𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 ... 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 @wcmensworld
sadie had lost everything in the fire. there was no more recently renovated kitchen , no three guitars , no more sentimental photos from the first few tours. everything was gone. so instead of writing in her usual comfy armchair , she'd rented the studio space for a few hours. the acoustics were good , even if she wasn't recording anything. using a replacement guitar , she was writing. anger and hurt and loss into words and melodies , in the hopes to get it off her chest. a small noise alerted her to the fact that she was no longer alone , and the sky outside was beginning to change colours. her time had long been up. " do you have the space booked ? " she asked , getting up from the chair and walking over.

For @choicesmcmadness week 1: shelter
I have a few HCs for Sadie and Ethan about camping because these two love the outdoors
They have a cabin in the woods in New York state that they use pretty often
It was Ethan's since before they got together
If they're going camping somewhere else, though they use a tent
They go camping pretty often, so they have plenty of high quality equipment
Sydney and Ethan love the outdoors, but Sydney prefers a little more modern version of camping
He's a big fan of glamping tbh
So, Sydney and Ethan own an RV camper
Sydney decorated it himself and made it very boho
Jackie and Thomas own a cabin in the Pacific Northwest (I haven't decided exactly where yet, but if y'all have any suggestions I'd love to hear them)
They also have a beach house in Malibu
But if they're camping somewhere they don't own a house, they use a tent
Gabe, Sav, and Aislinn go to a hotel when they go "camping"
Gabe and Aislinn are city folk lol
Sav can definitely handle roughing it, but he doesn't like to as much
Adding some new couples in the mix this month!
(from Hot Couture)
Analise and Marco own a really cute camper that they use when they go camping
They don't go often because they already travel a lot for work, but they still go sometimes
So, they usually stay in the camper when they go
(from Crimes of Passion)
When Jenna and Trystan go camping they use a tent
Tyrstan was definitely hesitant at first, as he had no experience with this, but Jenna told him if they were going to to camping they were going to do it right
Jenna's dad took them camping a lot when they were young, so they're really good in the outdoors and taught Trystan all he needed to know

" fuck sake , caspian. you scared the fucking shit out of me ! " sadie shouted. hand slid along the coffee table instinctively , wiping any white - powdered residue off the surface. muscle memory betrayed her , momentarily distracted from the slight shakiness that reminded her that she hadn't actually had a bump yet today. not only that , but she was in public , sat outside a mom and pop cafe with a discarded half - full plate of pancakes , an empty cup of coffee and her notebook. " i thought this was my secret spot , " she said , more neutral this time. @frcstdfae

Me, crying cuz I’m excited for your next watch be it Psych or Criminal Minds. Either will be enjoyable. Tho I fear if it’s CM, you’ll awaken my Shemar Moore crush. It’s ever present.
Ooh, also, Paget Brewster (Sadie Doyle from Beyond Belief) is a main in it for a lot of the show.
Oh, but Psych is so fun and I can imagine how much fun you’ll have with it! It’s so silly and fun and charming!
oooh i'm excited to entertain you, anon

Reader’s Forum – Sadie Moore Stewart on CUZ
As a former Public Defender, Director of a Federal Community Treatment Center, Corrections Officer at the Alabama Women’s Prison , and Air Force Rehabilitation Specialist, I can say the authors recitation of her experience within the prison system is very typical.
I especially enjoyed her perception regarding the “control” factor.
As to the lack of appreciation she seems to have for Public…

🔎 YA Under the Radar 7 🔍
I have been working on this list in the series all year 😂 it just took me that long to read a decent amount of underrated YA - but I got there in the end and I'm pretty happy with the recs on this list 🥰
there are rainbow flags next to LGBT+ rep, wheelchair symbols next to disability rep and koalas next to Australia YA simply because there's a lot of that on this particular list
so take a gander and maybe consider picking up a title or two (or ten) in 2024 to support lesser-known authors and books 😊

Finding Serenity AMIDST STARDUST
Celebrity Makeup Artist Mary Wiles
Beyond the dazzling world of celebrities and Fashion Weeks, British makeup maven Mary Wiles enjoys the quiet charm she's found in Sutton.
"I love how quiet and calm it is here despite being in NYC," she beams. "I also love the park at 57th by the water, and the new esplanade is stunning." It's been her serene spot since May 2019, finding a peaceful respite between the city's hustle and her whirlwind career. Mary's a regular at Tenz Coffee Shop on 1st. "They make the most amazing lavender flat white. It's the best in the city, or anywhere in fact," she gushes. "The carrot cake is also divine."
With over 25 years of experience in the makeup industry, Mary's professional journey spans across continents — from London to Paris and now in the heart of New York, for fashion week. "I work mainly with celebrities, so I will be working with clients going to the shows and sitting in the front row," she explains. From dazzling runway shows to rubbing shoulders with A-listers at star-studded movie premieres, her career reads like a glittering Hollywood script.
Celebrities like Naomi Watts, Sadie Sink, Demi Moore, and Diane Keaton pepper her client list, highlighting her remarkable journey in the world of glitz and glam."I love keeping it varied and working with all people of all walks of life," she exclaims, emphasizing her deep appreciation for diversity and individual stories. As much as Mary immerses herself in the world of beauty and high-profile events, her quest for balance and grounding is evident. "I try to be present and have a good balance," she reflects.
Her goals are simple: be present, remain content in her work, and find a good balance. Sipping lavender flat whites in Sutton and cherishing moments of tranquility amidst the city's chaos, Mary epitomizes grace and composure.
