my PERSONAL OPINION on ro//nance:
so a disclaimer: feel free to ship whoever you want to ship. these are just my thoughts and my perspective on the explosion of ro//nance since season 4. it’s not my intention to condemn or tell anyone to stop producing their content, i just want to scream into the void before it festers.
your wish fulfillment is valid, but so is my opinion. so if that’s not smth you want to see feel free to skip !!
diving straight in… i wanna talk about nancy wheeler.
to be clear: i don’t hate nancy. i think she is headstrong and determined and knows what she wants. she sticks to her guns and definitely has the potential to be a truly good person. that being said, she is extremely selfish in canon.
from season 1, my interpretation of her is that she’s infatuated with the concept of steve harrington and the status that he could bring. he’s a fantasy that’s suddenly become attainable to the nerdy miss wheeler. of COURSE she’s going to relish his attention.
note: i actually don’t think anyone else except barb, mike, and steve himself, ever called steve an asshole. so . do with that what you will.
anyway, nancy and jonathan act like steve suspecting that nancy is cheating is SO unreasonable. which honestly? it’s not. catching your girlfriend alone in her bedroom with a guy who TOOK NONCONSENSUAL ILLICIT PHOTOS OF TWO UNDERAGE TEENAGERS… that’s suspicious. perhaps his reaction wasn’t the best, but he’s also like 17 years old and protecting himself the way he knows how to. and of course his friends aren’t going to take that laying down either.
i don’t know if any of the supporters of ro//nance have ever been cheated on, but it’s not just heartbreaking… it’s HUMILIATING. and such a hit to the self esteem. and i don’t care what the circumstance is, unless it’s nonconsensual. cheating is cheating and i firmly believe that a cheater will always be a cheater.
in this case, it’s also reasonable for nancy to be pissed when she sees the movie theater because she didn’t actually cheat at that time. both of them had bad reactions but they also both had good reasoning behind their actions.
YES steve called jonathan a queer, but keep in mind it’s a common insult in the 80s, especially with the AIDS epidemic going on. don’t use modern standards to condemn him, but also don’t excuse his behavior. YES he was wrong, but he grew (obviously what with his friendship with robin). and do you really think he’s not going to go for the throat when he thinks that jonathan slept with his girlfriend?
it’s a classic case of everyone’s the asshole but everyone’s not the asshole.
moving onto season 2. BULLSHIT. nancy was projecting. like she felt so guilty about barb and associated that night with the first time she had sex with steve, so she associated steve with barb’s disappearance/death. she was processing her trauma which is totally fine, but also not an excuse to treat steve like that. to be fair, drunk words drunk words.
what she forgot was that steve also experienced the same thing. maybe not the grief and loss that she felt, but it’s HIS house. he has to stare out at that pool every night and know that it’s a murder scene and a grave site. he may be processing his trauma by trying to forget and be a “normal kid.” and that’s fine.
and to be SO clear: they didn’t technically break up. you could say that they did, or take that as your interpretation, but in my opinion they’re not broken up until they have a conversation explicitly discussing ending things. couples fight all of the time. it’s not uncommon to want a little space afterwards before apologizing/making up.
so yes. nancy cheated. and she never thought about the consequences of her actions, especially regarding steve. imagine how he felt. in season 3, he admitted to being IN LOVE with her. and she called him bullshit and cheated on him. be so real, if this happened in real life, you wouldn’t be as kind as steve. he stayed friendly with BOTH nancy and jonathan, and continued to babysit their brothers.
steve called himself a bad boyfriend, but did we ever see evidence of that? he was constantly wooing her and romancing her. like if she didn’t want that, she could have communicated that throughout the YEAR they were together. the only possible way that steve could be a bad boyfriend was regarding their difference in trauma response. which is not being Bad. it’s having different personalities and perspectives. so ??? just a gripe.
