watching grey’s anatomy for the first time after only watching private practice: another long and obnoxious stream of my thoughts while watching (season 7 edition)
-amelia!!!! yay
-“i have a lot of sisters. if we bought them all coffee, we’d have nothing” okay derek is funny sometimes
-HOW OLD IS AMELIA? it’s stated through dialogue in pp that addison knew her when she was twelve which implies that they are at least about ten years apart (and therefore she is also ten years younger than derek) but somehow she was also five during their dad’s death when derek was twelve, is older than meredith, and got fired from her fellowship in pp but is somehow still a big girl surgeon who can do her own surgeries?
-mark/amelia sex is grossing me out.
-frances conroy!!! this show has so many good guest stars
-marks improvised budget pitch to richard definitely sounds like he’s trying to fuck him
-alex is singing camp rock to the little girl in the MRI thingy. into it.
-the head of pathology is anna draper!!
-okay, arizona telling callie she’s ruining africa for her is a *little* unfair. they should have discussed this more beforehand.
-after however many seasons of them i can genuinely tell you nothing of note about the new characters except that the virgin girl was also in svu and mad men
-arizona sweetie your biphobia is showing
-“i’m trying to look at baileys teets on the internet” RICHARD! (adele webber voice)
-i don’t love the way they’re writing meredith this season. i usually really really like her character even when she fucks up, but she just feels different this season idk. maybe it’s the bangs.
-tyler the nurse!!! i feel like he hasn’t really been around much these past few seasons. i missed him.
-starting to strongly dislike owen. he thought that she was just playing a little joke when she said she never wanted kids??? or that he could browbeat her until she gave in??? “you’re a resident, you might change your mind” ??????? it’s not a decision most people are usually wish washy about dude. you knew this before you married her!!!! “i don’t get a say?” the time to have a say would have been before you were married when she TOLD YOU she didn’t want kids
-arizona sweetie your biphobia is showing AGAIN
-arizona and owen are on my list at this point (ep 16)
-idc what anyone says i LOVE the musical episode (side note: sara ramirez is a fantastic singer)
-meredith, babygirl. i have not been this frustrated with your decisions since season one/two.
-officially HATE owen. deeply. i don’t know how many more ways she can tell him she doesn’t want kids. she has been explicitly clear from the beginning. he’s going on and on about partnerships and both having a say yet what he so clearly means is “i want a chance to argue you into this” as if it’s a trivial decision and not a fundamental difference in how they want to live their lives. and as if it’s not ultimately her body. this is not something you can compromise about, you stupid ginger fuck!!!!!
-also: “i don’t hate children. i respect them. and i believe that they should have parents who want them” !!!!!!!
-every time i want to side with derek, he ruins it by being self righteous and then running away

I discovered this blog a while back. I am shocked and disgusted after 6 years of believing this man was among the most disgusting people to have existed in the USA. Turns out this man was a victim of a huge miscarriage of justice. If this gets reported for some "glorifying violence" or "denying a violent event" bullshit rule, then you're a coward. You're a coward who has been made uncomfortable by the truth: that the American justice system is f*cked. Their evidence is based on legal documents released by the California supreme court. This man would have been acquitted if he had better attorneys. This man was brain-damaged and shouldn't have been on death row. Richard Ramirez was framed, first by the police and then by his so-called friends.
Most people are banned for posting about him, but do you know what you can't magic away? The original victim police eyewitness testimonies that described another man. You can't run from documents that show how the California courts refused appeal lawyers access to evidence. What are they hiding? Some evil pieces of sh*t got away with murder while Ramirez went down for it. He played the part of the character, sure. What else could he do?
The latest videos humanize him in a way that I never expected. I've been interested in Ramirez for 6 years and drank all the bullsh*t videos about him online. Interviews where he smirked about killings turned out to be harshly edited. New footage shows a sweet guy, a human with big sad eyes. It matches the gentle guy his friends described. It shows a man that has been broken by the USA's sh*tty legal system and is making the best of it, like it was simple fate.
Read the documents.

