Things I Want To Do Something With At Some Point: almost every time on afterlife there was a dragon there was more than one. First, fWhip and Joel were wyverian and Jimmy was a half-dragon all at once and then latter Shubble and Joey were wyverian at the same time.

fWhip, Joel, and Jimmy ran together while Shubble and Joey were in conflict (over children, specifically. There may have been some kidnapping)

Dragon gangs might be a fun thing to inflict on everyone, is what im getting at here. Fun for me, maybe less so for the rest of the afterlife crew especially Scott who im fairly certain was the only canonical casualty to any of the dragons

JUST THINKING about how Xiao Lanhua and Dongfang Qingcang initially, in that snowy cave, were still beholden to their respective tribes over each other, Xiao Lanhua insisting that Dongfang Qingcang was her enemy because he wanted to invade Shuiyuntian, and her shutting Dongfang Qingcang down with if he was hypothetically able to put down his duty to Cangyan Sea for her.

And then by the end, they have chosen each other over duty to their homelands. Xiao Lanhua refuses to leave Dongfang Qingcang even when he tells her he is going to war against Shuiyuntian and might end up killing Changheng. She abandons her identity as a member of the Xilan Tribe, and her people, to stay with Dongfang Qingcang. (Even if her devotion gets a little murkier as Xiyun — she refuses to abandon her responsibility to all living things to be with him — she still puts herself through a lot of pain for his supposed well-being.)

Dongfang Qingcang, for his part, pretty much tells Tai Sui that the hopes of his father and brother, as well as the people of Cangyan Sea, can find their own way when he's preparing to sacrifice himself for Xiao Lanhua. Under his first plan, where reality would have erased him altogether, that might have been disastrous for the Moon Tribe. As it is, he does leave them leaderless.

Anyway, what an arc.