SEASON 3…. so YEAH nancy is selfish. her and jonathan’s job at the hawkins post … like YES fight misogyny and feel infuriated because of your treatment. however, don’t strong-arm jonathan into supporting you when he NEEDS that job. unlike miss picket fence upper middle class nancy wheeler, the byers don’t have a lot of money. they’re living on a single income and jonathan works too. like he doesn’t have the ability to just drop the job. of course, he follows her in the end though. honestly, that only validates nancy’s perspective that she’s always right and her crusade for whatever is righteous.
but she doesn’t care about collateral damage. she never took into account jonathan’s feelings. she never took into account the effect this could have on future jobs. employers DO check references sometimes fyi. (also i KNOW that it was due to a lot of misogyny, but irl new hires are often the company mule. like she could have tried to work her way up. she hasn’t even been working there that long, and she a high school student expects to be published within months?? just be a little realistic here)
i honestly commend her because she’s bold and she’s brave. she makes a GREAT reporter. but she makes a bad friend and a bad girlfriend. from what i observe, she takes things for granted and gives too much credit to herself. these are just character flaws and that’s human to have flaws. it’s possible to be a good person and also do bad things. i actually like nancy a lot, but it has to be acknowledged that she rarely faces consequences for her actions, and has never been confronted with the fact that she constantly puts herself first with no regard for other people.
just a quick note for season 4 bc this is getting SO long: when nancy told steve he “almost deserved” to get shot in the face. okay bitch. now i’m mad. bc? what did he do? and like. tbh WHO deserves to get shot in the face. i don’t care if it was supposed to be a flirty statement, it was SO out of pocket.
it’s also clear that nancy takes credit for steve’s “transformation.” if i’m being honest, the only thing she really pushed him to do was to drop tommy and carol. STEVE made the decision to run back in to fight the demogorgon. STEVE made the decision to help dustin and fight the demo dogs. STEVE made the decision to stay behind to watch the kids while they stormed the lab. show me one instance where nancy influences his actions, and i’ll acknowledge it, but i just don’t see it. and i think she gives herself way too much credit. because she wasn’t there by his side working through it with him. she was dealing with her own problems (which is okay), but she can’t act like she completely transformed him and made him a heroic babysitter. think on that.
into my thoughts on ro//nance:
robin is steve’s best friend. she’s not JUST his best friend. he’s her platonic soulmate. when they were conceived, they were a being with four arms and four legs. but they were Too Cunt and Powerful so they had to be separated. they are literally two parts of one soul.
now imagine: ur best friend admits he’s IN LOVE/HAS BEEN IN LOVE with his ex. and she broke his heart. that in itself already has me livid, but if i found out about the “bullshit” spiel, i would have to start throwing punches.
i believe in season 4 that the reason why robin is so curious about nancy is because she wants to know what type of girl steve fell in love with. like what’s so appealing about nancy that she’s the only one he said he fell in love with? and i also believe she didn’t know about the cheating at this time because NO WAY would she have been nice to nancy if she knew.
maybe you guys can forgive cheating, but i sure can’t. and especially when it happens to my best friend… it’s over. like sorry i treasure my best friend….
reiterating that nancy isn’t a bad person, but she just Doesn’t work with robin. putting aside robin’s opinions, nancy fucking hates her LMFAO. like she is So cold to robin out of? jealousy (a cheater is a cheater is a cheater). so it only really proves me right that nancy doesn’t actually care about the people she’s with. does she think that flirting with steve is okay after playing around with his heart before? has she ever taken into account the fact that steve may have been healing or emotionally unavailable? did she ever consider how steve felt after they broke up?
robin did. and she’s ride or die.
and a rebuttal to a post i’ve definitely seen before: yes, lesbians do tend to have a small dating pool which leads to a lot of friends dating exes. (i, a lesbian, have experience with this). HOWEVER, a cheater is different. because you have to acknowledge that a lot of lesbians stay friends with their exes. steve and nancy are AT BEST friendly in canon. if you would date someone who cheated on their friend, FULL OFFENSE, you’re not a good friend. that’s just a fact.
you’re not only completely disregarding their experience, but you’re also forcing them to be in the same space as someone who betrayed them. and that’s more of a betrayal than the actual cheating imo. sorry but IN MY OPINION, i’d never want to be friends with anyone who ships ro//nance lol. it just shows me that you don’t care about your friends’ feelings like that.
this is kind of a rant and totally nonsensical, but i have to yell about this bc i feel like it’s not even talked about. nancy is always characterized as a perfect girl, but she’s not. and that’s OKAY! but you can’t erase her history just to have two cute girls kiss.
it’s also completely ignoring CANON love interests (vickie). which i get because she didn’t get a lot of screen time, but god can’t we find another alternative.
and be honest: a lot of people ship ro//nance so that jonathan/argyle can get together too. or they act like it’s okay bc steddie get together and steve is happy now.
