New Fandom Binge Reblog Warning

So I seem to have found myself wrapped up in a (new to me) fandom that I'm currently overly excited for and been collecting artwork from. I've been keeping it sparse for the time being because I like to keep the seasonal themes on my account streamlined but I just wanna give my followers (and friends) a fair heads up.... ima be reblogging a SHIT TON of Moomin art in the near future and it's gonna be pathetic and sappy and stupid and I'm gonna enjoy every moment of it, but u all may hate me for it. Hello Folks!!

Welp, most of the stuff I'd saved up for moomin reblogging has been spent!! It's time to get back on track and keep the obsessive stuff to OTHER socials (namely discord and my new art blog I just established bwahahaha) Going forward I'll still probably reblog the occasional Moomin thing in the same way I share other pop-culture media that is themed around whatever I'm posting that month. I am reminded again why, despite how much I WANT to join groups and clubs and fandom discords and chat with ppl and make friends and share fun art and explore exciting subjects..... I shouldn't. My social skills are just garbage and I make ppl awkward with my apparent hot takes and interest in too many other subjects than the 1 and only subject allowed to be talked about and I'm just not good in group spaces. Sometimes I hate how much I can't just be normal....

I Need To Start Posting Shit

I think I wanna start posting some original shit on here. I dunno what kind of shit I should post about tho. What shit do y'all want to see me post about? Any ideas about original shit I can post on tumblr? If it's shit that's already been said a million times, easy enough. If it's my shit opinions on some shit, that's fine. New shit perhaps? Should I share some of my creative shit on here or save it for my other account? Honestly I don't spend as much time there as I do here. Anyone wanna shoot the shit, give me some ideas?

I’m being stalked by porn blogs?

So I’ve come to realize that a solid THIRD of blogs on tumblr that follow me or like/reblog my posts (like my actualy posts, not the stuff I reblog from others) are porn blogs. AND YET artists are forced to stick to strict rules about what they can and cannot post on here and are shut down if they step out of line. I’m very confused about how tumblr works now a days. Before it was bought up by other companies there weren’t as many porn blogs that I remember and there wasn’t this constant flood of nasty, inappropriate messages sent to my PM/DMs. I am literally being sent nude and underwear photos of girls in my inbox now from blogs I’ve never seen/heard of and it’s getting rather uncomfortable. Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of this stuff or is everyone suffering this same frustration? I’ve had to block like 60 accounts today that have been liking and reblogging my Encanto posts on their porn blogs and it worries me that I’ll get flagged if my stuff is found on their accounts :(
