The director of Fallen Order/Jedi Survivor created a new studio. I'd let them take a crack at Jak and Daxter as i felt Jedi Survivor was what a new Jak game should feel like.

DMC Roleswap AU thoughts

what if Vergil and Dante swapped roles?

-I feel like the good guy version Vergil would be like Chihiro from Kagura Bachi as a teen. An awkward and introverted hero traveling around fighting demons. He seeks to control his demonic heritage through discipline and training.

-this take on Dante reminds me of Mercury from RWBY.Carefree but amoral. Sells his services to the highest bidder and revels in the thrill of his powers.

What are your thoughts on what if Vergil and Dante swapped roles?

Reynatis was announced for the PS4/PS5.

My Twitter feed went nuts because it looked like Verum Rex. It looks fine but underwhelming

Lost souls aside looks like the more intersecting Versus 13 spiritual sucessor currently.

I would've preffered Verum Rex over KH4 so I guess I'll just wait and see how it turns out.

DS2: ON THE BEACH thoughts

The mysterious blonde woman is probably Lou reborn as an adult woman.

Is the puppet possessed by a BT?

Are Fragile's new hands a new level of DOOMS?

DS gets a world tour arc.

Did the puppet possess the robots fighting Higgs or did Lou?

Is Drawbridge's new benefactor DieHardman or Heartman?

The Tar could be creating chimeras. The Captain's winged cat could be one of them.

Timefall seems to destroy environmental additions like the bridge.

why I fell out of love with KH

I don't think Kingdom Hearts is that confusing. I just felt it had poor exposition and pacing. It doesn't explore its own ideas well. That's present since the first game, we just noticed it in the 2nd game, and it became harder to deal with after the 2nd for me.

Sora becoming less appealing with each entry didn't help either.

In hindsight I wished we retired Sora after 2 and skipped Xehanort completely and went straight to the age of Fairytales.

I would've been fine with our new protagonist being a Dandelion waking up in the present day and trying to piece together what the Master of Masters is doing.

After we get that Versus 13 trilogy. ;)

Oh well, I'm hoping Verum Rex could be a fresh take for the series but I'm doubtful. The Xehanort Saga failing to keep my interest doesn't give me alot of hope.

my pitch for Sony's MCU- the Diamond Universe.

I'd probably focus more on the non spidey heroes like the Slingers, Puma, Nightwatch, Cardiac etc as Sony could be a place D-listers to thrive.

I'll call it the Diamond universe- diamonds in the rough. ;)

Most of these characters are built around Spider-Man. Instead of Peter, I'd probably use Ben and Kaine as the main spiders of this universe. It's a way to have your cake and eat it. There was a Spiderman but he died and these are the replacements.

The overarching event would be a mix of Clone Conspiracy and Clone Saga.

Villain spinoffs are likely to happen but rare as most of the focus characters are antiheroes. So we'd have to figure out how to really set them apart.

My hope on Persona 6's approach to spinoffs.

I don't mind Persona entries getting spinoffs, I just prefer the sequel approach of Strikers and Arena over the anime filler approach of Q and the re-releases. I'm hoping P6 avoids that trend whenever it gets spinoffs.

PS. I'm not sure I'm ready for the Nyarltholep Saga but I'll cross that bridge when I reach it.

Since KH was my intro to FF, I thought it was a fitting tribute for FF8's 25th anniversary.

It also would be a cool unlockable outfit. ;)

re: how to adapt Persona in the west

I think the Trinity Soul anime would be a good case study for how to do a Persona adaptation.

It's a new story set years after persona 3.

The P5 mobile game is another way to go. It's a whole new cast as Phantom Thieves years after P5.

So doing a new Persona story set in the west would be the best way to adapt Persona. Each entry has a whole new cast, location and premise so that gives you a lot of options.

Any of the Persona games could work as a multi season TV show. P5 is the easiest because it has a more episodic gimmick than the others.

