It’s been a month is Benny died and I’m still struggling with my grief. hard . I’m trying to be strong mentally and remind myself my feelings and the situation is complex. Bennys side of the family has been alllll drama. At the end of the day as soon as they knew there was some type of money to be got from Benny’s passing lil Benny jumped like a shark that’s smelled fresh blood. God sees all and he’ll see how they didn’t even want to give him a fucken priest to give him his final blessing. There so fucken greedy so fucken disgusting behavior. It’s like he died and they’re like “ok but how much money can we save by getting the cheapest shit possible, he’s dead anyway”. My heart feels heavy day in and day out as I try to navigate thru my grief, I try to occupy my mind in a healthy way. I don’t even bother talking about it with Ruben… the comfort I need I know he can’t or won’t give. I honestly, in my heart of hearts…don’t even know anymore. He’s been a little more than insensitive at times & in turn I feel this resentment bubble up, this disgust ..@ the lack of empathy he has had for me. If not as a friend, a human, if not then AT LEAST as his fucken wife. It makes me meann& then I feel guilty.. it makes me angry. There are 3 true trials in a marriage I believe aside from temptation that is always knocking @ the door. Loss of job/finances, sickness, and grief. For Vinny’s passing I was there for him& continuously ask about Brandon. Because I love my husband and his pain, I can help him carry it. He doesn’t have to be alone. I am his rock& I know it. Thru Benny’s passing he has not. I am strong, day by day things will change in my heart.. I can’t lie to myself and say it doesn’t make me fucken sad that I’ve realized I can’t depend on him here… but fuck man that’s life. LOL how the coookieee crumblesss. At least I have the satisfaction of having voiced my frustrations. I definitely made it clear if my mom dies & he acts the same as now. I will not forgive him. We’ll cross that bridge when we get there… When that time comes I will lose my mother&best friend & if he shows me he cannot be my rock in my time of need. I will be alone. Fin. I feel like I’m in limbo. Time is passing so slow and so fastt at the same time. But I don’t feel any better?? Despite everything.. Last week was a wonderful distraction to my heavy heart. We had our first every doggy vacay. I had a wonderful vacation with my rocketboi&Ruben.
