Hi my name is Ronan Dreamer Dementia Raven Lynch and I'm very Irish (that's how I got my name) I used to have shoulder-length black hair but I shaved it off and now I have no hair and icy blue eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like my father Niall Lynch (AN: if u don't know who he is get da hell out of here!). I'm related to Declan Lynch but I wish I wasn't because he's a major fucking bore. I have dream magic but my teeth are straight and white. I have pale white skin. I'm also a stereotypical delinquent, and I go to a rich person school called Aglionby in Henrietta where I'm in the seventh year (I'm seventeen). I'm a goth (in case you couldn't tell) and I wear mostly black. I love Murder Squash and I sing it all the time. For example today I was sitting in Adam Parrish's (ADAM PARRISH!!!) car and I put on the Parrish's Hondoyota Alone Time mixtape and he almost killed me for it but I didn't really mind because if anyone had to kill me I'd want it to be him. I was walking near Cabeswater. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of people I'd disappointed at some point in life stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

LAST SONG: was POST PUNK by the crystal method (ft. iggy pop) from my MISTER IMPOSSIBLE spotify mixtape, a ronan lynch playlist, which is currently blasting out of my speakers to motivate me to be alive.

CURRENTLY WATCHING: just about to finish SILO then i think i'm gonna maybe start EVIL and i've just put SANTA CLARITA DIET on my list at the behest of @heavensenthale. mili, i'm notoriously bad at committing to watching comedy, so i don't know when it'll happen, but it definitely looks like a hoot... some comedy i did actually manage to watch recently was CLASS OF '07 which was actually fucking brilliant. highly recommended!

CURRENTLY READING: ppft well. honestly, loads of stuff. i start books, then i start new books. then i buy new books i intend to start (i mean, i do finish them all. eventually). some i even read from start to finish in one sitting! i just haven't managed to do that for a while... fic-wise, i just started SACRED IN THE ORDINARY by idyllspace (sterek, teen wolf) which is great so far, and TIME HAS COME TODAY by teen_dean (@urne-buriall destiel, spn) which is amazing. and there are so many other fics open in so very many tabs omg. i'm also reading vonnegut's CAT'S CRADLE (again) and still dipping in and out of ENTANGLED LIFE by merlin sheldrake. i just (finally) bought THE LAST WISH by andrzej saprowski so that's in the running to be started very soon. oh and i was also just sent a novella by @poebin that i started last night when i should've been sleeping, woops. ps i'm absolutely not mentioning greywaren again like i have in these tag games for the last year or so—because you cannot make me finish it! nobody can! *muhahaha!*

CURRENT OBSESSION: lush gorilla scents. like, it's been an obsession for a good long while, to be fair, but it is absolutely peaking again and i am struggling to reign in my ebay bidding. just bought a bottle of their SUPERWORLD UNKNOWN (but at a much cheaper second hand price, woop) ...so, get a wiggle on evri and bring me my nose crack!

Never, Never - A canon divergence Pynch fic in which Kavinsky kidnaps Adam instead of Matthew. 

Sincerity - A Gangsey polycule fic in which Gansey is having a crisis about whether Adam actually loves him or if he’s just part of the package deal.

Non Noncere / Kith and Kin - a post Mister Impossible AU in which  Adam fixed everything and now he and Ronan need to figure out where they go from here, while Declan figures out how to continue to keep his family safe in a world where all the magic is now out in the open.

Magnetic [working title only as there is already an excellent TRC / Pynch epic of that title out there] - A fic I started writing after Mister Impossible, before Greywaren came out, where Adam, Gansey, Blue, and Henry try to fix everything. 

Miseducation - Pynch PoalboP (Porn only a little bit of Plot) wherein Ronan Lynch decides to have fun with Adam’s teacher / older man kink. 

Terms and Conditions - Pynch AU in which Gansey has discovered that the best way to keep Ronan from self destructing is for him to be dommed, but Gansey is only willing to do it platonically / hands off (sorry Ronsey shippers, there’s plenty in the polycule fic?)  Adam was kicked out of Harvard due to a false cheating accusation, and now runs a completely illegal “smart device” management business with an exorbitant termination fee which he uses to blackmail the ultrawealthy. 

Mere Coincidence - A TRC Good Omens Pynch AU in which Ronan is the angel, Adam is the devil, and Gansey is the antichrist

After - TRC Pynch AU where everything is the same except Adam is the ghost and Noah is alive.

While there are many many bruce springsteen songs that we could associate with these characters this is in fact a significantly MORE cringe post about. what these characters think of bruce springsteen. Since they are of course real people who grew up in small town virginia they have real experiences with Bruce's music.

Blue as a child enjoys his music because it has fun associations, like... it's the soundtrack of county fairs and fourth of july fireworks. Then for the first half of her teenage years she thinks of him as trucker music good ol boy music and is deeply condescending towards his music. Then she reads some interview or listens to some lyrics more closely and flips to being an equally passionate Bruce Defender. Because my baby girl is a condescending thousand year old brat and a hypocrite, she never acknowledges having ever held any other opinions <3 She says she loves him for his politics, but really she loves him for writing songs about longing for something More

Adam (another beloved case of cognitive dissonance) hates certain Bruce songs in particular because they're the ones that his dad (and men like his dad) listen to. Glory Days etc (honestly most songs off Born in the USA) he can't listen to. But he's also very much the sort of person who listens to the lyrics of, say, Nebraska. Streets of Philadelphia. Adam Raised a Cain. Brilliant Disguise. and thinks wow I'm probably the only person on earth who Gets what this song is about. Because teenagers <3

And finally Ronan! What Ronan (a guy whose music taste consists of traditional irish folk music and EDM) thinks of bruce springsteen is that he went back and forth about fifty times over whether or not to put I'm On Fire on his cringe mixtape for his cringe crush (hidden between renditions of cringe meme songs). He dreamed so many alternate versions of this mixtape that he's not 100% sure which tracklist ended up on the final copy, and it's possible (it's fact) that im on fire slipped through.

Bonus Gansey, who likes to cosplay as a country boy, wants Bruce's cover of Shenandoah to be his wedding song with Blue <3 (or possibly If I Should Fall Behind)
