Not Gail Simone deleting her post after being called out without even acknowledging the issue.

The twitter post she deleted was of her saying ‘lol this person keeps going’ towards someone (probably younger person) who was defending themselves from the army of people harassing them in her X-men/Rogue relationships related threads.

She specifically made a new twitter post to make sure that person kept being dragged and made fun of. For a creator with so much weight in the comic book industry this was disappointing to see.

One thing that I've been thinking about for a long time is the very existence of the Angel and the Devil (or the q!Rubiuses, for reference.) Because everything else on the island is so clinical. It's quite literally and canonically an experiment, just watch back the egg adoption vods and the announcement video calls it such. But then there's the Angel, or Lil' J, and there's the Devil, or Satan, who are both explicitly supernatural in nature. The Angel's dad is God. The Devil's dad is... Super Satan or something idk, point is they're both supernatural.

And the Federation hates them.

Cucurucho and the Angel do not get along. They are literally and completely at odds with each other.

But then we have them working together at the funeral to give the parents a couple final moments with their kids.

And now we have the books Baghera found tonight referencing both God and "the angel". It's God's work, whatever "it" is, but maybe "it" is the world. Maybe God, Lil' J's dad, created Quesadilla Island. The Host, or the guy running the Host because "The Host" probably refers to a program of some sort. A host is a computer network, and we've all seen the huge network of islands on El Quackity's canon launcher screen.

The Angel and the Devil aren't supernatural. They're workers, maybe, but the Devil notably is NOT supposed to be on the server. Just the Angel is. So the Devil might be a rogue researcher or something, fuck if I know, the Rubiuses' lore is like. Barely anything rn. But it'll be more soon because Rubius is coming back in one way or another, whether it's as the Angel and the Devil or as the 'human' (read: furry) version of himself he mentioned way back during r/place last month.

I really need to sit down and draw perhaps the funniest, but potentially most dangerous move I ever did in d&d and it was back in my first game-

#the party didn't trust this noble or king or something to actually pay us for the job we got hired for #and I hadn't been rping much because New and Scared and Nervous #but I was playing a rogue! I had really high dex so my stealth and pickpocket were pretty good #so I very quietly raised my hand and my little elf went “if you guys promise to help me if it goes wrong... I could just steal it”#and EVERYONE went “nooo no way you'll def fail and get killed or jailed and it'll fuck us out of the job entirely”#and I took that personally you see #and the paladin.... was the one who really put his foot down #so I.... waited for everyone to file out of the house to go home... and turned to the DM and was like #hey... you can tell me no and I'll let it go and drive home BUT #can I roll to pickpocket the paladin's sword off him and then see if the player noticed it gone from his inventory?#just to prove a point #and my dm god bless her let me!! and rolled for the pally's perception to see if I got caught instantly #and wouldn't you know it... I pulled it off clean as fuck #so next session rolls around and we spent like 30 minutes with me sweating like I'm high at a job interview with the cops #before the DM was like okay gang roll for initiative and I almost physically stood up to be like HEY REAL QUICK #SIR PALADINSON YOUR SWORD DON'T ASK WHY I HAVE IT RIGHT NOW WE GOTTA FIGHT #so I almost locked our front liner in combat without his sword out of spite LMAO #IN MY DEFENSE I was a rogue and was on such good behavior and hadn't done anything illegal until that point #also yes that really was the paladin's name we were all new to dnd and hadn't clocked what vibes we wanted at the start #Candra has really gone places since this but that spite... that is core to her lmao
