Persephone — Shipped with Idia, who is based on Hades.
Robin — It's a pretty name!
Neko — I'm not gonna lie, she started off as a Sona so I just shortened my Discord handle and then I couldn't decide on a name for her.
Since she makes claims about being a "pedigree cat", I remembered that purebreds tend to have long, fancy names. So I decided that Neko is a nickname because her real full name is embarrassingly long.
Fawkes — Pun on the word, "fox".
why'd you choose your oc's name?

What’s a hobby they used to have that they miss? (For any two characters of your choosing, any one OC you’re really itching to talk about!!)

Initially, I thought that maybe crochet would be a good idea, because Robin was raised by her grandmother. I could see the two of them bonding whilst her grandmother teaches her how to make and mend clothes.
But, I actually think that Robin would like needle felting! Perhaps she liked to make cute little creatures (birds, rabbits, cats, dogs, etc.) out of felt as holiday gifts!
Sadly, when you're caught up in the whirlwind of chaos that is being a student at NRC, finding the time or energy to stab something thousands of times until it takes shape is probably difficult.
Maybe the week before winter break, she'd greet Jack with her fingers bound up in bandaids from all the little nicks she'd gotten from jabbing herself with the needle from being so out of practice. She'd brush off his concerns with the usual smile before informing him she brought him a gift, reaching into her bag and presenting him a little felt, grey wolf.

White Fragility
Host Aubrey Hicks is joined by professors Chris Redfearn and Liz Falletta in a discussion of the New York Times bestselling book White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo.
On today's podcast, we talk about how white fragility works to sustain and reproduce the racist institutions & socialization which we all inherited.
Scheduling in the Spring semester is always hard. We decided to go ahead with a three white person panel for this particular book. We hope to model the kinds of conversations we hope are happening across the country in predominately white communities. To echo DiAngelo, this isn't about guilt, it is about the responsibility we have to make the world better for our fellow citizens.
We make mistakes and welcome feedback.
Thanks to all of you who have shared feedback with us before & to those of you brave enough to share with us in the future.

Bookcast Epi 74: Updates, QTNA+ How I Write Series #1- In the Beginning
"Readers will dump your book if your inciting incident is not interesting. If your inciting incident is something that's commonplace. People want stories to be relatable, but not ordinary, not unremarkable." -- DL White- Episode 74, The Bookcast by DL White
Welcome back to the Bookcast where I share my short stories and updates on my reading and writing.
I'm getting ready to write The Pearl at Black Diamond, book 3 in the Black Diamond Romance series. I'll discuss my progress in the writing update.
Today, we'll begin with the book report and start a new series called How I Write. I'll talk about how I start a book, keep the middle interesting, and end a book. I'll admit I'm not an expert, so I'll use resources and tips. I'll cover the main points of writing a book and then talk about my own process. I'm not a coach or a guru, I just focus on bringing a good story to readers and don't use a lot of technical writing jargon. My goal is to explain things in a way that anyone can understand, especially if you're wondering how it's all done.

New Post has been published on http://www.theleader.info/2017/03/06/gordon-wins-first-montgo-trophy-year/
GORDON WINS THE FIRST MONTGO TROPHY OF THE YEAR
On Friday 3rd March Montgo Golf Society played a medal competition at Oliva Nova for the St Davids Day Trophy, very generously sponsored by Vic and Carla Chaszczewski. There seems to have been a sudden rush of members back to Spain over the past few days as we had a full house of 48 players, with several more on the waiting list.
It was unfortunate therefore that we had three no shows on the day, denying those on the waiting list the opportunity of a game.
As usual Vic and Carla made a great effort with the prize giving, adorning the presentation table with the Welsh flag and including some Welsh delicacies in the prizes. In first place was Gordon Gleeson with a fine 70 off 17.9, just pipping Penny Barden with a par beating 71 off 15.1. Third place went to Jan (I’m too old to be playing this game) Jones with an excellent 72 off 29.2. Brian Redfearn took fourth with a nett 74 off 12.9, pushing Ed Wallace (9.8) in to fifth place on countback. Sixth was Shaun O’Gorman with a nett 75 off 5.4 and seventh was Feli Baybut with a 76 off 14.2.
Nearest the pins went to Mike Oxley on the 3rd, Celia Cronin on the 11th, Shaun O’Gorman on the 5th, and Ed Wallace on the 18th. Longest drives on the 14th went to Celia Cronin for the ladies and Robin Thatcher for the men. Finally there were four two’s, scored by Liz Butler, Gordon Gleeson, Michel grin, and Derek Hall.
Our next event is on the 17th March, when we will be playing a stableford competition at Oliva Nova for the St Patrick’s day Trophy, sponsored by John Feek.

