P***s Fish’s YouTube Channel presents:
WHAT’S IN MY TOTE BAG? BUCKY BARNES EDITION
[BUCKY]
Hi! I’m Bucky Barnes, “The Artist Formerly Known as The Winter Soldier (TAFKATWS)”, “Soft Boy” and “Bubble-wrapped Naked Rodin Statue” and I’m here to divulge the contents of my viral tote bag, which was featured prominently on the Narwhal Prize winning non-fiction book, Rom-Com Boat Hell.
This is the bag—soft, delicate-looking, and made from eco-friendly canvas. I love it because it’s simple, dirt cheap and can fit a lot of stuff. I think it can hold two full-sized flounders, or five inflated blowfishes, or five to eight kilos of rock lobsters, or maybe a seagull or two, like most of you tuned into this channel would actually carry on a daily basis.
But I’m a proud metrosexual and prefer to sunbathe half-naked in urban fields rather than on seashores or boat decks, so I tend to carry fewer sea-based items.
So, without any further ado, I’m happy to share with you what’s in my tote bag:
1. Super Protect™ SPF150 sunscreen (bubblegum scent). This one’s custom-made for me because I tend to combust upon contact with the sun, like a sexy, pale vampire. Plus, it keeps my alabaster skin from burning to a crisp. The consistency is oily and slick, my preference, as this usually makes Sam believe he’s applying oil on my back and pectorals.
2. A couple of paperbacks. I’m currently reading the self-help book, How to Say I Love You For an Emotionally Constipated Idiot in Love, which is not doing anything for me. I also carry this New York Times™ bestseller, Mutual Pining Apocalypse, which is a romance-horror novel about two muscular guys who slowly fell in love in the midst of a zombie outbreak. The zombies died and rotted on the road while waiting for them to bone.
3. 8x magnification binoculars. I use this to observe Sam’s unholy biceps from a distance, for example, when we’re on recons or high-stakes surveillance missions.
4. Ten packs of mussel chips. These are for fast metabolism purposes and low-key Torres bribery. Because Torres munches on and breathes mussel chips like they’re the only things keeping him alive.
5. My wallet, of course. It contains cash, credit cards, receipts, some coins, copies of warrants, and a naked picture of you-know-who.
6. 1 Gallon of Ben and Jerry’s™ Plainest Vanilla Ice Cream. I don’t know, but the flavor is so me.
7. Butter knife. This is used to open raw shellfish, spread almond butter, aioli, Vegemite™, marmalade, etc., and for self-defense purposes. It’s a versatile and handy tool to have in your bag.
8. Anti-mosquito lotion with hyaluronic acid (25 ml). This one is essential when you are deep inside the engine room, doing maintenance work and there are deadly mosquitoes attempting to bite your neck. So rude.
9. Hardbound Diary. This is where I pour out my hopes, dreams, emotions and carnal desires.
10. 1,000 grams of Petroleum Jelly. This is to prevent chafing. Because...I chafe. Like a lot.
11. 20 unused strawberry-flavored condoms. I have had these for like ten years already and are probably expired. I do not wish to elaborate.
12. A box of Kleenex™ tissues. For wiping sweat from my chiseled body. And maybe some other bodily fluids. This show is PG-13, right? Right?

MWW Artwork of the Day (1/29/25) Auguste Rodin (French, 1840–1917) The Man with a Broken Nose (1875) Marble bust, 45 cm. high Musée Rodin, Paris
Originally produced in 1864, this work reflected the world-weary face of a poor man nicknamed Bibi, who lived in Rodin's neighbourhood. But that year the winter had been harsh, the head of clay froze, split and the entire black part shattered. Once the head was completed anew, the hair redone in the manner of Greek philosophers, the work was carved in marble and assumed the air of a Socrates with the impact of an antique bust. Its exhibition at the Salon of 1875 constituted Rodin's first real victory.

👤 Mood: happy
💼 Productivity Stars: 2/5 ⭐
Today I returned home after my mini-vacation with my friends so I had more time to focus on studying and getting some reading done. Tomorrow I'm going on my second (and last) vacation trip for the summer, to Crete, with my friends and I'm going to be gone for about a week, a week and a half; since I'm mostly going to be spending my time with them I won't have the time to focus much on other tasks and that's why I'm probably not going to post from 26/08-03/09. See you all when I'm back!

