I had a massive brain rot today and this was the outcome.

I don't know why, but I just wanted to see Sonic in Rain World because both have a nature and technology theme. Also, I just love Sonic so much.

passing on a question my friend randomly asked me - whats the most available way to recreationally summon cthulu?

This is actually a fairly common misconception. Cthulhu is not really an entity that can be summoned in the traditional sense. He can be invoked, certainly. He can visit someone in their dreams and let his will known. A sorcerer, wizard, or warlock can borrow his power in exchange for the usual (soul, sanity, servitude)

But summoned? No. There's nothing in the lore that involves him being summoned. The High Priest of the Great Old Ones sleeps in sunken R'Lyeh, where he will remain until the stars come right and he emerges from his tomb to bring forth an end to the Age of Man.

Incidentally, the 100th anniversary of the original publication of The Call of Cthulhu by HP Lovecraft is coming up in a few years! The first chapter was published in the February issue of Weird Tales in 1928, but the events of the story take place in 1925!
