But I have been spoilt rotten by my mom who cooked fresh food for every meal, every day. Moreover, cooking is the greatest stress reliever, at least for me. More stressful I am, more elaborate the dinner gets. Call me crazy, but the smell of garlic getting sautéed in olive oil is my happy place!! Still, some days, I can’t bring myself to cook anything. Or even order takeaway. I just want to some home made food, cooked lovingly by someone else. Preferably by my mom. Something like the picture here.