Gonna give this a shot because I feel like it~
Robin Redfearn
Sounds like somebody just knocked over a priceless vase and now has to work off her debt in Octavinelle...
Persephone
Cosplaying for Idia, perhaps My God, the poor boy's heart might give out!
Neko
No cat ears sadly, so you will have to witness the unbridled horror that is Neko without them. A fearsome sight, to be sure.
Tagging: @shadowwalker593, @junowritings, @mopotatoes, @kotobukicutie and anyone else who feels so inclined~
Hehehe I found a good picrew, feel free to chain with your TW oc's! (picrew linked here)

💕 all of them :3c
Thank you so much for the Ask, my little Pumpernickel! Mother shall oblige. She even made banners for the occassion. :3
Without further adieu,
The Pros and Cons of Dating…
Pros
Extremely loyal. She isn't easily swayed by other people and tends to prefer to judge people as she sees them. She also knows that the self most people exude tends to be heavily armoured, so she tends to be patient with those who don't tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves. It's a matter of building up trust and she understands that it takes time.
Is good at prying people out of their comfort zones whilst still being patient. She attempts to take these ventures in small steps in the hope of building her partner's confidence, bit by bit.
Given her turbulent home life, she tends to understand others who have had similar experiences to her. She understands the need to feel safe around people before truly being able to open up.
Her love languages are physical touch and gift giving. She'll spoil her partner with small gifts (more often than not, little trinkets she finds out on walks, like shiny pebbles, or a potted succulent). She gives very comforting hugs.
She's willing to try anything at least once, so she's all too happy to try out her partner's hobbies and interests.
Cons
Very forward. This can be off-putting if she's dating a more shy or reserved person.
She can often get frustrated with a lack of reciprosity. While patient, she feels taken for granted if the relationship feels one-sided. Sometimes she expects a level of effort that the other person may not be capable of.
Defensive. She doesn't like to be criticised and can either be dismissive or angry when faced with it.
Persistent. If her partner is resistent to her attempts to 'help' them, she can sometimes become overbearing. Though she often feels guilty for it later, she can overstep boundaries if she isn't careful.
Can feel hurt when her attempts to show physical affection are shut down. Touch is very important to her.
Because she's so focused on being a positive light in her partner's life, it's hard for her to communicate when something is bothering her. This often means that negative feelings fester and build.
Pros
Robin loves people very deeply and shows her love in small ways rather than grand gestures. She likes to cook meals, bake treats, sew holes in clothes, knit them scarves when the weather gets cold, help them study and such. She's very service oriented.
Is delighted by the littlest gifts. You could wrap her present in a red ribbon and she'd keep it forever. Robin likes little gifts with a personal touch that show her partner thought of her when they purchased or made it.
Encouraging. Robin understands what it's like to feel small or insignificant, so she wants to spare others from feeling the same way.
She notices the little things about people. How they like their tea/coffee, what they like to get from the vending machine, the rhythm of their steps as they walk, the cadence of their laughter. She holds it all very dear to her heart.
She believes in people's ability to change and grow. Robin is very forgiving and will try to work through hard patches with her partner rather than resort to accusations and resentment.
Family oriented. If the goal for the relationship is a big, happy, extended family, Robin is incredibly happy. She will become your parent's favourite child.
Cons
Robin finds it hard to ask for the things she wants. Her needs often go unsaid, which means that she falls victim to excessive give and very little take. Her partner needs to be able to read her well and not everybody has that ability.
She's prone to idolising the people she admires, which makes her easy to take advantage of.
Robin has very low self-esteem. Without a partner who will help her build her self-reliance, she tends to look for external validation.
She works best as being support in a group or team. Robin struggles to be comfortable on her own. This might clash with a partner who prefers to have space.
Robin's ideal relationship is almost fairytale-esque. It's near impossible to maintain constant happiness all the time, and she may blame this simple fact of human nature on her own feelings of inadequacy.
Pros
She has a very good sense of humour, and she has a very eccentric manner about her. Neko has a natural charisma about her that people can get swept up in.
Flirtatious. When she likes someone, she lays it on thick. There's not really any doubt as to whether or not she's interested. If she's interested, you'll know.
Despite her very (for lack of a better term) camp nature, she is capable of enjoying the quieter, calmer moments and savouring them for what they are. Sometimes you don't need words.
She remembers little details people tell her. The show they watched the other day, the book they used to love when they were a kid, their favourite thing to eat on their birthday. She tries to commit these to memory so that she can connect with other people easier.
Her go-to for cheering people up is humour.
Cons
She's terrible at remembering dates. She doesn't forget anniversaries and birthdays out of malice or thoughtlessness; she just struggles to keep track. Still, these kind of events can be deeply important to some people, and neglecting them can lead to a potential partner feeling overlooked or inadequate.
Under all that bravado, Neko has a lot of unresolved issues with self-esteem and worth. She hides her insecurities with an inflated sense of confidence and when the mask slips, it can be easy for her to shut down. She feels as though her true self is unlovable.
Struggles with vulnerability. It's hard for her to express how she truly feels if the feeling is negative.
Fears rejection and abandonment. This can make people feel as though she doesn't really trust them.
Her use of humour as a coping mechanism can make people feel as though she isn't taking their problems seriously.

Jack x Robin: Glow
I couldn't think of a more clever title lol
It's not my most polished piece, but I'm just glad to have gotten it finished! It's about time I drew something for these two. I do have some sketches of them, but I never finalised any of them... Mostly because Jack's hair is such a challenge to draw (especially from the side ;u;). I hope you'll like it nonetheless, though! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!
The background was very much improvised.

Made my Twst ocs using this.
Both Robin and Persephone technically take the place of MC, but when I did a personality alignment for them to determine which dorm they'd be in (because I'm a nerd), Persephone matched with Heartslabyul and Robin matched with Diasomnia!

I was doodling in bed to wind down and I was surprisingly happy with this. Some Jack x Robin!
Robin is very timid initially, but I think once they get a bit closer, she'd be more open with her affection. Much to his embarrassment!
