bts song at all but i still really like it#2nd grade/sophomore-- underrateedddd ass banger. the year after debut was so frustrating for them and you can really feel it in this album#do you think that makes sense?-- explain it guurrlll man i love this album#i remember when the persona album dropped i got hopeful it'd be a return to form with the intros/outros/interludes#uhmm kinda was but it was immediately followed up with butter.
