i used to freehand comics all the time as a child and since the part i liked was the drawing part i would just draw panel after panel because i didn't want to stop drawing to think about icky icky words, plus the story TOTALLY still made perfect sense! to me! and noone else, but 'whoooo caaaaares omgggg its not like comics and sequantial art are a communicative meeediummmm lmaoooooo'. i spent my entire childhood telling myself stuff like "oh pfft I know this story by heart- ill SIMPLY remember the dialogue and write it later" ...and. I can't help but admire baby maiora's (call that a minora ba tm tsk) fucking audacity? hubris? confident wrongness? kid couldn't even remember to finish the comics in the first place? INCREDIBLE levels of unearned self assurance, wish that were me, genuinely- what an icon!!! anyway i think i have forever cursed myself

whenever I see an op on a post replying to replies (?) and reblogs being overly aggressive, sarcastic, pointing and laughing at them and just being a smarmy dick it just makes my heart kinda drop.

because like, what purpose does that serve you? What purpose does being mean and insulting a stranger’s intelligence serve you? I get if there being annoying but still, other than a slight ego boost what does it serve you to do that?

observations from people watching at the therapist thanksgiving:

everyone seemed to like each other

no one mentioned a single thing about politics

there was not even a small argument or passive aggressive comment made

the cooking and set up and clean up was not only done by women

I'm a little inactive but rest assured I'm Healing bc one heck of a busy goddamn schoolyear just ended that took the life out of me and ive now gone into Resting Mode. I've still yet to graduate so I'm not out of the woods yet but For Now I've just been spending my time sleeping or doing chores around my neglected room or Going Outside And Touching Grass, and lifes been good. I haven't really gone back into Creation Mode but I'm still thinking about whump every day and I'm just giving it time. Doing rlly good rn

As far as I know the specific rumor about Noah being planned to be in Heather's alliance and spy on the guys may have just been completely made up by someone on tv tropes. However I think it's incredibly funny if true. Especially the part about it getting scrapped because they wanted it to be an "all-girls" alliance.

Cause imagine you have this character that's pretty queer-coded in his early appearances and is friends with Owen, the one guy explicitly shown to have a crush on another dude. And then in this scrapped storyline he's going to be in an alliance with 2 of the most attractive girls in the show, presumably show no interest in them, and then spy on the other boys. This plotline would have had extremely gay vibes, probably too gay for kids network television in 2007.

If the rumor is true their two options at the time to mitigate that were basically give him a romantic subplot with Heather/Beth or scrap the whole thing. And they chose the latter. And they still had him kiss Cody and play it for laughs. So like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Zack/Aerith (Final Fantasy VII)- With the recent FF7 remake chapter out I've been thinking about the best golden retriever soldier boy and the sassy spunky flower girl so much <3

KuroFai (Tsubasa)- My favorite ship of all time, they are always floating around in my mind. The grumpy ninja with a secret heart of gold and the deeply traumatized mage who is trying to hide his feelings? 10/10 no notes. not to mention the whole I-will-save-you-whether-you-like-it-or-not situation that leads to one of them becoming a vampire. Permanent heart eyes.

Ellis/Zoey (Left 4 Dead)- I fell back into my L4D phase recently and can't stop thinking about how sweet Ellis' immediate crush on Zoey is! I am also biased because the horror-movie-loving spitfire girl and southern gamer golden retriever boy is basically me and my husband in video game form.

First Ship Ever: I've been shipping since before I knew what shipping was, so if you want the absolute first then probably Rick and Evie from the Mummy, but if you want the ship that helped me discover fandom and fanfic and all of that good stuff (after my family got access to the internet) then it was AkuRoku (Axel and Roxas) from Kingdom Hearts II, and hoooo boy do I feel a little old.

Last Song You Heard: Someone New by Hozier (Is anyone surprised it's a Hozier song? I never shut up about him)

Favorite Children's Book: The Secret Garden! I'm a sucker for doomed love stories and a dead character haunting the narrative. Also a Series of Unfortunate Events because I have always had a taste for the macabre.

Currently Reading: I have had a copy of Frankenstein on my desk for months but I haven't technically started it yet, but it's next on my list!

yn ln is currently a teacher in england, and the couple has managed to keep their relationship entirely under the radar. sources close to the couple reveal that they chose to keep their marriage private due to her career in education, wanting to protect her from the intense public scrutiny that comes with being associated with an f1 star (hence the reason she has kept her maiden name)

the screenshot, which shows a sweet picture of oscar looking into her camera, has sent the f1 fandom into spirals!
