DP x DC Dreaming
Tim was a dreamer. He had life goals and all, but he was a dreamer. His mind came alive as he slept. Sometimes they were short, bursts of images that passed from one memory to another. Other times, Tim's dreams became whole movies in which he starred as the main character. Dreams so vivid and lucid that the memories from his brain's creations could leach into reality. A conversation he had with Dick discussing a new tactic to track Joker's goons only to mention it while working in the Batcave and realize their talk had never happened. Like any Wayne, some dreams bloomed into nightmares of past traumas and horrific what-if scenarios. Tonight's dream, fortunately, had yet to take that turn.
Currently banned from patrols, the Bat computer, and caffeine by Alfred because of his recent concussion, though he tried to argue four days was enough recovery time for a "minor head injury", Tim lay in his bed dead asleep unusually early. From the door where Bruce checks on him, he is sleeping calmly, but inside Tim's mind is conjuring its newest story.
Tim is running, not just running, chasing. Chasing a shadow. The dark forest is only lit by a half-full moon, making the blur of movement he is pursuing even harder to track. He is not in Red Robin gear so no help from his tech. Tim is pretty sure he is still barefooted in only his pajama pants but his interest in this creature steals too much of his attention. Whatever he is chasing, it is evasive and smart. The slight glow it gives off may be the only thing keeping Tim from losing track of it completely. It whips between and around trees faster than physically possible. It seems to float off the ground instead of running. Tim only stops his pursuit at the edge of a clearing where the being has stilled in the center. The space is too perfect to be natural. Trees line the grass in a perfect circle and not a single plant pokes out from the grass. Too clean and crisp. Tim can see his breath fog in the cold air. It only seems to get colder and colder. He can now make out the figure facing away from him. The slight tinge of blue and green radiating off of the figure is so intriguing. Tim takes a careful step forward into the circle and the beings head whips around. Glowing green eyes are the last thing he sees before he is ripped from the dream. Tim is left heavy breathing and heart pounding, attempting to shake off the sheer terror he experienced upon making eye contact with the visitor in his dream.
He was eventually lulled back to sleep by exhaustion, waking without another dream. Now he has to go to school and work still thinking about those green eyes.

RIP Robin Leach 1941-2018
The host of TV’s Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous (1984-95) has died at 76. He was known for his “champagne wishes and cavier dreams”.
For me, more noteworthy than him was Dana Carvey’s impression of him on SNL. In the Summer of 1988 I was in Drama Camp and appeared in the play The Orb of Khaladar. All the male parts were taken (what few there were) so they wrote a part for me. I played the “host” and did my ridiculous impression of Leach, which was more like me doing and impression of Carvey imitating Leach (”I’m screaming and I don’t know why!”). They even rented a tux for me, which was kinda cool for a 12-year-old.

“I AM NO WINGED KNIGHT. MY WINGS WERE CLIPPED BEFORE I COULD LEARN TO FLY.”
D E F A U L T V E R S E
Protector of the Vale; Peytr Baelish was hardly that for having the young falcon’s wings clipped; polluting his body until Robin was malleable and seemingly beyond repair. He convinced Lysa it was the only way, he convinced his own servants it was the only way; Little Finger was poisoning him. Now he stood faced with all the responsibility he had never been properly prepared for, the weight of the House of Arryn weighing him down more than he could have ever thought possible. The weight of men who could still be loyal to the man who had tried to rip every root and stem of his family and have him slowly killed.
“Make the bad men fly.”
Under the ward of Yohn Royce, Robin becomes healthy. He is regularly leached by his Maester to clear the years of poison from his blood. The betrayal of his mother however, leads him to trust few and only those who who truly have his best interest at heart. Most of the events regarding sweetrobin in the books precede this verse and remain canon. Though he no longer suffers from frequent seizures, extreme moments of anxiety (such as the dead attacking in the crypt) still trigger them. He struggles to gain acceptance of the other nobles at first but soon proves himself to be a worthy Lord. Robin isn’t someone who fights in battle in this verse; having been sickly most of his childhood when he would have been training. He is a skilled hunter though and can at the very least defend himself if need be.

Robin Leach, 'Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous' Host, Dead At 76
New Post has been published on https://latestnews2018.com/robin-leach-lifestyles-of-the-rich-and-famous-host-dead-at-76/
Robin Leach, 'Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous' Host, Dead At 76
Robin Leach, who chronicled the conspicuous consumption of the 1980s on his syndicated show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” has died.
The cause of death wasn’t announced, but the New York Daily News said Leach had been hospitalized since November, when he suffered a stroke in the Mexican resort city of Cabo San Lucas.
Leach’s sons, Steven, Gregg and Rick Leach announced the death to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which the journalist wrote for after he moved to the city in 1999.
The family’s official statement read:
Despite the past 10 months, what a beautiful life he had. Our Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and friend Robin Leach passed away peacefully last night at 1:50 a.m. Everyone’s support and love over the past, almost one year, has been incredible and we are so grateful. Memorial arrangements to follow.
Born in London on Aug. 29, 1941, Leach began his journalism career at the age of 10 when he began contributing stories about his school to the editor of the local newspaper, The Harrow Observer.
He did well enough to be hired full time at the age of 15, according to the Review-Journal. From there, he moved on to publications like the Daily Mail, the New York Daily News and Ladies’ Home Journal. He also wrote the first 11 cover stories for People magazine.
Leach moved into TV in 1980, first at CNN, then joining “Entertainment Tonight” when that show debuted in 1981.
But he became a 1980s icon in 1984 when “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” debuted in syndication.
For 11 years, Leach documented the lavish lifestyles and luxury destinations of top celebrities, ending each show with the send-off, “Champagne wishes and caviar dreams.”
Leach moved to Las Vegas in 1999, where he continued writing about luxury, while living a relatively modest existence by his show’s standards.
He told The Hollywood Reporter in 2016:
I [live] very comfortably in Las Vegas, five minutes from The Strip. I don’t live in a mega mansion. I am not like the people I interview. I do not have a fleet of bodyguards or minders around me. I have an accountant and lawyer; I don’t have a manager. I do all my business by myself and I shop at the supermarket by myself because I enjoy it. There’s a Lincoln in the garage and a Jaguar in the garage. There aren’t 48 or 50 cars in the garage. I go to Europe once a year for vacation. It’s been a good life, and it’s always been a good life.
But while he made his name as a celebrity journalist, Leach had other interests as well, namely UFOs.
“It’s something that’s interested me from way back when in England as a newspaper reporter,” he told HuffPost in 2011. “And a good friend of mine, Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon, has told me stories of astronauts coming back to Earth reporting UFOs.
“Now, UFOs don’t necessarily mean little green men in Martian suits,” he continued. “But there are things that go in space, up there in the sky, that cannot be explained.”
Leach’s celebrity friends took to Twitter on Friday to pay tribute:

#RIP #RobinLeach - you crated the look and feel of Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous at the perfect time that eventually defined an era and people. I am proud to say at the ripe age of 24, I learn so much from Robin which ultimately inspired me with #OceanDriveMagazine attitude and style of Robin Leach, the debonair TV host who regaled audiences with talk of “champagne wishes and caviar dreams” (at East Hampton, New York)