THOUGH steve would approve of the relationship bc he’s a GOOD guy and KIND, i think that robin would have rejected it. she’d defend that man to the DEATH.
so when you ship ro//nance, you’re erasing stobin. because robin would want someone who loves steve just as much as she does. someone who understands that he’s her soulmate and she can’t live without him. and nancy just isn’t that person. their history and nancy’s perception of steve just stand in the way of that kind of relationship.
not to mention that steve and robin are One. like this is more conjecture but they are Literally the Same Person. and if steve wasn’t compatible with nancy, what makes you think that robin would be?  honestly, the whole concept of ro//nance just completely bamboozles me. i’m confused and i’m irritated. because it’s almost like none of you have actually had a REAL relationship. or YOU don’t care about other people’s feelings. nancy kin i guess.
again again, my personal opinion. i choose not to consume ro//nance content, but somehow it keeps cropping up so i do have to put in my two cents. by all means, keep shipping and supporting them, but it would be nice if you read through this and thought about the characterization.

ro/bin trying to eat nancy out w a rly snzy cold xx 🥰🥰
so um. i'm not quite sure what happened here but this one really got away from me! MINORS DNI!!! (1.6k words)
cw: fingering, oral (f receiving), nancy has the kink (if this isn't your thing don't read!)
It’s embarrassing to admit, seeing as how they’ve only been separated for about 12 hours, but Nancy misses Robin.
Misses her so much, in fact, that she kisses her as soon as she sees her again, a greeting that Robin seems to accept before pulling away quickly, eyes wide with fear.
“Dadcy, wait,” she says, her nose twitching with a stuffy-sounding sniffle. “I’mb godda get you sick.”
I don’t care, Nancy wants to say; the sight of Robin’s streaming nose and flushed, freckled cheeks are enough to send a wave of arousal over her entire body. Instead, she sets down the soup-filled tupperware - the reason she came to Robin’s house in the first place - and presses a delicate kiss to the tip of Robin’s poor red nose.
“You said you’d let me take care of you, right?”
Robin nods, eyes narrowing suspiciously. “Yeah. *snrff!*”
Nancy isn’t sure where this sudden boost of confidence is coming from, but knows better than to question it. She tilts her head to the side, pressing a few slow, wet kisses along Robin’s neck and jawline until she lets out a small, pleasured noise that somehow turns Nancy on even more.
“Then let me take care of you,” she murmurs into her skin.
They manage to make it to Robin’s bedroom before reaching for each other’s clothes, pulling their shirts over their heads and discarding their jeans on the floor with giddy smiles. Robin winds up beneath Nancy on the bed, her short hair splayed across the pillow, eyes already filled with ragged desire. God, Nancy’s so in love with her.
“You’re so beautiful,” she says.
Robin rolls her eyes, delicately running her fingers across Nancy’s cheek. “Doe I’mb dot. I’mb disgustig. *snfff!*”
“Shhh,” Nancy chides gently, deciding it’s been too long since they’ve kissed. Robin reciprocates slowly, chapped lips parting just enough to allow Nancy to slip her tongue into her mouth, letting her explore like she always does.
“Dadce -”
“Yeah, baby?”
She tries not to pout when Robin tries to jerk away, but when her eyes settle on the other girl’s face - her eyes and nose pinching up threateningly - she instead finds herself smiling eagerly, a hot pool of desire settling both in her stomach and between her legs.
“I - hehh - I thingk I’mb godda -” She tries to pull away again, but Nancy’s delicate weight sat against her hips is enough to restrain her. “Hhh… Hh’schHHew! H’tchHHH! Hh’tchHHoo!”
The itchy-sounding sneezes coat the air between them with a thick cloud of mist. Robin’s eyes go wide again as she hurriedly scrubs away the tickle in her nose with the heel of her hand.
“Oh mby Gosh, Dadce, I’mb so sorry. That was so gross. Let mbe -”
She attempts to move yet again, but Nancy’s fingers gently curl around her wrist, lowering it from her face so she can get a greedy look at the bright red tint to her nose. She leans down to kiss away the worry lines on Robin’s warm forehead, spreading a few more across her freckled cheeks before dipping down to kiss her lips slowly and affectionately.
“I meant what I said,” Nancy whispers, brushing a piece of Robin’s hair out of her face. “You’re beautiful.”
