Twilight: You should at least try a few jabs. Maybe a lance?
Carly: Again, I don't want to use weapons, but I guess a little self defense practice wouldn't hurt...
Twilight: Be careful. You might want to hold it with both hands.
Carly: Nah, I got it! Lemme try a spin!

A lot of LOZ headcanons about the Twili
Just putting whatever comes to mind here.
The Twilight Realm is much bigger than it is in game. They are mostly floating platforms, so bridge making is actually a highly respected profession. The bridges are made of a glass like material infused with magic for strength, and are see through. They are also very thin, which is why those platforms in the palace of Twilight can blend in with the floor.
Twili markings are basically runes. Imagine them as like a blood flow path, but with magic. This is why you find a lot of markings on the arms, where the magic is channeled.
Twili with less markings therefore have less magic and usually spend their time learning a more physical craft like swordplay or construction.
Magic is somewhat more prioritized in their society thanks to it being useful for so many things, so Twili with more magic are likely to have higher positions in office.
The government of the Twilight Realm is a council, though the queen/king/princess/prince etc is usually considered to be the boss. The council members are chosen by election.
Clothing is also a big part in their culture. Weavers take pride in being able to make complicated patterns and styles.
The stuff that is used to make buildings in the Twilight Realm is actually a smooth metal, I would say something like bronze or iron? They also use stone bricks though.
Plant life is very rare here. They mostly make their food by experimenting with the few plants they have to multiply the seeds they make.
Time passes much faster in the Twilight Realm than in Hyrule. The Twili don't really have a time system because of there being no sun or moon there, but they usually just go by whenever there are more particles floating around(making the place seem darker). Basically, more particles = later in the day, though they don't have much way to prove that.
Twili are bioluminescent! This is why you don't see lanterns anywhere, they're basically their own little moonlights.

After TP Headcanons
More headcanons! Just my opinions here! You don't have to agree with any of these. As of the start of this post, Link is currently 19. He was 17 at the start of his journey.
- Ganondorf is defeated and Hyrule is saved. - Link (who I will call Twi for the rest of this post) is absolutely beaten after the fight and is taken to the Kakariko shaman Renado for healing immediately. Midna comes with him. Zelda stays behind to try and repair the Castle. - Twi recovers slowly. He is often restless and tries to get up on his own, insisting that he is fine. He almost acts as if Hyrule is still in danger. Midna leaves to visit Ordon as Twi is making his final adjustments. She explains what happened to Twi to Rusl (during the course of TP, not in the battle) and entrusts the shadow crystal to him. This is because she plans to leave Hyrule, unbeknownst to them, and she wants Twi to have it in case he ever needs his wolf form. This recovery takes about a week. - Midna, Zelda and Twi meet up at Arbiter's Grounds. The ending scene of TP happens. - Twi is in a state of shock after this and doesn't move for several minutes. Zelda is surprised as well, but she pieces things together and understands that Midna had to leave to rule her kingdom. Twi argues that even if that is the case, then she still could've kept the mirror standing so that there would be a link between them. He also cries. A lot. Twi tries to repair the mirror, but to no avail. He does manage to find a fragment of it, though, and he keeps it. - On the way back to the Castle, Zelda asks Twi what he plans to do now. He responds with a determined smile - "I'm going to find another way into the Twilight Realm.". Zelda....has her doubts. She offers him a place as a royal knight. He refuses. Twi returns to Ordon. - Rusl meets up with Twi and tells him about Midna. This causes him to trust Rusl much more. He makes the shadow crystal into a necklace for better access. - Twi starts doing research on the Twili. This continues for some time, around six months, until he gives up the study. During this period he is known to have stolen a few books from the Castle Library, which he promises to give back, but what happens after this makes that kind of hard. - Twi eventually gives up on the study, and decides that it's time for him to move on. He returns the Master Sword to its pedestal. A month later, he receives a letter from Zelda inviting him to a ball at the Castle. Now, usually, Twi isn't good at parties, so he initially wants to refuse, but it did say that it was important, so he comes along. - The castle servants are insistent that he wears something more proper (because he basically just showed up in his Ordon clothes). He is assigned a tailor - which means he has to change - which means his scars are going to be visible. He usually only covered the major ones before this (being the ones on his shoulders and chest), but the tailor's reaction makes him feel a little bit defensive about showing them. - This causes his