Honestly most US comic adaptations are pretty loose so I'd expect Persona to be the same way. So doing a Western Counterpart is better than putting P5 or P4 in NY or Texas.

I don't mind doing a social satire like Ewing's work on Immortal thor and Hulk. I'd probably lean into that if I was rewriting DmC as a case of the week story.

DMC Renioun pitch

I'd probably rewrite the reboot to be a canonical entry called DMC Reunion.

Dante's son Tristan was kidnapped when he was 12. Dante finds him 5 years later in Limbo City.

Tristan is a criminal secretly working to overthrow the demon that rules the city. The demon bad guy was Mundus's court magician trying to use Limbo City's human population for his ascension to Mundus's spot. Dante's victory over Mundus back in the first game caused an upheaval in the Underworld.

There is another faction with angelic powers working but there is skepticism about their origins. One of their leaders looks and acts like Eva. ;)

I'd want Tristan to look like this fanart of Yozora from KH. Someone did fanart of Yozora as a Machinist from FF14.

KH self insert pitch

I start out as a 15 year old and I will get older as I adventure.My keyblade is Kingdom Key D which causes everyone to be wary but I persevere.

I'd probably swap outfits during my travels so here is my wardrobe.

My partners would probably swap with each adventure-My first adventure would be with Oswald the lucky Rabbit. He teaches me how to use the Keyblade and we bond over being outsiders.

My second would be with Max Goof and Webby. We learn how to work as a team and I learn how to be a big brother.

Third would be Kasumi from Dead or Alive. It's more of a romantic comedy/drama. ;).

My archenemy would probably be Demyx. Battle of the insecure slackers. ;).

I’m Noctis meets the 12th doctor basically. ;)

Ghost Machine review

This issue works as a showcase for Ghost Machine's upcoming titles. It's 6 short stories for the price of one.I'm curious about the first 4 (gieger, Rook exodus, red coat and the rocketfellers) but Hyde street and Hornsby felt too lacking to catch my attention.

P3 Reload thoughts, hopes and a wishlist.

I remember borrowing this game in high school but never finishing it. I guess the remake is another shot to finish it.

I'll probably pick it up later in the year. I'm still finishing up P5 and Strikers.

Surprisingly they stopped with persona games in a shared universe with 5. As the Investigation Team and Shadow operatives would get more involved in the Phantom Thieves's escapades.

There are rumors of a DLC and its probably the Answer.

You could have the characters from the first 2 Personas game pop in as they investigate the Apathy Syndrome/Dark Hour/kirijo before the game's events.

I'd be cool with a prequel dlc focusing on Shinjiro/Akihiko/Mitsuru before the games events. Just title it P3 Memento Mori. ;)

I liked sho and labrys from p4 Arena so I'm curious what they did during p3.

I would've preffered the re-released editions as sequels so having an epilogue with the female protagonist would canonize her. Just have her be a new member to the Shadow operatives.

The new SEES gear is cool and i hope it pops up in other games.

my take on superhero legacies and Ultimate DC

Superhero Legacies should be a starting point. I feel creating of new identities like Duke as Signal, Irey as Thunderheart, Jai as Surge etc are the way to go. It's wonky, but I feel like it's a more fruitful path than just having more Robins/kid flashes, etc.

The new 52 was a half assed restart, and Future State became a half assed succession, but they feel like they can fix each other's problems.So, having "Ultimate DC" as a remix of both could salvage the good and mitigate the bad of both eras.

FF7 Dirge of Cerberus remake ideas

I never finished it, and the story was underwhelming.So, I'm curious what the new timeline/remake would be. I don't mind exploring more of Vincent's past in Shinra's early days beyond Hojo, Lucrecia, and his father.Maybe an epilogue set 500 years later with Red XIII?

Sora and the others became less appealing with each entry. So I'd be into a new cast separate from the current characters.

Yozora/Skuld/Ephemer would be a nice trio to pal around with.

Just add Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and I'm sold…;)

So having Yozara traveling through Ff14 would also be cool.
