(I don't know if RG is a BT shipper, nor do I care, I'm just amused that they seem to think saying Tommy is insecure is an indication of non-shipping.)

The issue over Olivers btw pics is really not a debate anymore. During 8a there were indeed pics of everybody on set with Oliver at one time or another but not of Lou. People speculate about why that is, some say because Oliver doesn´t like Lou, some say Lou doesn´t want to be in them because people will be assholes about it, but that does not change the fact that it is noticable that Lou is missing in those pics. Oliver posted pics of people that are not core 118 i.e. Brad, he also does not only photograph at emergency locations (I heard that argument, too) and even if he was, Lou was on set for an emergency during 8x15. Lou specifically gets excluded from those pics, I just think there is no point in denying that at this point. We just don´t know why and it is not important. Buddies want to make a big deal out of it and read meaning into it and I think by inventing possible "rules" that could explain his absence from those bts pics or even deny that is his happening we play into that narrative. Oliver does not post pics of Lou but of other castmates. Doesn´t matter why because it´s irrelevant.

I will still say that posting any photo of Lou is not worth it for either one of them. Both will get insane hate, and harassed to no end. But I also think it doesn't matter in the end. Oliver is free to take and post whatever pics he wants, and no one should make decisions on how that reflects on his life/friendships. This is not about you, nor necessarily about this fandom but, if we complain about Bobs assuming RG and Oliver are together because of the photos, we should not assume things we don't know about Oliver and Lou's irl relationship.

The hate the mustache is getting is nuts. This fandom is sooo dramatic sometimes. That mustache can actually be a good sign of Eddie coming out. Mustaches are a staple in queer men's culture. Also Ryan looks hot no matter what. The way people are calling him ugly because of a little upper lip hair makes no sense to me.

I am compelled to share thoughts on 911 s8 ep16 developments, I have truly sunk low.

In isolation, the Athena grief storyline was very touching, and I got what they were going for. Did it feel a bit like they were mocking fans who thought Bobby was alive? Yep. But it was written before all that started, so unless TM did extensive reshoots (I mean...they ARE really far behind on shooting...) I think it's just unfortunate, not malicious.

Burying Bobby with his first family was a beautiful sacrifice on Athena's part, and I loved it.

The Eddie situation is weird. I can't help thinking there's actor drama, because this kind of thing happened before, like on Buffy, when Xander was kept out of an episode and used less, and it came out years later it was due to BTS issues. The Buddie part of me wonders if RG doesn't want to have Eddie be gay, because his interviews are so weird about it.

I'm new to watching 911 as it airs, but their shooting schedule seems so chaotic: filming and editing a week before an episode airs? Moving scenes and plot lines with short notice? Huge plot points being spoiled on Tiktok? I know the LA fires caused problems, but I can't think of any other show that operates like this. Feel bad for the crew and actors.

the switch-up on bucktommy/tommy slowly but surely happening over on twt and tiktok is crazy. for months they painted tommy as the devil incarnate but now that they're "giving up on canon buddie" because of the combined effect of 8x15 and that one RG interview, buck and tommy are suddenly "kind of cute together" and tommy is "soooooo in love with buck i hope he comforts him" ??? but i thought tommy was dismissive and never liked him? 😒

i suppose it's never too late to join the winning team 🤷‍♀️ it just goes to show that their many, many "criticisms" were always disingenuous and rooted in the simple fact that buck wasn't kissing the guy they wanted. though tbf some of them never disliked bt/tommy to begin with, and only ever felt pressured to act like it after 706 bc of the sheep mentality and the borderline threats of excommunication if they dared to publicly multiship
