Hello everyone! This is my first MAP that I've ever hosted, and it has been a joy developing everything for it! I am happy to be the host for this MAP, and have @snickerdoodlesart as the Co-Host for it as well. This MAP is a love letter to both Rain World and my favorite band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard! BABY'S FIRST MULTI ANIMATOR PROJECT YEAH!!!!

HII HELLO! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER JOINED A MAP AND FINISHED MY PART WHICH IS SOMETHING I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO, I'M SO EXCITED! admittedly this was a major learning curve so I am a bit nervous about uploading, especially since there might be some mistakes, but I did my best to experiment, I don't often use frame by frame so I'm a bit rusty with it, but I think I did good here! I think capcut unfortunately butchered the quality in some aspects, but other than that I am so proud of the results!

part 14 of the faerie soirée Rainworld map!

WOOO ANIMATION SPEEDRUN!! 2 DAYS TOPS LET'S GOOOOO

This map has a lot of story behind the production! Way back in August I was reached out to join this map. (not applied through the map call but rather dmed specifically and it was epic) Thus would have been my second ever large animation project but as I was working on it I got massive burn out and had to drop out. I stayed in the server to see the progress and help with backgrounds and such. I went on to work on other projects, collaborations and personal projects as well. But, it just so happened that 2 days ago 2 parts were dropped and I decided to pick this map back up again. Funnily enough, I had made a background for the original owner of this part! Motivation struck and I got it done in a shockingly short amount of time. Even if my computer had a heart attack and died in the middle of working on it..

Decided to get RW Tumblr involved with my map stuff, so definitely join or reblog if you can. My two ongoing Rain World maps, Davy Jones and Black Madonna have open thumbnail contests. So if animation isn’t your strong suit but you still want to contribute art, you are welcome to participate in the thumbnail contest. This thumbnail will be for the completed maps on YouTube. Here are the basic rules.

- The dimensions of your canvas must be 1920 x 1080

- The contest is open until the final parts of the maps are done.

- Submit a version with and without text and title your file with the name you want to be credited as.

- The winners of the contest will get a free shaded icon featuring a character of their choice.

- More information about the designs and guidelines will be found in the links below. These are from the map calls themselves.

- For Black Madonna, the main focus of the thumbnail should be on Five Pebbles and No Significant Harassment. The text should read “Black Madonna” and subtitled as “Complete Rain World Ragequit MAP” And should use this font.

Font

- For Davy Jones, the main focus of the thumbnail should be Rivulet. Either holding the Rarefaction Cell, swimming, or something else. Five Pebbles and Looks To The Moon can also be incorporated. The text should read “Davy Jones” and subtitled as “Complete Rain World Rivulet MAP” No specific font is required for the text as long as it kinda has a rustic pirate-esque look to it.