Nostalgia (pt. 2)
Summary: You were called to sit and watch Richard Ramirez’s court cases, but when he stared in your eyes, you couldn’t help but feel a certain way…almost nostalgic…
Character: pronouns she/her (y/n)
Word count: 872
Author's note: Thank you guys for the likes and the support! <3
It's been a week since you've had that epiphany in court, after seeing the serial killer Richard Ramirez. And if things couldn't get any worse, this time, you won't just be seeing him, you'll be talking to him. There's no time or way to back out, as you have just been told a few days prior that this was also a stupid requirement for law school. Sometimes you would find yourself sitting there wondering what you've put yourself into by going to law school.
You've watched the other two videos of his interview with Inside Edition as well as with Mike Watkiss. You had to prepare yourself by studying how he acts so you wouldn't be surprised by anything when there. The only light being shed in this situation is that you won't be alone; your fellow colleague, Evan, will do most of the talking, or you hope so for your own sake.
Approximately an hour later...
As you walk down the jail unit, you felt uneasy. Evan started to put his hand on your back for comfort when he looked at your face. You always have speculated that he had some crush on you, as it was evident in the way he treats you.
"You okay (y/n)?" He asked, his face looking alarming.
"Uh, yeah I'm fine, just a bit nauseous," you lied.
"Is there anything I can d-" you cut him off, "I'm good, really" you said shaking your hands and walking away from him so you can escape the feeling of his hand on your back.
"It's right down this way," a cop that was escorting you two said, pointing to a door on the left.
Feeling even more unsettled, you breathe in and just when you're about to walk into the interview room, Evan grasps your hand stopping you in place.
"What?" you say, frustration hinted in your voice.
"I just want you to be in the right mindset for this interview. I can do all the talking if you want." He said.
"I'm gonna have to do some talking too Evan," you huffed.
Avoiding him to talk anymore than he already has, you walk into the interview room. Richard was there, with his long black hair and long legs. It was a rare sight to see him in his prison uniform- an orange jumpsuit. He looked up at you and smiled, with some of his teeth missing. This was the first time he smiled at you, and you knew he remembered you. The eye contact didn't feel like anything as it did the last time you were in court with him. As Evan walked in from behind, Richard jumped up to shake his hand first.
Weird...you thought.
You proceeded to sit down across from the chair Richard was in. You could hear him in the back introducing himself to Evan, with a Spanish accent hinted in his voice.
You snapped back into reality when you heard Evan introducing you.
"And this is my wonderful colleague (y/n)." He said, his hand out in your direction.
"Nice to meet you, (y/n)" Richard said, his hand out to shake yours. Hesitantly, you reached out your hands and shook his. His hands were warm, and felt welcoming rather than evil, considering those hands took part in killing more than 13 people. You quickly let your hand out of his grasp and he proceeded to sit down.
"So, (y/n) and I are here on behalf of our requirements for law school. We aren't the government officials or anything just yet," Evan chuckled.
Richard on the other hand, had remained a straight face and said "I see..."
You butt in, starting the interview, in hopes of getting this over with so you can go home. "Ahem, so Richard, how would you describe these past few weeks? Do you think your lawyers are trying their best with the appeals?"
Evan darted a look at you, shocked that you just started off rapidly.
"Mmmm, I know what my fate is, so I don't really care whether they're trying or not. After all, I'm a serial killer, what appeals would even work?" He grinned at you.
You got frustrated quickly. You forgot that he had this tendency to indirectly answer questions or not at all and just talk about something completely different.
Evan could tell that your face has changed, so he decided to take the reply in his own hands.
"Well, do you even listen in court? Do you not care that you're going to be put on death row? To my understanding, the lawyers are trying to prevent you from dying..." he said.
Instead of Richard to answer the question, he shifted in his seat. You can tell there's agitation growing in him. If he weren't in chains and cuffs and had a pistol next to him, he would definitely shoot you both in the head in a snap.
The cop that was stationed to stand in the corner of the room shifted his belt a bit, making sure to be ready in case Richard unexpectedly acted out.
You decided to go on with a more daring question instead...a question that Mike Watkiss nor Inside Edition could not get answered...
part 3 confirmed and coming soon!

