The Sadana Island ship
The Sadana Island ship (Egypt) is of unknown type and origin, it is neither European nor Arabic or any other known Mediterranean type. But an examination of the wood revealed that it date in the 18th century.
Tumblr media
Parts of the wreck (x)
One promising clue comes from historical documents describing Indian ships in the Red Sea.
Tumblr media
The anchor (x)
So far, no one has found a large Indian ship from the mid-18th century. Egyptian ships from this period have not been found either, so these are two entries on the list of Possible Ship Types.
Tumblr media
The Wreck (x)
The ship measures more than 51m in length and was probably at least 15m wide and perhaps as deep. It could have carried up to 900 tonnes of cargo.
Tumblr media
Parts of the cargo (x)
The vast majority of the cargo carried organic material and spices (bharat), including coffee, Indian spices (pepper, coriander, cardamom, and nutmeg), coconuts, hazelnuts, grapes, figs, olives, and remains of sheep, goats, birds, and fish. But also Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain, large storage jars of clay, and green glass bottles.

1920 London (2016)
My rating: 4/10
Unfortunately, even though this movie does not skimp on the amusingly overdramatic editing, this doesn't make up for the plodding pace and boring characters.

Jatadhara 'Shiva'
God Shiva is called ‘Jatadhara’, which means who has heap of matted hair on the head.Shiva is reverred as Vyomakesha, which means that His hair is like Sky (Vyoma means Sky and Kesha is hair).Shiva, the Ascetic Yogi is beyond the worldly affairs. So, He doesn't have to maintain his hair. When Holy river Ganga had to descend to Earth, no one except Shiva had the power to withstand the mighty Ganga River. Shiva received Ganga in his matted locks ( hair ) and released her, from His hair in seven streams. Thus Shiva became Gangadhara. The God who has the River Ganga on his head, does He need to maintain His hair!
Ganga Jatadhara Gowri Shankara Girija Mantra: Ganga Jatadhara Gowri Shankara Girija Mano Ramana Jaya Mruthyunjaya Mahadeva Maheshwara Mangala Shubha Charana Nandi Vahana Naga Bhooshana Nirupama Guna Sadana Natana Manohara Neelakanta Sai Neeraja Dala Nayana
Glory to Lord Shankara, who bears the Holy Ganges in His hair and whose consort is Goddess Girija, born of the mountains. Glory to the One, who is the Lord of Lords and who has conquered death and whose Feet confer auspiciousness. Glory to the One who rides the bull, Nandi. Glory to the One who has a cobra around His neck. Glory to the One who is the embodiment of unparalleled virtues. Hail the enchanting dancer, the blue-throated Shiva who is none other than Sai and whose eyes are like the petals of the lotus.
Har Har Mahadev!!!

And here I have my one of many RoR ocs' reference sheet.
I've made this a while ago but I wanna post it here too ><
Lemme introduce you to Dewi Sri, The Goddess of Rice and Fertility from th Ancient Javanese Pantheon!!
A human who ascended to the heavens, becoming a God along with her younger brother. The Goddess who cares for the people through crops and harvests. Sri has always put a smile on her face despite the tragedies that had happened to her. Because behind that smile of hers was a story of sorrows and struggle to protect her loved ones.
Facts about her : - She was married to Vishnu. Their marriage was a punishment for Sri because she was an accomplice to a major incident in her pantheon - Sri has two sons, one when she was with Vishnu and the other is with her current spouse - While Sri has two sons in Godhood, she never had any in her times as a human. Unlike her, Sadana, Sri's younger brother had one. - Sri may not be proficient in combat, but she has a vast world of knowledge in her head. Spells and curses are up in her alley.
p.s. about her falling for one of the human champions, I changed that bit ^^'. Currently she's married to one of my mutual's oc!
Also I will post fake screenshots of my other RoR ocs here too if you all want to see more!