Robin breaks into a smile - immediately proving Nancy’s point - before leaning forward, smattering a few heavy kisses across Nancy’s lips. Her tongue is a wet heat as it pushes into Nancy’s, who fights the urge to moan with pleasure at the up-close sound of Robin’s mucus shifting in her nose with every inhale, all wet and gurgling into Nancy’s ear.
“You’re really dot lyig?” Robin asks.
“Nobody who’s ever said that about you was lying.”
A few more lust-filled kisses before Robin’s hands are pushing against Nancy’s waist. Nancy recognizes the gesture, obliges by rolling onto her back, allowing Robin to climb on top of her. There’s a mischievous look on her face - one that Nancy’s seen several times - but this time, it’s accompanied by Robin’s glassy eyes and the sound of her soupy sniffles. This can’t be real.
“You cad take care of mbe later. *snrffg!*” She runs her thumb across Nancy’s bottom lip. “For dow, let mbe say thadk you.”
Yeah, no, she’s definitely dreaming. She tries not to gasp as Robin grabs at her breasts, her kisses like tiny sparks of heat as she trails her lips down the length of Nancy’s stomach. Nancy watches her every movement, fervently manifesting another tickle to enter her girlfriend’s nose.
“So pretty,” Robin says between kisses, massaging Nancy’s breasts in her palms. “I’mb so lucky.”
“I’m the lucky one,” she rasps. If only Robin knew the gravity those words truly held in this moment.
Robin continues to press slow, steady kisses across her stomach, wet saliva mixed with what can only be a trail of thin, clear snot left in her wake. She runs the tip of her index finger teasingly along Nancy’s folds over her underwear, smirking at the patch of wetness that began gathering there long before they even started kissing.
“You really did mbiss mbe, huh?”
Nancy giggles, cheeks turning a pale pink. “Shut up.”
Robin slides her underwear off with ease, tossing them haphazardly onto the bed before pushing the pad of her thumb against Nancy’s slick entrance. Nancy fights to catch her breath, especially as the other girl eases two more fingers past her folds, pumping with a steadfast rhythm she knows Nancy likes from months of experience.
Then, by what can only be some type of miracle, her breath starts to hitch. Nancy bites back a grin, watching the way Robin’s nose twitches, one of her hands still half-buried in her cunt.
“Let it out, sweetheart,” she urges. “It’s okay.”
Robin barely manages to nod before bending forward, the rough spray of her sneezes landing against Nancy’s torso. “Hh’schHHew! H’TCHHiew! Hh… Heh’tscHHew! Oh, fuck. *snurrf!*”
Nancy lets out another moan before she can stop herself; however, Robin must assume it’s from the way her fingers are still working her pussy apart, because she doesn’t say anything. Instead, she bends down, the damp underside of her nose brushing against the top of Nancy’s heat. Robin’s fingers have just started to probe her clit before she pulls them out, quickly replacing them with her flattened tongue.
For all intents and purposes, Nancy knows she’s done for. The more she cries out in pleasure, the faster Robin’s tongue works against her clit, a hunger that she’s more than happy to help her satisfy. Robin only pulls away when she has to sneeze again, her breath hot and damp against Nancy’s oozing folds.
“H’SCHHhew! HH’tschHHOO! Hp’TSHhiew!” She doesn’t even hesitate this time, unleashing much more intense sneezes right up against Nancy’s cunt. She tilts her head back just enough for Nancy to see that her nose is now dripping profusely, thick streams of mucus dangling from her nostrils. “Hh’PSCHHew! God, Dadcy, I’mb - H’tsHHHEW! - I dod’t kndow what’s happening - Hh’schhHIEW!”
“Just keep going,” Nancy practically whimpers. She reaches down to brush some hair away from Robin’s tear-filled eyes, sickly and squinting from the beautiful tickle that’s invaded her sinuses. “I - I’m so close, baby.”
Robin obliges quickly, her tongue lapping at Nancy’s entrance once again before she decides to dip her fingers back inside, curling them once she’s knuckle-deep.
It isn’t long before her pretty face pinches up again. “H-Hang od - Hh’TCHHh! Hmp’SCHHHh! *snxxxg!*”
Two more sneezes, impossibly wet and slightly muffled into Nancy’s dripping warmth. The harsh spray she feels from them is immaculate, sending a shiver down her spine.
“Bless you, angel,” she chokes out.
“Thaahhhngk you - Hh’PSCHHh! Hhehhh… Hh’SCHHhh! Hh’TSCHhhh!”