usual need to wear layers. Anyways, the party is uneventful except for that the silk fabric is foreign to him and he's quite awkward while wearing it. When he is called into the Princess' room, things go south. - First she asks if he's reconsidered being a knight. Still a no.Zelda explains that she felt when he placed the master sword back - and when he tells her that he's permenately retiring the blade, she gets angry with him. This grows into an argument to where a few offhand comments are thrown around (such as "Maybe Midna severed the mirror because she wanted to get away from you!" Which boy howdy pisses Twi off.), and eventually Zelda calls the guards to escort him out. - But this is the Hero of Twilight we're talking about. Though reluctantly, he's able to easily get the guards off of him, and announces that "if I'm leaving, it's going to be on my terms, not yours." He does not return to the castle. Nor does he ever return those books. - It's now been almost a year after TP. Twi goes back to being a ranch hand. He's formally adopted by Rusl, though it doesn't matter much since he's nearly 20 now, but it does mean that Colin is now legally his little brother. He steps up to the role quite well. Their infant little sister, Liza, is growing. Twilight returns his original tunic to the Light Spirits, exactly where he got it from. Though Ordon does come together to make him a new tunic for all that he's done for them. - Years pass, and Liza and Colin grow up. As Rusl and Uli get more elderly, Twi steps up to the plate a lot. He's a strict big brother, but only because he cares. He sets serious bedtimes so that those two won't develop his insomnia. Liza becomes an avid researcher. Colin attempts marksmanship. The town of Ordon expands. - Prince Ralis reaches official King age, and Twilight gives him back his coral earring as a gift. - Telma and the Resistance are always looking out for Twi in Castle Town, even if he's unwelcome in the Castle itself. - After this, things kind of mellow out. That is, unless Linked Universe happens and he gets plunged into a life changing field trip. Yeah, so Zelda is kinda rude to Twi. She's not a bad person, they simply have conflicting ideals. You know that one person you just can't get along with no matter how nice you are, even if they aren't exactly horrible to you all the time? Yeah. That's Twi and Zelda.

Interview Qs! What cheers you up when you’re feeling down? Is it someone else? Is it an activity, a memory? | How would you describe your physical appearance? If someone were to pick you out from a crowd, what would they look for first? | What are the favourites of your hobbies? Are you any good at them?
HOO BOY HERE WE GO. LONG POST. AND I. MEAN LONG. H.
tysm for this ask @quilloftheclouds !
Twilight Winchester :
When I'm feeling sad? Well, it depends, really. I tend to get lonely very often - even though I'm surrounded by people. It's quite the oxymoron. I find myself lost in the past as well. Letting go of things isn't really my strong suit. But for now, let's put the past behind us, shall we?
It's especially hard for me to get out of a rut when I'm already in one. There is no real cure for it - I suppose it's my mindset that makes me cling to these feelings - but there are distractions. Writing about my thoughts helps me get them out, even if I'm too much of a coward to put them all down for fear of someone reading them. I keep my journal almost religiously. It's not supposed to be sappy, it's supposed to be a record of things so I don't forget, but that never really ended up happening. Nevertheless, it's certainly improved my handwriting.
Swordplay also helps to put me at ease. It really shouldn't, knowing that I hold such a deadly tool in my hands, but it helps me feel safe, I guess. Exercises like training drills and herding the goats help with familiarity. I'm usually lost without a routine. I don't have much time to do anything else, since I'm booked up looking after Colin, Liza, Talo, Malo, and Beth all the time, but I also enjoy knitting. Mi- my companion taught me how. I can usually go through a skein in a few days. It's nothing much, really - and Rusl argues that I'll cut up my hands if I use smaller needles, but it does mean that I always have warm clothes in the winter.
...
I don't think I'm much worth describing. People have told me that I need to take better care of my appearance, but with how much exercise I get, and, in contrast, how little sleep I get, I don't think I could really manage anything. Uli always told me that I look like a tree. I'm sure she didn't mean it that way, but I always thought that meant I was really thin. Not to say that I'm not. And, of course, I get the height speech from everyone. I don't know why everyone else seems to be shorter than me. Perhaps I'll hit another growth spurt and my door will be too small for me.
Some people seem to be perceptive on the whole face-markings thing. It's none of their concern. They're tattoos.
...
I think I enjoy horseback riding the most. Riding across Hyrule emerses me with a special feeling. I suppose it's confidence. I just hope I've never pushed Epona too hard - she does so much for me, and I can't ever really repay her. That reminds me; go get apples from Faron Woods. I'm almost out.
