Quite a lot of progress today. Health bars, the ability to drink milk, proper weapon damage and some code to sort sprites to make things look a little more aesthetic, enemies have their own sprite with animations, both the player and enemy can die and I’ve added something to limit the total number of enemy spawns and keep track of kills. The infrastructure for the game feels almost complete, even....

Bit more progress on the Rev Jam. Milk is now an item randomly spawned around the map you have to pick up and hurl at your enemies. Also added sprite animations for the player. Tried to make the style something I could very quickly draw given the short time-frame of the jam itself. Pictured a couple of them below:

They’re rough around the edges, absolutely. They’re also missing arms! But its real fast to produce these things and they only have 9 frames of animation total. I should be able to make enemies a bit more visually diverse with this style, hopefully.

As for the game itself.. I feel it needs some additional something I’m just not sure I’ll have time to add it. We’ll see…