Remembering that time I watched the Netflix documentary on The Night Stalker and I was like “Wow! That was really interesting and well made!” And I looked up ‘The Night Stalker’ to see if there was anyone else talking about this amazing documentary and I ended finding a bunch of thirst edits for Richard Ramirez from his trial. I will never mentally recover from that.

ok, before i begin i just wanna say that i don’t support either side when i say this. so just hear me out and listen carefully. alrighty, so we know it’s a bit fucked up that people are editing evan as dahmer. like y’all could choose any role.. ANY ROLE.. and you go with him? uh uh. but why are people only just calling each other out on this topic? nobody seemed to bat an eyelid when people were editing richard ramirez in ahs 1984?? so why are you guys only JUST calling ppl out for editing actual serial killers played by actors?? i’m not hating on any of these actors at all, but y’all need to be fr. why have we only just stopped normalising editing real life serial killers in tv shows?? i remember the whole phase everyone had with richard when he was played by zachary in ahs. ALSO, NOT SOMEONE FIRING BACK AT ME BC I TOLD THEM OFF FOR EDITING DAHMER? that mf really told me “but you edit jpm..” JAMES WAS ONLY WRITTEN WITH A TAD BIT OF INSPO FROM H.H. HOLMES. IF HE WOULD’VE BEEN THE ACTUAL GUY, THEN THAT’S A TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY 😭

I don't care about myself, I don't care what happens to me, I never did really. I do believe in the evil in human nature, this is a wicked wicked world, and in a wicked world wicked people are born. I'm not gonna blame society, my race or people or anything. It is up to the individual like myself to keep on knocking on whatever door they want to get into. As far as Satan is concerned, I believe in a malevolent being, his description alludes me, but I have felt forces that are evil.
Serial killer Richard Ramirez in a tv interview for inside edition in 1993, he was on death row at the time.

Solos by Dickie Landry (feat. Richard Peck, Robert Prado, Rusty Gilder, Jon Smith, Alan Braufman, David Lee)
On February 19, 1972, a crew of mostly Louisiana-raised musicians came together at the Leo Castelli Gallery on West Broadway in Soho to perform a wholly improvised concert. This ensemble’s solos spring from collective improvisations and a tumultuous backbeat, loosely inspired by the creations of Coltrane, Coleman, Albert Ayler, and their brethren. The de facto leader was Richard “Dickie” Landry, a saxophonist and keyboardist who joined composer Philip Glass’s group in 1969. Landry had become a fixture in downtown New York’s loft and art scenes at the close of the 1960s, after he high-tailed it by car from Louisiana to the Lower East Side and auspiciously encountered Ornette Coleman at the Village Gate the night of his arrival. For this concert, fellow Glass reedists Jon Smith and Richard Peck joined in, alongside Rusty Gilder and Robert Prado, both doubling on bass (upright and electric) and trumpet. The drum chair was occupied by New Orleans firecracker David Lee, Jr., who brought alto saxophonist Alan Braufman along for the session (Braufman was the only non-Louisiana player in the band). The ensemble stretched out in the gallery for several hours in a configuration reflecting those that took place at Landry’s Chinatown loft, documented in photos by artists Tina Girouard and Suzanne Harris that adorn the inside of the original gatefold album jacket. Recorded live by Glass’ sound engineer Kurt Munkacsi, the album was released as a double LP on Chatham Square, the small imprint Landry and Glass co-ran, in a stark greyscale cover and simply titled Solos. The order of the players’ improvisations was laid out on the album inner labels, though unsurprisingly there’s a fair amount of blend. At the end of the day Solos is beyond category, a rousing exploration of instrumentation, rhythm, and life. This first-time reissue is remastered from the original master tapes, released as a 2LP gatefold with period photos and new liner notes by Clifford Allen, and an additional 30 minutes of bonus material in the digital edition, included with the download code. クレジット2022年10月7日リリース For Bobby Ramirez Dickie Landry: Tenor & Soprano Sax, Electric Piano Richard Peck: Tenor Sax Robert Prado: Trumpet & Bass Rusty Gilder: Trumpet & Bass Jon Smith: Tenor Sax Alan Braufman: Alto Sax David Lee: Drums Kurt Munkacsi: Engineer, 16 Track Skully, Butterfly Productions, Inc Recorded Live Feb. 19, 1972 Leo Castelli Gallery, N.Y.C., 420 W.