Magnus Protocols Episode 18 Thoughts
Spoilers under the cut!
Augustus incident! Last one of those was the violin. If anyone can find any connections between the two I would love to hear them - I'm trying to compile a theory on whether Chester, Augustus and Norris read specific types of thing.
The presiding ME, Dr S Rashid, shares a name (ish) with one Dr Rashid Sadana, an anatomy teacher in MAG 34 (anatomy class represent!) who offed himself after, presumably, a run in with the anatomy class. Same man? Maybe. Anatomy teaching may be linked to some stuff as an ME - they're linked fields, after all. Anyway, onto the meat of the episode:
That's a Domain statement, right? It has to be. I reckon those two bodies have come from the same place. Probably the Eyepocalypse, but I don't know for certain. That statement was Lonely adjacent but I felt it was also quite Spirally.
ALSO GEORGIE BARKER I MISSED YOU! It makes a lot of sense Celia went to her if this is TMA Celia. Love that she's a conspiracy theorist, though. Makes sense.
And finally: oh christ, you fuckers, please start believing each other. Alice's sarcasm and Sam refusing to believe Gwen despite ABSOLUTE evidence shit's fucked is driving me UP the fucking wall. I think - I genuinely think this - that the in-universe characters are likely not gonna get answers at all, and probably all die while we scream at them for not realising how fucked everything was.
It feels allegorical, is what I'm saying. I mean, both of Jonny's books are. And yeah I know they're not magnusverse but work with me here.

Hello, I read your post that you follow tantra meditation and I wanted to ask do you practice only the meditation or are you following the tantra path for spirituality?
I am trying these days to know more about tantra sadana and when I saw that you do tantra meditation I got curious 😅😅 and the previous ask about PV narasimha rao astrologer I looked into his website he considers ' swami vimalandha' as his guru who is a tantric , he's also guru to Robert svoboda who wrote ' aghora : the trilogy ' and a tantric as well.
What really piqued my interest in tantra is the whole different perspective of looking at life , at first was I was afraid of even the word 'tantra' ( is such a taboo in India) . Now I feel so much respect for it , how they give importance to women in sadana ( obviously they pray to 10 MAHAVIDHYAS ) and I know some rituals are not for the faint heart but tantra in itself is so vast , beautiful and vv hard but also very fast result giving path . Sorry for the yapping but if you already know about tantra , cool. If not I suggest watching RAJASHRI NANDY podcast episodes on TRS channel he's awesome, and the aghora trilogy by Robert svoboda
I thought it'd be awesome to share with you. Love each and every post of yours, keep doing it ! ❤️❤️❤️
i only practice the meditation
ive heard of robert svobodha!!
ive actually watched that episode, Rajshri sir is very eloquent and explains concepts well!!
here it is for anyone who is interested (theyve done several episodes together including one about vedic astrology if you want to watch)
tysm <33 hope you have a good day tomm<3