Carly Callisto :
Oh! I'm suprised someone asked about me! Usually I ramble so much about myself that no one really wants to hear more, haha. I don't usually get sad, though! Ever since I started my study of the mind, I've had much better control over my emotions. That's not to say I've never gotten sad, though. Due to my mental disabilities, I tend to feel emotions much stronger than others. It's hard to get out of that mindset, so I try to avoid it at all costs. But of course, a little music can fix anything! Lurelin's historical shanties are very interesting. Unfortunately, Danté's the only one who knows them, and - no offense here, gramps - but his voice is a bit old for the range. Nevermind that, though! It's better to focus on the positive things in life!
...
I'm very proud of how I look! I've been wanting to decide on something that was really me for a long time now. The color scheme is complimentary, of course. Blue and yellow make for a bright and fun time. And then there's my prized hibiscus. It tops everything off - quite literally- on my head. Lu calls me Fräulein Flower cause of how I look. It's a cute nickname!
...
It may be obvious already, but I'm a triple threat! Singing is my passion, but I'm alright at dancing, and I've even helped Dahira on a lot of her performances! Language is confusing, but it's a fascinating study. As of right now, I can speak Hylian, some Sheikah, Gerudo, and of course, I can understand Roxy! Swimming is very freeing for me, since I can't breathe very well. I'm always happy when I get to wade around near Lurelin.
Luto Albelnour :
I don't see why it's your business to be concerned about when I'm sad, but, go off, I guess. Man, you're just like Flower. You probably think you can fix everything, huh? Nevermind. I get sad more than I'd like to. My mind is stubborn and tends to dwell on things that I've already settled. I usually just push through it. I'll get nowhere if I stop to rest. Practicing my magic helps me calm down, though. Dimas says that anger doesn't fuel fire, but I think he might be a little off on that one. Whenever I get especially sad, it's always Flower that tries to help me. I appreciate the concern, but, well, I can handle it on my own. I already have a favorite memory. Of course, it doesn't really work the wonders it used to back when I was learning from Dad. Now it just makes me more lonely.
...
It's optimal for me to keep warm for the best magic ability. Heat is paramount to be able to make a constant fire. Fräulein Flower always says I dress like it's winter in summer, but obviously, she has never actually been a fire mage. Nothing is too hot. I've tossed out the mask now, but if I still wore it, then it'd probably be bad news. People don't usually believe me when I say I'm a Sheikah because of my hair. It....kind of makes me feel bad for dying it. But I don't want to look like him anymore.
...
I don't have time for hobbies. I have work to do - fire training, preserving my culture, meditating, blade practice - et cetera. I hope those garden snakes don't run away.... Eh? Did I say something? No. No I didn't. Clean out your ears.

🖊 Luto
OO OKAY YOU PICKED A VERY GOOD SHEIKAH BOY!!
Luto Albelnour is a 17 year old full Sheikah boy. His family was very strict and traditional, and he was homeschooled by his father (Hawthorne) for most of his life. He was almost never let out of the house, but luckily, their home happened to be pretty large- boasting its own garden. His mother, Aideen would always play with him and the garden snakes when he had the time to spare after his lessons. Luto is very proud about his culture, and wears Sheikah symbols on his clothing very often.
After he joined the Yiga clan, he dyed his hair black.
One of his most treasured possessions is his snake hairpiece - it belonged to Aideen before she died. He never lets it out of his sight.
Luto excels at most magic, especially fire, except for lightning. This is because of a deathly fear of thunderstorms thanks to trauma.
His teacher in the Yiga Clan was one Dimas Arlott, who taught him pretty much everything he knows. He also helped Luto to realize his trauma and heal from it (though most credit for Luto's closure goes to Miss Callisto). Dimas is half-sheikah half-gerudo, and as such, he felt very proud to be taught by another Sheikah. Dimas also passed on his somewhat carefree nature to his student, and, while it did make him a bit reckless, he was also much, much happier than the stressed, closed mindset child he was.
Luto's favorite hobby is gardening. It reminds him of his mom. He's a bit mad that none of his favorite plants will grow in Lurelin (his current residence), though.
After saving Hyrule, Luto became an engineer as well as an advocate for the Sheikah, keeping their forgotten traditions very close to his heart while also moving towards the future. He enjoys working on ancient technology.

