my favorite team of the broadway five, team tilda.
Mattea - the sky is blue, water is wet, Mattea’s Matilda is a Gryffindor.
Mimi - oh, the anger in this girl.  She was so intense, so full of hurt and rage.  I’d have a very hard time picking a favorite member of this group, but I was always the most excited to see Mimi.  She let her fury power her to do great things, but god help us all if she’d embraced her parents’ way of life.  Anger was what drove her, and to me, that says Slytherin.
Alexandra - Ali’s Matilda was just the purest little Hufflepuff.  The word I would  use time and again to describe her was “sweet,” and while it’s not terribly descriptive, nothing else would’ve been right.  She was impish and full of mischief, but absolutely no malice or resentment.  She always seemed driven by the desire to help others.
Rileigh - this kid was pure Slytherin, and one of the most fascinating Matildas.  She always seemed to get a nasty pleasure out of punishing and tormenting those who wrong her and the ones she loved, and it made it such a great moment when she finally said, “I think I’ve had enough of revenge.”  Rileigh always put a lot into that moment, and it was always a bit emotional.  In hindsight...what a little genius she was.

Created by Tiffany Schleigh in 2010, Cabaret for a Cause is a NYC-based event series that brings together young professionals from Broadway, film and television for an evening of dance and vocal performance. The goal is to provide a positive environment where young people can work together and use their talents to raise funds and awareness for those less fortunate. We desperately wish this Olive Garden makeup palette was real
Tumblr media
If there's one brand that could give Kyle Jenner a run for her Kylie Cosmetics money, it'd be the Olive Garden. (Have you seen the highlight on those breadsticks?)
On Tuesday, the suburban purveyor of mediocre Italian food and legendary breadsticks appeared to take a small step into the world of makeup and the results were kind of hilarious.
SEE ALSO: That creepy Olive Garden commercial script is just as weird on screen
The company tweeted a photo of a makeup palette and a set of brushes, asking fans for their thoughts on an Olive Garden-branded makeup product.
The palette pictured includes "Breadstick Bronzer" and "Marinara Rouge" blush, plus highlighters and eyeshadows with names like "Lasagna Lush," "Royal Ravioli," and "Spaghetti Sparkle." Yum.
Okay so you liked the subscription box... now what about a makeup palette? 😍 pic.twitter.com/FDVSEjJGvz
— Olive Garden (@olivegarden) July 31, 2018
While the palette is fake according to the company itself, it's still a pretty imaginative social media play. Some on Twitter got excited by the palette and Olive Garden-inspired looks they could create with it:

The Matilda kids make me feel okay for our future.
(And if you’re going to make a comment about kids having political opinions being brainwashing, save your time and just go fuck yourself.  There’s nothing “political” about recognizing that human beings should be treated as such.)