Nancy doesn’t last much longer after that; still, she tries to bask in the feeling that’s seemingly absorbing every single one of her nerves. When the tight coil inside her suddenly snaps, she swears it’s the best orgasm she’s ever had. Robin continues to tend to her all the while, her slick nose leaking onto Nancy’s folds as she diligently laps up whatever juices she can swallow. She only sits up when Nancy’s arms reach for her, seated against Nancy’s hips with one hand still pressed flat against the inside of her thigh.
Nancy blinks out of the haze of her climax, covering Robin’s hand with her own. She’s so blissed out that she doesn’t even notice the way Robin’s smiling down at her, both affectionate and rightfully curious.
“Geez, Dadce, that was - Oh, ew.”
She drags her hand across her upper lip, grimacing at the string of mucus that attaches itself to her fingers. With no tissues in sight, Nancy fetches her panties from the foot of the bed, holding them out to her.
“Just use these, baby,” she insists, trying not to sound like she’s losing her mind at the mere thought of it.
Robin glances shyly between Nancy’s outstretched hand and encouraging face before giving in, cautiously lifting the panties up to her still-quivering nostrils. The sound of thick snot bubbling out her sinuses as she blows her nose is nearly enough to make Nancy force her head back down between her thighs, especially as a large patch of mucus visibly soaks through the fabric.
She scrubs harshly at her nose when she’s finished, balling up Nancy’s underwear and tossing them across the room. “Thangk you. *snf!* That’s mbuch better.”
They share a smile as Robin crawls off of Nancy’s hips, curling up next to her. Nancy pulls her in close, meeting her blue eyes only to find that Robin’s already watching her, head tilted to one side with piqued interest.
“So…” she says. “Are you godda tell mbe what that was all about?”
Her tone isn’t at all teasing - the trace of a smile that’s still on her lips is purely loving in nature. Nancy presses a tiny kiss to the corner of her upturned mouth, shaking her head.
“Later,” she murmurs. She’s already halfway on top of Robin, eyeing her twitchy nose unabashedly as she cages her poor, sick girlfriend between her thighs. “Now, it’s my turn to say thank you.”

This is coming from me, a massive lesbo dyke etc, but I'll never understand why people want Weiss to be f/f in canon when clearly the writers have no intention of it.

Thinking about Robin taking cassette tapes from Nancy’s room, one of which is a mixtape Jonathan made for her and playing that and ultimately saving her from Vecna. No one else there knowing Nancy’s favourite song apart from Robin and that song being one that makes her think of Jonathan. It makes her realise how she’s loved and how Barb’s death is not her fault. It reminds her of how Jonathan was there that night and never blamed her. He knows what happened and knows it wasn’t her fault. She doesn’t need to feel guilty anymore.

Nancy felt a pair of hands on her shoulders. She looked up from her work to see her beautiful girlfriend. Nancy smiled, grinned even. "Hey, Nance! I got you some food! I know you overwork yourself, so promise me once you eat this you'll get out of this dark room and we can go for a walk, alright? You're going to go crazy in here. It may not seem like your eyes need a break, but you're smarter than that." Nancy was half listening, staring at those dazzling eyes as she dug into the sandwich, already mostly through it. "You're right, I know." She smiled "I'm going to go grab my coat while you finish that, alright?" "Of course, Barb, you're the best!" Nancy came back as she got her last look at her girlfriend's face as she turned to walk out the door. And she was the best. Robin Buckley was the best girlfriend she could ask for.

sorry to bother you but I jsut had the funniest thought and immediately needed to share with someone. Ronance endgame is good because of Many Reasons but it would be so funny if Holly also ended up with a girlfriend in the future, therefore eternally dooming Mike to always be the only boy in a clusterfuck of sisters
it's a good thing too bc mike would be absolutely miserable with a brother i know this in my heart

i actually wrote a second part for a fic of mine and i don't hate it?? anyways, you could totally read this on its own, but if you see this and you haven't read part 1, i would really appreciate it if you did!
pairing: ro/nance
word count: 2.3k
warnings: lots of buildup, fingering (f receiving), mess, na/ncy has the knk, you could probably argue that ro/bin does too but that's up to the reader honestly :) MINORS DNI!!!!!