I was wondering if anyone would like to see character studies or indepth info on my ocs/sonas?? Cause right now I have my Pokemon AU Twi study Atonement For Loneliness (which also doubles as the entire recovery arc, anyways be on the lookout for chapter 6 soon 👀👀) but I feel like I wanna explore other characters since I only ever really write for Twi and/or Carly. Several chapters focus on one other character, but the whole thing is still in his perspective and is exploring that. So I'd want to write for other people or just talk about them, basically. I'd love to ramble about my ocs - specifically my underrated ones like Cerule, Dahira, Zara, Dimas, Eshana, Cheryl, Alyssa and Kimi. Sometimes when I'm counting all my characters I forget their names and I think that's very shameful of me, so I want to develop them more.
If I did post more oc content, as in like interactions and stuff, it'd probably be on my sideblog @ask-rijus-ocs but I'm not sure. It's just one of them days where I want to talk about things, yknow??

Just a thing that I feel like needs to be said;
Setting in roleplay and writing is really important!
I have been in so many rps where there is so much untapped potential because we're always in some unnamed forest or a random town. And when we are in an actual canon town, we never really consider the landscape and buildings there.
For example, I'm gonna use the TP map because that's the one I'm most familiar with. The major villages are Ordon, Kakariko/Goron City, Zora's Domain and Castle Town. Now, that's not a lot, but the thing is; they're all very different and we should treat them as such.
Ordon is a small forest town with a river running through it. There is the Ranch near the back of town next to Mayor Bo's house, then up the hill pathway is Rusl, Colin and Uli's home, and then the house with the Waterwheel. Those are all near the back of the town. There is a small lake next to the waterwheel house and many pillars of rock surrounding the other side. Going up towards Link's house we have Fado's house, which has a beehive above it, and Sera's sundry shop on the opposite side.
Then, once you reach the complete opposite side of the village, there is Link's house. There are training dummies and the building itself has a ladder to reach the entrance, making room for a basement below. The inside has a lot of platforms reached by ladders as well. And finally, past Link's house is Ordon Spring.
Now, what can we do with this?
Well, we know that Ordon is a very agricultural town, so we will probably have many plant products there if your group wants to buy food. It is also very small, so there's probably not many rooms for travellers to stay in, so perhaps the group might sleep in the stables. As for fight scenes and interesting movement interactions, there is a lot of cool things you can do!
Maybe one of the enemies has the advantage because they're on top of the rock pillars. You could be knocked into the lake, or even use the lake to swim up and catch someone by suprise. Perhaps one of you could even shoot down the beehive and have it go after the opposing side. The most important thing is to point out stuff like this before a battle begins. So many unique possible strategies can be opened up by simply knowing the scene.
There could be several problems in this town that the group could help with; maybe the goats got loose, or they need help in the fields, or the waterwheel is stopped up.
Think about all the animals here. How fun would riding a horse or an Ordon goat be? What about using the hawkgrass to summon a birdie friend? This isn't even considering the Faron Woods that you have to pass through to get here.
Already from this you might be getting my point, but let's move on to another case.
Kakariko Village. A rebuilding town settled in a valley in the mountainous Eldin region. There is an arid climate, and the main water source is most likely the Spring there, though there are also hot springs. In stark contrast to the wooden tree houses in Ordon, these are mostly metals and have a lot of barricades on their houses, suggesting that they have need of repair for a long time.
This is one of the few towns where we actually see an inn present- though it is small, it's something. This town also has the shaman Renado, which means that they probably have decent medical care. Kakariko feels like it's been through a lot since the Twili Invasion, but it is slowly recovering.
Now they live in harmony with the Goron tribe, who help Hylians get around. There is also a bomb shop, which is probably the town's main business(except for Malo Mart, I guess?). The town has a rectangular layout with a central path that allows access to all the buildings, different from Ordon's twisting circular one. Think about this as you play. There is most likely not many open spaces here except for if you travel to Goron City. Not much grass either, and hardly any plant life in sight.
What do you think standing there would be like? What would you notice as you pass through? Would the dry air be a problem for some characters? What about relaxing in the hot springs? Maybe a fall from that one gap that they refuse to bridge up going to the top of the Elde Inn? Who knows! It's up to you.
What to take away from this is; consider. Think about where your characters are and how you can use that. No one is going to shout at you for being clever and using a good strategy. Of course, the opposite can happen for inattentive characters. Not knowing the land and not paying attention to it can be their downfall. What disadvantages are there for the characters by using this place as a setting?
