A helpful Beast Digimon that desires to help other Digimon, KnockoutWolfhoundmon wishes to be a great hero and will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. It is a very friendly Digimon species and has a tendency to get along with and charm whoever encounters it. As a Combat-Species Digimon, it is recognized to have great potential in its endurance and strength. When dangerous and villainous Digimon threaten it or its friends, it shoots a flaming energy fist at the enemy (Power Fist).

And here is the boy in Digimon form! I tried to make the drawing similar in style to the Digimon Reference Book art. I think I did good enough but I'll let you all decide to see if it captures the same feel. The fist was horrible to work with and i don't think I'll ever be happy with it. I based the pose on one of the stock poses of K.O. mostly this one.

I did tweak it a little though but the basic are there! (Also I only realized as I was sketching it that I could've used the poses in the intro but that was here nor there.) I also cross-reference actual Reference Book description to make the description close to an actual Reference Book description. The purple highlighting on the move described is based off of how Wikimon highlights things. Hope you all enjoy!

(Legally adopted as a teen by Umino Iruka) Uzumaki Naruto's Crests would be Hope (Virtue) and Greed (Sin). Her digivice is a medium orange D-Ark/D-Power (which lacks the card slot and) which has a crimson rim (around the screen) & matching buttons & a likewise strap with the clip for attaching the digivice to things being medium orange. The digivice's dark grey square screen has 1 of Naruto's Crests appear on it in medium orange whenever he connects with her Digimon partner emotionally in ways that link to the either of the 2 Crests. Taomon as her Digimon partner.

Her nickname is Kurama and she's female, but fine with using male or gender-neutral pronouns. The duo initially don't get along beyond the moment that formed their spiritual connection & caused the digivice to appear, neither understanding the other at all; but they eventually manage to bit by bit re-connect which is why Kurama can digivolve with Naruto's help. The culmination of their platonic bond lets them (with Kurama in her Renamon form) matrix digivolve into

Sakuyamon.

Been thinking a lot about Part 5 characters with Digimon, and I think Lucemon would be a very fun partner for Giorno. Lucemon is typically an antagonist in Digimon media, so I think it'd be interesting to give a partner like that to Giorno, who keeps them in check with his strong moral compass.

Also the angel symbolism is just really neat and it works pretty well with Giorno being the son of "God" (aka DIO).

i could see that working too yeah! it could present an interesting dynamic where lucemon's ability to evolve depends entirely on how well they work with someone like giorno, and if he's partnered with a lucemon who doesn't share the same vision as him it would present an opportunity for an arc where one or both of them have to compromise on their views and act beyond strict ideas of good and evil to grow stronger. the only problem that comes to mind is the satan mode that's both visually and thematically the opposite of giorno in many ways, i guess it could make for a nice contrast but it might be a bit much for my tastes lol

also i may have mused about these jojo digimon shenanigans enough to have pucci partner with a lucemon as a way for him to create his new world oop

Outside of Beelzebumon, who would you consider to be a Digimon Sexyman?

So I don't know when exactly this is gonna happen, but I'm seriously considering setting up a Digimon Sexyman tournament, just for funsies.

Thing is, I don't know who the fandom would consider a Sexyman (although I certainly have my personal picks), so I could use some input!

I grant you a Digimon partner and evolution line. If you don't know, Digimon evolve through several levels that are different species and evolution isn't always permanent. Evolution lines are also very open and pretty much anything can evolve to anything else.

For the Rookie/Child level I give you Pillomon. It's not a cow (there aren't any at this level), but sheep are still family Bovidae so I think it works. It's also based on counting sheep to go to sleep and it gives people pleasant dreams while they sleep.

Pillomon will evolve to Bullmon. It's a bull powered by hope that has a temper and gets mad when it sees red. It charges full speed at whatever angers it and needs to come to a stop before it can turn or go backwards.

Bullmon will evolve to Vajramon. This mino-centaur is an honorable and noble warrior who disdains the cowardly and seeks to detatch itself from material concerns. Vajramon is the most physically powerful members of a group of Digimon called the Deva who help guard the world and are based on Buddhist legend and the Chinese zodiac.

At the final level of Mega/Ultimate, there is once again no cow, so I'm going with AncientMegatheriumon. It's a horned ungulate so I'm going with it. AncientMegatheriumon lives in the frigid polar regions and is powerful enough to destroy icebergs with a charge. It is one of a group of super ancient Digimon that are the progenitors of modern Digimon. AncientMegatheriumon is the progenitor of mammalian and ice Digimon.

Uhmmmmm soo. Over the past few months I've been seeing a lot of complaints or comments that digimon has too many designs which essentially boil down to “There are too many designs that are just humans in costumes.”

And for a while I just nodded my head and went Yeah Alright, because I Understood where it was coming from (the way most perfect + ultimate levels tend to become more humanoid over their predecessors) and thought it was a valid complaint even if I don’t agree. But eventually it got to the point where I got legitimately invested in wanting to know How Many Digimon there were that you could classify as “basically humans” and well. Here I am.

For the past week or so I came up with my own “categories” and counted how many digimon fit under each category to then later put into a graph like the one you see above ^

I did all of this for like, first and foremost My Own Interest, but I decided to share the results anyways in case someone else thinks this topic of discussion is interesting? I'll include as well under a read more a more in depth guide to the data i've accumulated as well

FYI, Important disclaimers: This is all highly subjective. Im not trying to claim these are any sort of objective categories canon to Digimon or that the results are objectively canon. You may think some or all of these categories are deeply redundant, or you will disagree with me over what counts as say, A Monster or A Furry or A Humanoid, and that’s fine. There are also digimon excluded from the total, most notably digimon that are cameo/minor characters in a singular digimon property, or recolours (ie Gabumon versus Psychemon) or which had minute design differences (Like, almost all of the different Agumons) because I thought including all of that was redundant or unnecessary. If there was a major difference in designs (ie Original Falcomon versus 2006 Savers Falcomon) however I did consider it as a separate design. Also, no X antibody designs were included, because oh my god there are already so many digimon and the X antibody designs could probably merit its own pie chart.