Nancy doesn’t get sick - prides herself on the fact that, despite having two younger siblings and a knack for winding up in uncanny situations, at least her immune system never seems to fail her. Which is why, when she wakes up a couple days later with an uncomfortable pressure lodged in her sinuses, all she can do is groan dramatically, tenting her arm over her face.
“Shhh.” Robin’s arms slip around Nancy’s waist, her chin nestled up against her shoulder. Her voice is still delightfully plugged up, half-hoarse from sleep and all the recent coughing. “I’mb tryi’g to sleep.”
“Sorry,” Nancy whispers. Her throat is dry. “I… don’t think I feel very well.”
Silence. Robin’s arms recoil from her waist; Nancy doesn’t have to look at her to know that she’s feeling guilty about it. She finds her hand under the mess of blankets on the bed, giving it a rough squeeze.
“‘S’okay,” she murmurs. “It’s just my head.”
“For n’dow.” Robin sniffles. It’s a wet, congested sound - one that makes Nancy lower her arm from her face so she can eye her girlfriend’s poor, chapped nose as inconspicuously as possible. “Just wait ud’til you start sdeezi’g as mbuch as mbe.”
Nancy fights the urge to smile. On second thought, she doesn’t exactly hate the sound of that.
Unfortunately, the only thing that seems to progress as the day wears on is her headache. She doesn’t actually feel it until later that night - that never-ending, thin trickle of mucus that only seems to exist to tickle and torment one side of her nose. She tries to snuffle it back to no avail.
“Hhhhh… Hehh’ngxt!” She pinches her nostrils together, blinking back the tears that have sprung into her eyes. Each sneeze seems to double the amount of pressure that’s been building in her head all day. “H’gxxtch! *snff* Hn’GTchh! Guh. Excuse mbe… H’ngktt!”
Robin rubs her girlfriend’s shoulder, pouting sympathetically. “Bless you.”
“Thagks,” she mumbles, rubbing her nose miserably. Being Robin’s spectator these past few days has been so riveting that she stupidly forgot the strong likelihood of getting sick herself.
“Poor thi’g. You already sound so stuffed up.”
Some of Robin’s consonants are returning as her nose has begun to unclog throughout the day. Luckily for Nancy, she’s still just as sneezy, her pert nose a captivating shade of red from days of constantly wiping and blowing it.
“Oh, shit, mby turn.” Nancy watches in awe as her girlfriend falls victim to yet another round of sneezing. Robin’s eyes flutter shut, her jaw slacked in anticipation. “H-Hang on, it’s - hH’ESCHhh! There it is. Huh! Hihh-! hih’ITSCHh! ‘tsSHHiew!”
She emits a series of loud, soupy sniffles that make Nancy fight to keep from squirming in her seat. However, her thoughts are quickly interrupted by a second tickling sensation deep in her own sinuses, twice as harsh as the one before. She clamps her wrist firmly against her nose.
“Hn’nkgt! Ihh’Gktch! *snfff* ih‘MPtch!”
“Bless -”
“Ng’xtchh! Sorry.” Nancy sniffles wetly, the sleeve covering her wrist becoming increasingly damp. She inhales sharply, her nostrils still quivering. Stifling only serves to make her nose even more tickly, she's just now realizing. “Hnn’ktch! Hih’NGtt!”
“- you,” Robin finishes, sounding a little amused.
“Guhhh… *snrrf* Okay, I thigk I’b dode.”
Her eyes are still squeezed shut from sneezing when she feels warm, gentle fingers tenting a fresh bundle of tissues over her nose.
“Blow your ndose, Nd’ance. It’s okay.”
Nancy’s almost sure her eyes double in size. She sniffles defiantly, letting her nose run into the cotton. “Robid, you dod’t have to.”
“This is like… what you’re indto, right?” There’s nothing teasing or taunting in her voice - just a spark of curiosity lighting up her features as she tightens the tissues around Nancy’s nostrils. The corners of her mouth lift encouragingly. “Go ahead. *snrf!* It’s okay, babe.”
Nancy gives a slight nod, her embarrassed flush fading as she starts to blow her nose. Robin pinches one nostril shut, allowing Nancy to clear one side of her nose before switching to the other, using the tips of her fingers to massage away any lingering tickles in her girlfriend’s sinuses. The tissues practically soaked through, Robin tells her to give one final blow before tenderly wiping the remaining mess away from her face, offering her another bashful smile.