Perhaps the crowded streets of Castle town bring anxiety to a claustrophobic character. Or maybe a character who has trouble breathing can't stand Death Mountain's smoky air? Maybe it's storming in Snowpeak and the gang can't see where they're going? There are so many cool things that can happen. But don't just take my word for it - try it for yourself!
Look at maps or footage of settings before using them. I especially love how Hyrule Warriors handles settings; you have to interact with the map in order to progress the mission. If your characters are new to the area, then having them test out certain things there is super fun, like trying to navigate a foggy forest.
TL;DR - do research and settings are cool

You've been visited by the random OC question fairy! May your day be filled with cake, friends, and good vibes! 🎉🎈🎂 :D ~☆
Wow! Your character gets a birthday wish for blowing out their cake candles all in one go! What do they wish for and why?
thank you @random-oc-questions-fairy !
So, I feel like Twilight's wish would come out more as a prayer than an actual wish, because he's constantly guilty about everything and - even though he thinks that the gods probably won't listen to him and neither will these candles - he still does wish on them. Of course, it's silent, so none of the gang hears it, but it's mainly about "pls forgive me for doing stupid shit as a kid" when, obviously, he was a kid and it should be obvious that it doesn't matter cause he didn't know what he was doing. Also maybe for Midna to come back. He's lonely.
Carly's wish would be mainly for other people. Just the restoration of Hyrule in general. Probably Luto, the Callistos, Cerule Dahira & Zara, and maybe even Dimas (I'm still not sure if she's actually met him or not. She definitely knows of him because of Luto, though.)
Luto's wish is also kind of prayer-like, even though he doesn't really believe in most of Hyrule's deities (he had a lot of religious trauma as a kid, had to meditate to Hylia and such). His is much more about himself - specifically, to help him try and make sense of his trauma and grow from it. He's trying to make it up to Carly, even though he'll never admit it. That concussion he gave her still makes him feel sick inside.
I feel like I have a few ideas for the Into The Light gang and the other botw crew, but this post is already pretty long and I'd have to think on it more. Lmk if you'd be interested in it tho!

You've been visited by the random OC question fairy! :D ~☆
Does your character have a good relationship with their parents? Are there any parental figures that aren't related to them in their life?
WHOO BOY HERE WE GO!!! family is an important theme in most of my stories so yeah. This is mainly for the loz verse unless otherwise stated
Twilight Winchester
Although being an orphan, he picked up many father figures along the way. He mostly taught himself how to live, but had to learn social skills from Rusl and his family. He was formally adopted by them at the end of his journey. There's also the Hero's Shade. Although he sees the spirit as less of a father and more of an idol, Shade definetly considers him his son. He wishes Twi would lighten up a bit around him. Renado already has a daughter, but Twi gets into so much trouble that he might as well just live at the medic sanctuary. Telma is like a godmother to him.
Carly Callisto
This lady has so many relatives holy mother of publix - anyways, her birth parents died in an accident, so she's Yet Another Orphan. She mostly got raised by foxes in the Faron region, where she met Roxy, lifelong best friend. Then, when Nadetta and Eshana's hunting group found her, she became an adoptive member of the Callisto family. This makes Vevera and Danté her grandparents, Nadetta and Eshana her parents, Dimitri her uncle and Farei her aunt. It was very awkward trying to learn how to live as a person again, but she did her best.
Cerule, Dahira, and Zara are also somewhat like godmothers, if not sisters. She tends to refer to everyone she grows close with with familial terms. Luto later gets introduced and becomes her big brother (see below).
Luto Albelnour
Luto grew up with the pressure of his family name already hard on his shoulders. Being born a true sheikah, he had magical abilities unlike any other, and was also skilled at working with technology. Due to his father, he always tried his hardest to do everything. Learning magic, swordplay, how to work the Guardians, upholding sheikah tradition - it was all up to him, as the only child. He spend most of his time holed up inside the house. Luto suffered from burnout very often, although sometimes the lessons were far too easy for him. He often got fed up with them when they actually were on his level.
However, he never really learned how to communicate or anything because of this. He sometimes tried to sneak out and play with the garden snakes, or, on one escapade, meeting Carly in a cave and making his first real friend. Hawthorne obviously had problems with this, and Luto was subject to gaslighting. He basically became a nervous wreck. If not for the influence of his mother Aideen, he would've probably lost his grip on emotions entirely.