So, anyone remember the Monster Kid AU design post and how I would post more about this KnockoutWolfhoundmon? If so, then today the day! I basically wanted to create multiple OK K.O. inspired Digimon and when I was making the Monster Kid design, I came up with a technically-more-than-three-but-more-simple-to-say three way crossover that partners up a digimon version of K.O. with Monster Kid. Though rest assured that KnockoutWolfhoundmon would be used in more than just the Monster Kid Tamer AU! More Info Below.

This is the Digiegg! I basically drew a fist in the center on two sides on the egg, a circle marking on the top, and as much stripe marking as I could justify. I think it does a good enough job in indicating what type of digimon is within. Not much to really say, honestly. It seems pretty self explanatory.

I am grouping these together since they're basically just a normal Paomon/Xiaomon with color differences. Normally, I depict individual digimon to have various details and coloration differences are no exception! However, digimon usually have colors close to their species and this little guy is considered particularly odd in how he has a more brown coloration than other individuals of his species.

The baby boy himself! I basically used K.O.'s werepuppy form from "We Got Fleas" as a reference! Seen here! I used the concept while incorporating digimon design aspects. (Marking around the eyes and slightly torn clothing for the slight grittiness factor the franchise uses from time to time for one.) I didn't have one particular digimon I used for inspiration, I mostly just went for the vibes of a heroic/protagonist kind of digimon, the type you would see a leading protagonist of a Digimon series to have as a Partner Digimon. The closest digimon I could say this little resembles is I believe Labramon. I drew him to have rounded (Or mostly rounded) features and somewhat bright colors to give him a friendly and trustable look to him. Something that would say "I want to help everybody no matter what!" I feel like that would be what the type of vibe a digimon based on K.O. would give.

TurboKnockoutWolfhoundmon

Oh, is this boi EDGY. It would be a crime not to include a T.K.O. inspired digimon to go with my K.O. inspired digimon! There isn't any wereanimal to go of off for this one so I decided to make him a wolf. Here, I went somewhat ham on the digimon design aspects in a way. It was used to showcase him to be a dark and dangerous digimon. The Digital Hazard which used to indicate rather dangerous or potentially dangerous digimon, the Mark of Evil, which is on evil digimon, down to the leather arm straps that early virus digimon had. For inspiration, I had various virus digimon in mind when coming up with him. Gazimon in particular I used as partial reference for his eyes. With Turbo over here I drew to have sharp features and dark and dull colors to give the feeling of a menacing beast of a Digimon. The one exception to the colors is his eyes, as I wanted to make them somewhat saturated yet still sort of dark to make them stand out. He has much more torn clothing to sell the threatening effect too.

Pretty hastily slapped together, but here's a comm sheet for those who were wondering about the prices in my pinned post! I'm a little nervous about taking comms from social media again, but I'm open to it as my family needs the money so often now...

More recently, I've taken to working on iPad - this will be a more common thing as the summer months roll around and it becomes too stuffy to stick to my PC for working on art.

Here's what I CAN do, for the moment:

Cute, simple designs - Pokemon and simple (rookie-level or earlier) Digimon are a strong suit of mine, but if you have a wonderfully simple OC I can work with too then it'll do!

Cats. I loooove drawin' cats! If you have a Warriors OC, chances are I can draw em.

Fluffy stuff overall! (As long as it's simple enough, obviously - Fluff is another comfort thing I looove to work with. This means literal fluffy stuff like fuzzy animals/critters, and figurative fluff like cuddles and tickles!)

Sans!! (No seriously, I funkin love drawin' sans. If you got a Sans I can draw, I will happily draw him!)

Here's what I CAN'T do, for the moment, on the other hand:

NSFW art (This is because a) there's minors who follow this blog - I have to keep that stuff away (and keep them safe)! and b) I'm not ready to take NSFW commissions, and probably won't be a for a while.)

Heavy gore and themes (It's a lot to work with, and it's not something I personally dabble in if at all, so the result would NOT be to your liking if I tried more than likely lol)

Intricate Detail (I have my reasons for this! My wrist has been acting up more often in the last few years and so intricate detail is... overwhelming for me, right now, outside of personal work. It's just not a strong suit of mine, as much as I'd love it to be - it's not quite a part of the art style as it is right now.)

Added notes:

- I have the right to decline a commission if it either makes me uncomfortable to work with it or otherwise is overwhelming. That is to say, if one artist can't achieve what you're looking for then usually that's an indicator to hold onto your money for a bit until you find the right person!

I send the paypal link at the halfway point (the sketch, just before lineart) normally - but if you want to pay upfront, then please let me know. (I don't wait until the piece is completely done as a safety measure to ensure the person commissioning me doesn't nab the piece and run lol)

I CANNOT REFUND ONCE THE COMMISSION IS PAID FOR. The money goes STRAIGHT into family-related necessities like bills and groceries, and I absolutely CANNOT afford to return money when we are consistently struggling to even get food for the house, nevermind commissions. (It's also just kinda mean?? :c)

I am on commission burnout - what this means is that my work may take longer than usual to get done, but I hold to my word that I get it done no matter how long it takes. If you need the piece done as priority, then make sure you specify when giving the details for your commission! (I do best, however without a time limit or deadline to work with.)

As of right now, I'm practically (metaphorically) crying for simple designs due to this burnout! I need something I can just fly through to get done so I don't stress myself out further on a queue that's been waiting to be done for a hot second.