“How’s that?” Robin asks, adding the tissues to the abundant pile on her nightstand. “I mbean… Was that good?”
All Nancy can do is nod again, taking an experimental breath through her nose. She knows she doesn’t have much longer before the congestion returns, so she takes the opportunity to give Robin a much deserved kiss. Her cheek is a feverish flame under Nancy’s hand as she cradles her face, pulling her in deeper.
Robin’s smile widens once she breaks away. “So it was good.”
“So good,” Nancy agrees, fervent desire rising from her stomach to her chest as Robin lays on her back, allowing her to straddle her waist. She rubs her thumb against a shiny spot on Robin’s lower lip. “But you kn’dow - *snff* - what I’b really idto, right?”
Robin nods, staring up at Nancy as she runs a delicate finger down the bridge of her nose, careful not to irritate the tip where it’s chapped and tender. She brings Nancy back in for another kiss, sincere in the way she sucks at her top lip, tasting like something familiar and sweet.
“I think I’ve got mbore thad a few sdeezes left in mbe,” she whispers. Nancy tries not to let it slip that it’s the hottest thing anybody’s ever told her.
That’s good to hear, she means to say instead, but then Robin’s kissing her again, slow and deliberate in her movements. She decides to let her take the reign this time, fatigued from her new cold and her simple desire to be touched. Robin obliges, weaving her fingers through Nancy’s hair while Nancy lowers the weight of her torso against Robin’s chest.
“H-Hang od,” Robin suddenly says. She doesn’t pull away at all this time, her breath coming out in desperate spurts before she unleashes a round of heavy, wet sneezes inches away from Nancy’s face. “IHhschhiew! hh’TCHHh! Hih-! ih’HHShew!”
“I - Bless you,” Nancy stammers.
“You don’t really m’bean that,” Robin says, grinning.
“Just ‘cause I like heari’g you sdeeze,” she pauses, pressing a quick kiss against the tip of Robin’s nose, “doesd’t m’bead I wad’t you to get possessed by the devil. *snffg!*”
Robin giggles. “Dork.”
They only manage to kiss for another ten seconds or so when her nose starts twitching yet again. Nancy eagerly brings her hand back up to Robin’s face, brushing her thumb over a smattering of freckles right by her left nostril as she starts to sneeze.
“Ihh’CHHhiew! ehh’SCHHhoo! ‘TSCHHh’uhh!”
“God bless you, baby,” Nancy whispers, involuntarily grinding her hips down onto Robin’s. The other girl is too much a sniffling mess to notice, her nose all red and glistening as a stream of clear mucus makes its way onto her upper lip.
She goes to wipe it away, but Nancy’s already got a fresh tissue in her hand, tending to her nose as gently as possible. She folds the tissue in half, bringing it back to Robin’s nostrils with a firm squeeze.
“Blow,” she instructs.
Robin obliges, displaying none of her girlfriend’s initial reluctance at the idea of blowing her nose into her hand. She settles her hands against Nancy’s thighs once she discards the tissue, tracing small circles over her skin with the pads of her thumbs.
“Do you…” Robin’s features flicker with hesitancy. She swallows, peering up at Nancy with soft eyes. “Do you want mbe to help mbake you sdeeze?”
Nancy blinks, a fresh wave of heat quickly settling in her cheeks. “Robid, you really dod’t -”
“Yeah, I know I dod’t have to, but I…” she pauses, gliding her hands towards the inner part of Nancy’s thighs, her slender fingers working the skin right next to her heat. God, she’s a menace. “I wad’t to.”
“Robid -”
“You’re so stuffed up. It could help.” She smiles, looking so pretty it hurts. “Just… let me try somethi’g. Please?”
Before Nancy can even verbalize an answer, one of Robin’s hands lifts up to cup her face, the tips of her fingers ghosting the skin surrounding her nose. Nancy’s not sure how, but somehow she’s able to find the exact area where her sinuses are the most inflamed, a spot that’s swollen and tender to the touch.
“Aw, ad’gel,” Robin coos. “N’do wonder you’ve got a headache.”
Nancy lets her eyes fall closed, focused completely on the movement of Robin’s fingers, pinching and loosening some of the pressure around her nose. She doesn’t realize her other hand has crept even further up the length of her thigh until the heat of her hand is radiating against the front of Nancy’s underwear, her oversized t-shirt having been hiked up several moments ago.
“Is this okay?” she asks.
