So I'm back with other questions

Which YN character (from your stories ofc) is your favorite & least favorite and why? (I mean regarding their character and actions in the story, because many readers find mcs in general insufferable since they come to terms with their feelings usually pretty late / its a love-hate relationship btw reader vs mc)

And last but not least, I'm very curious to know whether you have an all time favorite character from your stories (not necessarily the mc could be anyone) and which one is it?

Do readers generally dislike y/n? I have to say, that hasn't been my experience as a reader of other writers' fanfiction. It's a statement that makes me a bit uncomfortable because, to be honest, it feels rooted in misogyny. I've written fanfics from the male POV before (RMCC, TMM) and readers don't seem to experience the same frustration with their lack of understanding.

Along those lines, I don't think I dislike any of the y/n's that I've written. Even when they're being maddening, stubborn, obtuse, kind of abrupt - I'd much rather a flawed heroine who tries than a cardboard cut-out character. There are some y/n's I've written that I relate to more, but I think that in order to write a character, I have to understand what they think and why they act certain ways. It's hard to dislike someone once you understand them on that level! Even the villains I write, I can't say that I hate LOL

My all time favorite story character is surprisingly easy to answer - it's Seokjin. Every iteration, in every story; Seokjin. LOL thank you for asking, anon!
