Ed and Jonathan will certainly not give you permission. You'd be lucky to approach them so casually and walk away unscathed.

Jervis is the only beast you could approach safely and would be fine to touch. This does not mean he is harmless. Think of it like approaching a horse; you should still be cautious when approaching. If he's spooked, he could seriously injure you and even kill you. Do not touch him if he is not aware you are there.

Not only I am designing my own Scarebeast— I am also creating a Riddlebeast and a Hatterbeast and the three of them will look like the ungodly child of a Pokémon and a Ben 10 alien.

May I please see more of scarebeast Ed? He looks very silly. How does Jonathan, or the other rogues, deal with him?

I will take this as an opportunity to update his design. I threw together his and Jervis's beast designs because I didn't think I would be drawing them that much, and I didn't really have any ideas for them story-wise (in terms of an alt timeline). The more I've drawn him, the more I felt like he wasn't really a 'beast'; he felt a little too much like a normal animal. I'm more satisfied with this. He matches the other two more. He's also a bit bigger.

Jonathan is pretty much the only rogue to deal with him besides Penguin. If Jonathan thought Ed was a handful before, he's maybe triple that as a beast. He's even more clingy somehow, on top of that, Jo wouldn't really know how to care for him. He'd be so scared of not providing for him properly. He couldn't tell what food Ed could and could not eat, how much he should feed him, just any of his needs. He'd try very hard to keep Ed healthy and comfortable in this state, and is even willing to work with Batman to cure his best friend.

I don't think any other rogue would even see Riddlebeast since Ed only wants to be around Jonathan. Of course, Penguin is the reason Ed is like that, and he would not treat him very well. He'd see Ed as a tool, not even a useful pet. I imagine Penguin would do this to get to Scarecrow; that's the real prize. Unfortunately for Oz, Ed is still very good at worming out of things.

I loved the comics of Ed finding scarebeast in the alley. Now I’m curious to see how Jon would react to Ed’s beat form (idk what to name that form)

Jo would also look diligently for Ed. He's just not a detective like Ed so he'd be a bit lost. Luckily Ed would have been able to escape from Penguin's grasp and the only thing he'd want to do is find Jonathan again. That's all that's left over from his transformation. Jonathan can't recognize him immediately but when he actually looks closer, he knows for sure who it is.

I see where you're coming from, but a Sphinx isn't much good if it can't talk. He'd definitely sit like one though.

They are besties no matter what! They'd pretty much act the same just in an animalist way. They can get up to so much more hijinx when they are both beasties!

Same with Jervis. Batman has his work cut out for him if all three were beasties together.

He can't really see; his eyes still don't see clearly, even as a beast. So he'll just eat the chips and ignore you. Since you are a weasel, he'd have no reason to pay attention to you. Which is a good thing. A strange person coming up to him would scare him, and he'd become defensive. Likely resulting in said person getting invenomated. So you are welcome to observe him, he won't attack you.

How would the Scarebeast situation have gone had Ed been the one to have been injected with the serum? I feel like Scarecrow would have been more active in murdering Oz for what he did to his friend than Ed is?

Scarecrow is certainly capable of getting to and killing Penguin but he wouldn't do it immediately. He has to figure out what he injected Ed with and how he did it first. If Oz complies, maybe he'll spare him. If Scarecrow doesn't deem it necessary he won't kill but he'd certainly be very tempted, so Oz better not make it necessary. Scarecrow is not someone you want to make enemies with. Penguin will learn that the hard way. Being sparred should be the least of Oz worries anyway. Death may be a mercy compared to the living nightmare Scarecrow would put him through once he has what he needs.

if jervis or edward got turned into weird monster creatures the way jon turns into the scarebeast, what do you think they would look like / how would they behave ? do u think they would be more or less chill than jon as scarebeast?

Ed would be a mix of animals related to intelligence, senses, and digging/tunneling. His freckles become sensory organs and develops a lateral line. He has the nose of a star-nosed mole and sensory whiskers on his chin. However, I couldn't think of more sensory organs that animals have off the top of my head. He has a prehensile tail, venomous barbs on his wrist, opposable thumbs, and claws for digging. Since as the Riddler, he's good at finding things others hide I tried to apply that in a physical sense. Since Scarebeast is supposed to serve a purpose and is made to specialize in his talent, causing fear, I tried to stay within that theme for the other two.

Jervis is a mix of prey animals, parasitic, and eusocial insects. The insects representing his skill in mind control. Wasp can be eusocial or parastic. Parasitic species lay eggs in a host and the larva control the host. Eusocial species serve one individual (a queen) and are associated with the term "hive mind" so I thought this was fitting. I used prey animals because I feel that's a pretty good representation of his demeanor. Prey animals are often considered meek but are much more capable and often more aggressive than you'd think. However, from what I've observed, they are passive unless provoked (but it seems some of them like to cause problems on purpose). Jervis is pretty non-confrontational but has a lot of pent-up emotion and is actually very strong, thus my choices.

On behavior, Ed would be the most feisty being more bold than Scarebeast but is not nearly as strong. He can still give you a nasty bite and of course, envenomate you. Around his loved ones though he'd want all their undivided attention, and would be very vocal and expressive about his feelings. Letting them know just how happy or upset he is. Jervis would mostly keep to himself and would rather be with his friends. Though is incredibly dangerous if he feels himself or his friends are in danger. He'd be far more destructive than Scarebeast if he's upset.