Nancy nods meekly, relishing in the feeling of one side of her nose loosening up enough to let a bit of air pass through. She sniffles thickly, tilting her head back.
“That feels incredible,” she rasps.
Robin moves to the other side of her nose, applying small amounts of pressure to her lower sinuses with some gentle massages. “How’s that?”
“Perfect. Thagk you.”
“I guess I shouldn’t feel too bad.” Robin slips her free hand through the fabric of Nancy’s underwear, expertly palming her bare heat. “That I got you sick.”
“Dot at all. *snrrf!* Trust mbe.”
One of her fingers passes through Nancy’s folds, causing her to gasp in pleasure. There’s a satisfied smirk on Robin’s face that somehow makes her even more enticing, all at once surprised and inquisitive in her ability to consistently fulfill all of Nancy’s needs.
“Are you goi’g to sdeeze soon?” she says softly. “Dod’t hold back, baby.”
Robin presses down on Nancy’s sinuses one final time before her airways are clear enough to allow a thin, watery trickle to escape the thick congestion in the upper parts of her nose. Robin manages to lower her hand from her face before a set of rapid, powerful sneezes explode out of her.
“ehhSSHH’uhh!” She doesn’t stifle at all this time, letting out a small gasp when Robin digs another finger past her folds, knuckles curling at the perfect angle inside of her. “ahh’TCHHHhiew! ‘KSHHHhew! … Hahh - ISCHHhh’uh! Sorry, I cad’t - ASCHHHIEW! - cad’t stop - hh’ESCHHHH!”
“Do you wad’t me to keep goi’g?” Robin asks, looking slightly panicked.
Nancy suddenly realizes how aroused she’s gotten in such a short amount of time, leaking hot and heavy onto her girlfriend’s fingers as continues to pump them in and out of her entrance.
“Y-Yes - ehhSCHHHOO! - please… *snuurf* ‘TSCHHHhew! hh’TSCHHH’uh!”
Nancy sucks in a deep breath, using the gap in her sneezing as an opportunity to wipe her streaming nose against the back of her hand. It isn’t long before she notices Robin’s gone uncharacteristically quiet. Through her sickly tears, Nancy can see her face twisting familiarly. Holy hell.
“hihh’SCHHew! Shit. *snffg* hh’PSCHH! eh’ESCHhew!”
“Fuck, Rob,” Nancy breathes, letting out a tiny giggle.
Robin smiles up at her, looking blissful despite the mess on her face. Nancy leans down and kisses her, ignoring the salty taste on her tongue, the way Robin’s lips initially twitch in protest before melting against hers. Her fingers pick up the pace inside of her, working her clit until all she can hear is the gurgling of Robin’s soft sniffles, her head thrown back as she quietly falls apart.
Nancy sits frozen like that for a while, jaw hung and thighs trembling while Robin diligently brushes a tissue across her skin, mopping up any slickness she can find. When she comes back down to earth, Robin’s still smiling, brushing her lips over Nancy’s knuckles with a tenderness that feels infinite.
“Come here,” she says.
Nancy lets herself fall into her side, sniffling her bright red nose while Robin drops a smattering of kisses along the top of her head.
“That was…” Nancy begins, her vocabulary coming up short. She doesn’t know if she’ll ever be able to articulate how she feels right now.
“Yeah. It was.” Robin agrees, squeezing her tight around her shoulders. “Hhh… hh’ehhSCHH!”
“Bless y-you… eh’SSHHHOO! *snrfg!*”
Robin laughs. “Back at you, baby.”
They room goes quiet again, Robin’s hand absently stroking the damp skin at Nancy’s navel while Nancy presses the side of her face into her chest. She feels wide awake now, Robin’s gentle touch still registering as wild sparks of heat. She’s never felt so perfectly pleased in her entire life.
“So…” Robin says, clearing her throat. “Would you wad’t to… do that agai’d later?”
Even after everything, Nancy still blushes, taking her bottom lip between her teeth. “I mbead… I ab still pretty stuffed up.”
Her voice lights up with clarity. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
Nancy lifts her chin, kissing her for the hundredth time tonight. Kissing her in a way that she hopes communicates how happy she feels right now. Robin laughs again, winding her arm around Nancy’s waist as she tucks her face into her neck.
Now that she truly knows how to push all of Nancys’ buttons, Nancy can’t wait to figure out how to push all of hers.
