I haven’t written for him yet, but I have been toying with an Arthur Morgan idea. And I like to have “tropes” for dynamics when I write.

For example; Michael & Y/N’s dynamic in SOAF&K/SOACC is greedy and hungry. Y/N desires to be so engrained in Michael’s being that she’s housed in his ribs and warmed by his blood. To take him over from the inside. While Michael is starving, aching for sweetness in a shade of red to seep between his teeth and linger in his mouth, to be full of something that won’t leave. To her, he is a tangy and bitter fruit to pull apart and devour. To him, she is a warm cut of meat, still bleeding and tough, which pulls at his primal need to relinquish hunger and forces him to sink his teeth in like an animal, even if the meal he’s having is keeping him alive. Constantly eating and constantly providing a meal. Ouroboros, if I were to simplify it.

But that’s not how I’d see a character like Arthur, personally. Excluding all his hesitance and self doubt, I can’t imagine his kind of love as selfish. I’m not entirely sure if I’ve pinned it down, but so far, what I’ve gathered in a sense of warmth. A kind of affection that is raw but in a natural way. Not like skinning an animal raw, but bare. Skin warmed by the sun and grown from the earth. And soft spoken sentiments said in private, the wind and sky for a witness. Not out of shame but because to see him so bare is a privilege he’s wary to hand out, and scared to do again. But aching for. The kind of ache that can only be described as hurt, even without physical pain. Like an invisible lead pulling on his soul toward something softer, something more gentle than the life he has, even if he doesn’t think he deserves it. And the desperation to provide an environment for that softness to remain and grow. He’s used to bitter black coffee, and maybe there’s comfort in familiarity, but there’s a healing in something sweet, special for him.

This went on for way too long and I am dissociated, so writing is hard to keep coherent. Cause I am not- here- all the way. But I hope this gets some kind of point across.

And while i'm fucking rambling !!! I'm so tired of working in the trades (maybe). My current job doesn't have enough work for us to do so i'm on my phone most of the day and i'm not to fond of that. But also i'm so so so so tired of being surounded by Cishet men who do not view me as a woman. They very much view me as a man, and not even a faggot of a man, just because i'm not effeminate. Like idek what I want from people observing me w/o context but forsure it's not seeing me as a "man"

One of the only things that makes me miss clubs is when I hear certain songs so I think about shit like how I danced to A.D.I.D.A.S. at least once a night for YEARS, (which I liked cuz it’s so short) djs always just assuming it’s sexy, and THEN having to keep a straight face while watching men who get zero ass have to pay me to have my tits out to a song about getting ZERO ass, the cycle of stupidity becoming complete, incredible, iconic even.

If you hear a weird noise in the rafters, there is a 50% chance it's RZ-3 and 40% chance it is a rat. Either way, don't shoot.

The goose in the Hangar is not a goose. The goose in the Bazaar is a goose. Either way, watch your step.

Pigeons are not permitted outside of their designated area in the Hangar, regardless of what Saint-14 says. Too many pigeons have been lost to ship engines, Tower cats, and Louis.

Do not approach the shadow in the Annex.

Don't harass the frames or RZ-3 will smite you. This includes Benedict 99-40, who is wandering around [redacted].

Don't violate COSHA rules around civilians or RZ-3 will smite you. Break them on your own time; don't drag civilians into it. (COSHA = City Occupational Safety and Hazard Agency)

The vending machine near the Annex [not Drifter's stash] will give you whatever drink you need most. Do not question it. Do not ask for a refund. Do not try to find out who stocks it.

The ramen shop in the Bazaar is run by a multi-generational family. They will feed you even if you're low on glimmer. Eating locally is encouraged!

If you see a sick or injured Tower cat, please call the hotline instead of trying to deal with it yourself! There is a Tower vet on call 24/7.

Dares, death pacts, "Thanatonaut research" waivers, and other agreements made while jumping off the Tower aren't legally binding and therefore not admissible in City court.

Contrary to popular opinion, RZ-3 is not the origin for 1/3 of the Tower's "weird rules" (eg "don't use fire extinguishers as 'engines' for cardboard box races"). He does know most of the stories behind them, however.
