A “Battle of the Big Tops” prequel exists as partially written but never finished. Like with many of my -ahem- ‘ambitious’ endeavors, they’re waiting in the wings for me to finish (or start) them.

Maybe one day, I’ll return to it — I don’t want to leave my fics unfinished, but hot tamales, grad school really drains your creativity 😮‍💨

I was about to say something along the lines of “I wish we got more Mikey looking up to the Sando Brothers because they’re ‘professional Razzmatazzees’” but then I realized that’s what the Circus AU was for lol

Then my brain went “Mikey aligning himself with the Sando Bros because they’re just as reckless as he is & they all love food is now faced with a dilemma when Meatsweats—his other idol—wants to have them for dinner.” And of course it’d be one of those misunderstanding situations where Meatsweats doesn’t mean ‘having them for dinner’ in the literal sense but Mikey doesn’t know that. Maybe the plot twist is the three of them plan on having turtle for dinner (aka Mikey) & that’s when Leo, Raph, and Donnie save his shell.
