It is with pride I present to everyone the St. Cassian Catholic School 2009-2010 Yearbook!
I probably sound like a broken record to all of the artists, but one more time I want to thank everyone for their ideas, their art, and most importantly their patience. Over the last month I've gotten to know 17 (excluding myself haha) of the coolest people in this fandom, all of which are artists I've admired long before I posted the sign up sheets. I also want to thank everyone who signed up! All of you are amazing and I'm so so grateful you all liked my idea so much. It has been so, so awesome putting this project together, and I will forever cherish it as one of the most special things I've ever been a part of.
Special thank you to iz @time-is-a-weird-soup, who did the lettering on the cover even though they were busy, and to Nat @idk-tbh-idk for drawing father Markus when I realized halfway through the project that I forgot to list him on the sign up sheet.
To the St Cassian's Yearbook Committee, I love you all so so much (/platonic).
Here are all of the lovely people I've gotten a chance to work with. Follow them, check them out, tell them you appreciate their work!!!!!
P.S. - I've linked the flip book version of our project above, though I think the slideshow pdf might be higher quality. The slideshow is below the cut!
You can call me Soul if you need a name, and I use whatever pronouns!
I'm here mostly to talk about my interests! I love Legoland and Ride the Cyclone, but specifically the earliest productions of Ride the Cyclone from 2008-2013!!
My header is actually a picture of two of the cut characters, Hank and Trishna, from the earliest version!! I was browsing the tag and noticed that not many people talk about them, which is a shame. The photo is pretty blurry because it's from 2008, but I cherish it all the same.
Calling all Ride the Cyclone/Legoland Fanartists: St Cassians' Yearbook Project Sign Up Sheet!!
Rules:
1. The art must be original art, not a picrew or anything like that.
2. Don't be rude to the other people in the project! You might not get your first choice depending on how many people sign up for a certain thing!
3. The individual pages MUST be of a canon character. I think in the group photos we might do some faceless background characters depending on whatever each artist wants.
4. One person will be assigned to each character, but one person may also take on an individual character and a group/club photo if they want to or if there aren't enough people.
5. The art can be traditional, I just ask that it be taken in good lighting or brightened up digitally before it goes in the yearbook. (I'm a traditional artist, so I get it!!)
Sign Ups Close next Friday (June 23rd) at midnight! I hope to see you there!
Headcanon where Trishna was extremely sheltered as a kid, so sheltered that her parents didn't let her have internet or technology, and Astrid and Hank will just give her their phones and let her play mind-numbing mobile games
I forget who said it, but I remember seeing a Tumblr post that said the promotional pictures done for 2011-2013 RtC looked like they were taken in hell i think? And if I'm honest I get why they thought that-