When the Hylian-Sheikah wars came about, he was pretty much forced into his father's opinion. Though, he did agree with it, somewhat. The Guardians were their machines and the Hylians shouldn't have the right to take them away. During a thunderstorm, the Albelnour house was attacked, and despite Luto's insistence to fight and finally use his skills, he stayed in the cellar until it was over. When he came out, no one was left. This resulted in a fear of thunderstorms that would last for the rest of his life.
While living on the street (and poorly, I might add - misunderstood morals meaning he couldn't steal food and no adult living skills ) he came across the Yiga assassin Dimas, and, in a very awkward turn of events involving shooting fire at eachother, he managed to befriend the redhead. Dimas was pretty much raised as a free spirit by the Yiga, unlike the guy with the award for Most Closeted Child. Luto joined the Yiga clan, and depending on your view, it was the best or worst decision of his life.
He learned better emotional skills from Dimas while also learning the proper magic lessons, but the Yiga itself had some....questionable morals. Of course, Luto didn't mind. The Hylian Royal Family was the source of all his trauma (at least, that's what he thought). They'd be better off gone. Dimas basically became his replacement dad until he (Luto) had several run-ins with his old friend Carly, and boy, did that confuse things. My boy pretty much had an identity crisis.
Eventually deciding to leave the Yiga after a lot of consideration, he made his way to Lurelin, the Callisto residence. It took a lot of convincing, especially because of what the Yiga are known for (*cough* assassination), but he was allowed to stay there. Finally realizing the root of his problems and becoming a better person, he decided that he should continue to uphold his Sheikah roots - but find a better environment for him to live in. Eventually, he got adopted into the Callisto family.
Since this post is getting really long, I might reblog this to my oc side blog ( @ask-rijus-ocs ) and answer for the rest of my characters. But yeah.

Hello, dear! You've been visited by the random character question fairy! :D ~☆
What are your character's flaws, and how do these flaws affect themselves and the people around them? Is your character conscious of these flaws and, if so, are they trying to better themselves?
Oo okay long post incoming!!
Twilight is very conscious of himself. He goes by a very strict moral code and as such, is very aware of his actions. His emotions, however, are a different story. He often feels more passionately than most people - for example, when others open up to him about trauma and such, he tends to take in that anger for them. He's very protective of other people - not that he doesn't think they can handle themselves, but because he thinks they shouldn't have to deal with anything that they go through.
He's far too compassionate for his own good, directing others anger towards himself, and of course, if he manages to track them down, their abusers. Twilight has a very destructive mindset - he already thinks he's incapable of healing, and that the only way he can make up for his mistakes is by fixing others. He takes everything far too seriously. Midna did help to teach him to stand up for himself, but now that she's gone, he also blames himself a little for her leaving. He thinks that he made her mad somehow.
Carly is also very similar to Twilight. She has perfect control of her emotions, yes, and is a very stable person compared to most of Hyrule, having achieved peace, but she's constantly trying to better the world. She wants desperately to be acknowledged, to have some kind of positive impact on the world. She's constantly going around healing others that she doesn't have much time to think of herself. Despite her knowing self care measures, and using them most of the time, she has a habit of avoiding her own problems. She's very emotional, and maybe would've ended up like Twilight if she didn't realize that most of her problems aren't her fault.
Luto is often cold and uncaring. Depending on his age, his flaws are very different. Pre-Yiga, he was an incredible scholar, although, he suffered from horrible burnout and gaslighting (thanks, Hawthorne). This made him hyperaware of himself. He thought that there was a right and wrong answer to everything, and that if he didn't want to be condemned, he absolutely had to get the right answer every time. He didn't understand opinionated questions, because he was never allowed to speak his mind at home. All that mattered was success and preserving the Sheikah.
Post-Yiga, due to Dimas' influence, he started to learn a lot of things about the world. He finally understood that he didn't have to win at everything, but this caused a lot of emotional dissonance within the boy. If he didn't have to win at everything, then what did he have to win at? What was of importance to others? What should he care about? If his father had lied to him, then who's to say everyone else isn't lying too? Luto began to shut out most people, deciding that if he couldn't trust people to be telling the truth, then he must be the only one he could rely on. He even pushed Dimas out a bit, though it was impossible to let his mentor out of his life completely.
Unfortunately, by making the decision to only trust himself, he started to believe in his own destructive mindset, causing a heck ton of problems. Moving in with the Callistos after realizing his own flaws helped a lot, but he never truly got rid of his father's influence on his mind. He still feels that urge to win at everything, so that he can be proud of himself, and to keep alive the Sheikah culture, because that's a part of him too. Luckily he's in a much better place now.
