Deleting my dating apps because I want to meet someone the old fashioned way (i meet this depressed human kid one day at stonehenge and learn he’ll be my first friend in the future but not really because im gonna be manipulating him and his friends the whole time so i can get my long lost family back and we can rule over all humanity together (yay!!!), but later end up going to two diff schools for magic and accidentally caring about him despite me being a human hater bc humans destroyed atlantis, only for him to ask me for help to destroy magic and i realize how evil my family really is and that everything they told me my whole life was a lie)

biblically accurate cyrus?

this was originally going to be a sketch at first, but then. i coloured it.

also! i know this is probably unintentional, but 'cyrus' means sun, and 'merlin' looks a lot like moon, soo i made the colour scheme like a sunset to show emrys, the in-between :)

the halo is very random. but i think it's cool

you can see the torn wing on the right a bit better, i think it's supposed to symbolise something but i forgot

the lines sort of dripping down are supposed to be like sand grains because time = hourglass = sand = sun = cyrus hehe

i'm not the greatest at character design, but i kinda like this!

So... Emilee needs to put herself out there more. She did what most people do in a new town: she got an app. Basically... I WANT YOUR SIMS. More info below the cut.

Now, I know a lot of people gameify these things like reality shows. I don't watch reality shows... so I have NOT ONE SINGLE IDEA of how that works. Sorry.

Still, we can have fun doing this the old fashioned way. What will happen: 1. I'll load all the potential matches into the game and stick them all on a single lot in the neighborhood. (sucks to be them) 2. One at a time, I'll have them go one dates with Emilee. 3. We'll check their first impressions and see how they get on. (There will be no selfie with interactions - that's basically cheating.) 4. If it goes well, they'll get a second date. 5. Whoever has the highest combined relationship (friendly + romantic) at the end of 3 dates, will get to start dating her officially. 6. Aging will be temporarily turned off so we can get this done properly. About Emilee: 1. Favorite Movie: Get Him to the Greek 2. Favorite Radio Stations: Blues, Spooky and Alternative 3. tiny cyrus (the revenge of magic)

this is half a revision of my timeless one design and also a version of cyrus before he went to the carmathen academy (and before he knew he was trans [which is a hc btw]) so he's around 8-10 yo here

my thoughts/hcs on cyrus' backstory \\//

*a lot of stuff is NOT CANON*

to me, merlin is like his weird uncle who shows up, shows cyrus how to do some complicated time magic, says "don't trust your family" or some cool facts about atlantis then leaves for a year without explanation

but merlin always treats cyrus very matter-of-factly, not giving him that much praise or comfort, just playing the role of older, more knowledgeable self, and cyrus grows to resent him for that. oh yeah and also yknow merlin doesn't want the old ones to return and everything but cyrus only finds that out later

meanwhile, his family would shower cyrus with praise and support, saying he was the strongest of the eternal ones and would lead them anew to 'bring order to chaos' blah blah blah

(which is supposed to be a reference to this if you didn't catch it) \\//

so that's why cyrus was so loyal to his family, because they supposedly accepted and cared for him. but haha no goddamn backstabbing ketas; sierra was a better mind magic user than you ever will be-

also cyrus got his british accent from talking to merlin because at first cyrus admired him a lot (who wouldn't have gender envy for merlin??), but post TCO and he's stuck with the accent now oh no

tiny cyrus (that's what im calling him now.) is basically just the owl house collector. because shh they have similar backstories. and ketas is belos, or the old ones are the archivists. after all ketas is like belos, has a history of manipulating people, especially children (see also: a bunch of his family; michael; damian, kind of)

Hi! Mod Spark here. I hope this doesn't discourage anyone else from enjoying their own ships, but the character dynamics that interest me most are: Fort and Sierra; Rachel and Jia; Fort and Cyrus!

Odds are it was the latter, because Glyn, who has a cameo in Clarence G. Badger's film It, billed as "Madame Elinor Glyn," was a master self-publicist. "It" gets several definitions in the course of the film, all of which are really just a relabeling of what has always been called "sex appeal." In the end it boils down to "whatever Clara Bow had." One of those definitions, delivered by the Madame herself, is "Self-confidence and indifference to whether you are pleasing or not," which actually doesn't fit Bow's character, Betty Lou, who is never indifferent to whether she is pleasing the object of her attentions, Antonio Moreno's Cyrus T. Waltham. She even flings herself on his desk to flirt with him. It is really just routine rom-com stuff: Girl spots boy, girl lands boy, boy makes a premature move and gets slapped for it, girl rejects boy because he thinks she's an unwed mother, boy pursues girl but she rejects him again when he wants to make her his mistress instead of his wife, girl concocts revenge plot that goes awry so that at the end girl gets boy anyway. Today, It is mostly a rather creaky relic whose interest lies mainly in its display of Bow's abundant charm and comic finesse and in the appearance of Gary Cooper in an uncredited bit as a newspaper reporter -- he barely even gets a foot in the door in the film. The credited director, Clarence G. Badger, had a long and undistinguished career, and even though some of the film is said to have been directed by Josef von Sternberg, it would be hard to single out his contribution. Moreno, the leading man, is stuck with an unfortunately fluffy mustache, and the comic support by William Austin is marred by the fact that the orthochromatic film stock turns his blue eyes almost white, making him look more than a little creepy. The climax takes place on a yacht called -- get it? -- the Itola, which I think was originally the Capitola but had its first syllable lopped off for the sake of the joke.
