Whump Of May || Day 15 - Forgotten

Whumper was once a glorious tyrant. Practically a god among men. He ruled the stars, quenching their light and replacing the night sky with nothing with void.

Yet, now he felt himself fading. His strength, his legacy. He wasn't anything like the fearsome king he used to be.

He did try to claw his way back of course. The dark ages, the witch hunts, it was glorious! Yet it all faded eventually. Whumper tried one last attempt, he nearly succeeded too! Yet it ended even worse than his previous attempts. Trapped and tortured by is own creations.

He felt himself fading, the memories of his glory days slowly becoming forgotten.

Was going to draw Jack for this, but ended up drawing Pitch because he's easier to draw... 'easier' I say. I got distracted drawing all the swirls in his coat and it sorta just got away from me. I actually finished the lineart YESTERDAY, yet got so into making this look pretty it only got finished much later today.

I'm not upset over how long it took, it was really fun! Also for the first time in awhile I got to go out and have some fun, rather than just drawing all day and getting overwhelmed ^^'

an entry for this years rise of the guardians secret santa!! the prompt was "Pitch in a fancy gothic outfit" and I tried my best to find accurate goth outfits this really isn't my best work since i've only drawn Pitch twice, including this time, but it was really fun to draw!!

Happy 10 year anniversary to my favorite movie, Rise Of The Guardians

This movie holds a special place in my heart and got me into writing, as well as exploring concept art. I’ve met a few good friends cause of the movie and it helped me through out the years. I used to listen to the soundtrack and watched the moon from my window whenever I couldn’t sleep. I love the characters and how fans could so easily expand the storyline that we were given. The fandom produces beautiful fanart as well. I read a lot of fanfics and my favorite was @/somethingquitepeculiar by terasart. I hope one day dreamworks will give a short or post about the characters but who knows, only time will tell.