Altair is not aware of most people's feelings. Due to military training, she was taught to suppress most of her emotions, which made it difficult to converse with other people. Leo and Amoni really helped with this, especially because of their chatterbox nature. She tries her best to understand the world now, but she still fumbles sometimes.
Leo is stubbornly optimistic. He's always trying to better things, and often avoids the negatives of certain situations. He hides his own problems under the guise of positivity. But, thankfully, he is happier than most people. After all, he has a beautiful house, a zoran best friend, and the love of his life.
Hak'illi is too carefree. Fae does not seem to think that anything really matters. Fae doesn't have much trauma because fae doesn't really care that he got orphaned. After all, fae has Grey and Red now to take care of faer. Fae doesn't feel the need to grow up, or have a want for anything, really. Fae just wants to be happy, and fae thinks that becoming a guard will make faer happy, and so fae works towards that goal.
I have a few other ideas, but this got really long, so...yeah! I might reblog it later with some other ocs.

Happy April Fool's Day from the random-oc-question-fairy! May your day be filled with laughter and merriment! ~☆
Which of your characters are pranksters, and which are most likely to be pranked?
Thank you @random-oc-questions-fairy !
Okay okay, so Luto, despite being incredibly chaotic, would probably only pull pranks in the Pokemon AU because normally, his "pranks" would be an elaborate revenge plan on several Hylians that would probably leave them with many bruises. Dimas may have taught him morals but that didn't make him automatically lawful good. THOUGH, post redemption arc, he would obviously be kind enough to work with the Callistos to cause mischief.
Carly would be a bit too goody-two-shoes to pull any jokes, and also because most humor flies over her head, and Farei is too young and innocent that if anyone pranked her then the rest of the Callistos would beat the prankster up. However, all of the other Callistos are fair game. Nadetta and Eshana are married so they don't pull anything too bad on eachother, maybe they simply replaced the spoon drawer in the kitchen with sporks or something, or maybe even something involving mistletoe.
Nadetta and Dimitri are siblings and therefore have full permission to bully eachother over everything, so I can clearly imagine Dimitri falling for the water-bucket-above-the-door trick. In response, Dimitri proceeds to swap Nadetta's soap bottle with pink dye and cackles as she gets out of the shower with now-bright-pink hair. Danté has to stop the two from murdering eachother.
Vevera and Danté are an old married couple, so while they do bicker a bit, they're both too frail to have the energy for any special pranks and love eachother too much. Cerule is a knight, and as such, she would instantly be against any pranks because "That's incredibly immoral and mean, what the heck, you guys", but she totally gets pranked by her brother Mahi. Dahira is a bilingual dancer learning Hylian, so I can imagine someone (probably Luto) telling her that a certain word means something that it doesn't and Dahira is too trusting to know that they're lying so she walks into the room being like "What's up hoes" and Carly proceeds to spit out her drink.
Zara is a bit gullible but she's a giant rock woman and I can't see anyone being not intimidated by her so she's safe. For now. Unless Luto comes about, I guess. Dimas is carefree assassin and Luto's mentor so he's safe from his chaotic energy and wouldn't care if he got pranked anyways.
Moving onto the Twilight Princess crew!
So, Hak'illi, being the embodiment of Chaos Orphan Zora, would obviously team up with Ailynna to prank the rest of the gang. Cheryl declares that she's above such commoner things but then Ailynna stuffs mud into her high heels and both of them (Hak'illi and 'Lynna) are on the run from her wrath. Grey is too tired to stop fae but he's still mad at Hak'illi. Red is still confused as to what's going on.
Meanwhile, Altair does not understand the concept of a prank and as such, considers any prank that Hak'illi and Ailynna pull to instantly be a threat on her life. The general gets incredibly angry with them and Leo has to awkwardly step in and explain to her that no, Hak'illi and Ailynna are not trying to kill her. The prankster duo decides that it's probably best not to test their luck with Twilight, because while he may be dense, he's also, you know, The Hero Of Twilight, the Divine Beast, with the Triforce Of Courage and could probably kill them on sight if he had any reason not to trust them.
In the Ocarina of Time verse, Alyssa is terrorizing Kokiri Forest on this day, much to Kimi's detriment as she apologizes profusely to the Great Deku Tree for her behavior.