Homemade Parodinal Recipe
Makes 150ml developer concentrate for B+W film and paper – enough for many rolls of film, see usage below. Cost: pennies per roll. Typical buy quantities may last a lifetime.
WEAR GLOVES – Caustic Soda burns are nasty! Work outside. It’s easy but be careful.
16 x 500mg tablets paracetamol, crushed (cheapest kind with no added stuff)
20g sodium metabisulphite (ebay, or sold as Camden tablets from brew supply)
19g sodium hydroxide (sold as Caustic soda in hardware stores)
Cooled boiled water (boiling softens and reduces dissolved oxygen), seal while cooling to reduce re-absorption.
1) Dissolve slowly 10g caustic soda in 50ml water. It will get warm. While still warm add the paracetamol, stir and allow to cool (always add soda to water and not the reverse).
2) Dissolve slowly 9g caustic soda in 70ml of water, allow to cool and add metabisulphite.
3) Mix two solutions at room temperature and add water up to 150ml. Decant to a darkened glass bottle that you can exclude air from. I use some well washed and dried discarded small medicine bottles because that’s what was around. Try to have as little air at top as feasible.
4) Allow to 'meld' for at least 72 hours. I gave it a shake now and then, no worries.
There will be crystals that deposit at the bottom of the bottle, those appear to act as oxygen scavengers and should not be removed.
Oh and word of warning - do the mixing in a well ventilated area and nowhere near photo film or paper as sulphur dioxide from camden tablets will fog them. Wear eye and skin protection when mixing, caustic soda burns are nasty. See “Fight Club”... Usage and Dilutions:
You can use like Rodinal developer. The batch you mixed is concentrated. It lasts for decades if well stored. Dilute it with water in various strengths for use. Like Rodinal it gives nice grain with lower ISO films, and pronounced grain, some say ugly even at higher ISO – say 400 and up. Longer development times seem more grainy. You have some control. See: Massive Dev Chart Film Development, Film Developing Database Examples:
1+25, faster, typically ~ 4-5 minutes. eg. 12ml into 300ml water, 150ml batch does 12 rolls of film.
1+50, slightly slower, around ~ 8 minutes but economical. eg. 6ml into 300ml water, gets 25rolls per batch.
1+100, for 60 minute stand development, acts as multi-ISO, grainy. eg. 3ml into 300ml – 50 rolls out of 150ml batch. Yikes.
(pdf printable version available here)
Notes:
This developer is usually made with sodium sulphite but sodium metabisulpite is often more readily available from brew supply shops (and cheaper). From my online reading I believe mixing the latter with sodium hydroxide converts it to the former and that's why it is mixed separately and then combined. In any case I've used the above method and it works fine.
I often fill 5ml syringes with the developer and have on hand for quick and easy measured use, quick mixing and then into film tank. Use old jars for mixing as you don't want this stuff on kitchen food utensils.
The above info was gleened from various online forums and sources. There are youtube videos showing how to make Parodinal as well.

Instead of Nero, I thought of using Dante as the lead of 4
Nero didn't appeal to me because he felt like a Dante wannabe with a lame love story at the end of 4. He was more interesting in his concept art but the final product left much to be desired.
A problem with 3 is that it felt more like a beginning than an end. So spending more time with Dante in the ten year gap felt more fitting than jumping back to him post DMC1.
I would've had the anime, 4 and reboot as Dante's year 1/2/3 respectively.
Here are two pitches for a Dante lead DMC4-
Option A)Dante was raised in Fortuna. Nero just acts like a more juvenile Dante so I'd just do a game where Dante was raised in Fortuna after his mom dies. It's divided into two time periods- the first half is focused on 16-17 year old Dante before he left and the later half focuses on 25-27 year old Dante being asked to come back by Kyrie to help out with a crisis. I'm leaning towards an upstart general of Mundus looking to make a name for himself and that could be Berial. The original ending where Kyrie leaves after Nero kills Credo is used for Dante here. They are ex-lovers who have to come to terms with each other's present in order to save the day and that allows you to do more with the uninspired love story.
Vergil gets a segment called "Prince and the Pauper" detailing Dante and Vergil's reunion at 16. They grew up living seperate lives and throughout this half you can set up his envy of Dante while he plays the role of uneasy ally against Sanctus.
Option B- It's a straightforward sequel to DMC3.
Dante gets approached by Sanctus's predecessor to be the champion of Fortuna and protect it from Mundus's upstart general Berial. Sanctus is the general and planning a double cross for both his predecessor and Dante.
Nero is cut into two characters-
A) Nero is a young man whose forced to become a demon by the order. He struggles to keep his sanity and Dante has to make a choice about putting him down.
B) Rodin is Vergil's 5 year old son whose mother is apart of the local coven. Dante gets suspicious upon seeing him and investigates.
Trish gets a segment called "Rolling Thunder"- it's showcases how she infiltrated Fortuna as Gloria except this time it's for Mundus.

Jour 25
Allez viens on trinque!