Guhyasamaja Tantra [Part LXI]
We were in the process of preparing a knowledge consort. It is made up of these steps: (1) emanating a knowledge consort, (2) dissolving her into emptiness, (3) generating her into Sparśavajra's divine form, and now we will install the Guhyasamāja mandala deities into Sparśavajra's body.
Tibetan Buddhism, an ancient spiritual tradition influenced by nondual Tantra is characterized by its unique practices and rituals and places great importance on the acquisition and preservation of knowledge. Within this rich tapestry of wisdom lies the concept of the knowledge seal, a sacred symbol that represents the attainment and safeguarding of profound insights. The knowledge seal, known as "Dharma Mudra" in Tibetan, is a symbolic gesture performed by enlightened masters and practitioners. It involves the placement of the hands in a specific configuration, with the tips of the thumbs touching and the remaining fingers intertwined. This gesture conveys profound meaning and serves as a physical embodiment of the wisdom and understanding attained through years of dedicated practice and study.
The intertwined fingers represent the interdependence of all phenomena, emphasizing the interconnectedness of the universe. It signifies the unity of wisdom and compassion, two fundamental aspects of the Buddhist path. The touch of the thumbs symbolizes the union of conventional and ultimate truth, the realization of which leads to enlightenment.
The knowledge seal holds a vital place in Tibetan Buddhist practices and rituals. It is often used during meditation and ceremonial activities as a means of invoking blessings, transmitting spiritual energy, and establishing a connection with enlightened beings. By forming the seal, practitioners aim to align themselves with the enlightened qualities it represents, thereby deepening their spiritual experience.
Furthermore, the knowledge seal serves as a reminder of the impermanence and transient nature of existence, as it is believed to seal the teachings in the practitioner's mind. It acts as a protective barrier against the erosion of wisdom, allowing the practitioner to retain and recall the insights gained during their spiritual journey.
In Tibetan Buddhism, the transmission of knowledge is considered a sacred and highly revered process. The knowledge seal plays a crucial role in this transmission, as it signifies the passing down of wisdom from teacher to disciple. When a master imparts teachings or initiations to a student, they often use the knowledge seal to infuse the recipient with spiritual blessings and empowerments.
The act of receiving the knowledge seal from a qualified teacher is believed to establish a direct connection with the lineage of enlightened masters who have come before. It is seen as a profound and transformative experience, solidifying the bond between teacher and student and ensuring the continuation of the teachings.
The knowledge seal is also associated with the concept of sealing and protection. In Tibetan Buddhism, it is believed that enlightened masters possess the ability to seal spiritual teachings within the minds of their disciples, safeguarding them from being forgotten or distorted. This seal acts as a powerful means of preservation, ensuring the purity and authenticity of the teachings for future generations.
Moreover, the knowledge seal is considered a protective talisman that shields practitioners from negative energies and obstacles on their spiritual path. By forming the seal, individuals invoke the blessings and guidance of enlightened beings, creating a spiritual shield that aids them in overcoming challenges and attaining higher states of consciousness. The sadana continues:
"GENERATING THE KNOWLEDGE SEAL INTO THE FORM OF SPARSAVAJRA
Om
śūnyatājñānavajrasvabhāvāt mako 'ham.
The knowledge consort dissolves into emptiness. From that state of emptiness, there appears a kham syllable
that turns into a vajra marked by a kham syllable. That vajra turns into a blue

She has three faces that are blue, white, and red, and six arms of which the three right hands hold a vajra, a wheel, and a lotus, and the three left ones a bell, a jewel, and a sword. Her twisted locks are bound up halfway. Her sexual passion is greatly aroused, and she has a smiling face. Her appearance is enhanced by sidelong glances and other expressions. He has three faces that are red, black, and white, and six arms of which the first left hand holds the stem of a red lotus together with a bell at his hip and the first right hand holds a blossoming lotus at his heart. The right hands hold a vajra and a wheel, and the left ones a jewel and a sword.
In the region from her throat down to the point midway between her two breasts, there appears a blue HUM syllable that turns into a blue Akṣobhya, who is crowned by Akṣobhya. He has three faces that are blue, white, and red, and six arms of which the three right hands hold a vajra, a wheel, and a lotus, and the three left ones a bell, a jewel, and a sword.
in the region from her heart down to her navel, there appears a yellow SVA syllable that turns into a yellow Ratnasambhava, who is crowned by Akṣobhya. He has three faces that are yellow, black, and white, and six arms of which the three right hands hold a jewel, a vajra, and a wheel, and the three left ones a bell, a yellow lotus, and a sword.
In the region from her navel down to her hips, there appears a green HA syllable that turns into a green Amoghasiddhi, who is crowned by Akṣobhya. He has three faces that are green, black, and white, and six arms of which the three right hands hold a sword, a variegated vajra, and a wheel, and the three left ones a bell, a green lotus, and a jewel.
In her navel there appears a LAM syllable that turns into Locanā. In her heart there appearsa mām syllable that turns into Mamakī. In her throat there appears a PAM syllable that turns into Pāṇḍaravāsini. In the crown of her head there appears a TAM syllable that turns into Tārā.
